    WWE buying ROH?

http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/buyout-ring-honor-wwe/ "Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell us the companies have been talking since January and things have been slowly progressing, with the plan being a full takeover if the deal is made official."
  2. Dear Dave, I hope you received the VHS! I am getting quite good of packing things in discrete brown boxes and shipping them out for my job, so you should had got it. This was a very exciting week CMLL Television, as they promised to show highlights of every match that took place at Arena Mexico. I'm starting to make business trips to Mexico more frequently, so I plan to try to get to Arena Mexico some Friday night to see this stuff in person. If the TV was any indication, CMLL is magically on Friday nights! After a run down of the card, we get a video of Los Guerreros del Universo (Black Terry, Negro Casas, Blue Panther, Babe Face, & Los Villanos) at a party. That clown from last week is in attendance making balloon animals, giving them to kids and then popping them. A cake with UWA written on top is there and Los Guerreros are celebrating that they will take all the titles in CMLL, because CMLL is inferior to UWA. After the titles, they will take everybodies hair and masks and disgrace the company. Proving UWA is superior. The camera panned over to a giant roasting pig with a CMLL sign hung around it's neck. Very ominous. The matches then started, but sadly most were clips. The clips were amazing though. Gran Cochisse won a title in the opener. Looked like a fun little match, but we didn't get much. The second match was shown in full between El Solar and Black Terry and these seemed like a classic between a great technician and a great brawler. These are two great vets and the drama was huge. Negro Casas, who was Terry's second, distracted the referee so Terry could kick Solar in the balls to win the title. It seemed like the referee was easily distracted and didn't seem to care about Casas' cheating. Cien Caras and Babe Face was cut to under a minute. Negro Casas interfered again with a cheap shot leading to Babe Face winning the title. This time the referee was clearly allowing Casas to interfere. Dave, who is this shitty ref?? Los Villanos defended their recently won Trios Titles against El Hijo Del Santo, Vulcano, and Tony Acre. From what we say this was a high impact high flying contest. Villanos won, with little cheating. The main event was one of the better matches I've seen since starting to watch CMLL. Blue Panther and Atlantis are technical marvels. The first two falls were mostly on the mat and I was transfixed. They traded the first two falls. The final fall saw Atlantis hit a dive over the top and he seemed to have the win, but all of Los Guerreros del Universo came to ringside and they blooded Atlantis up leaving him as easy prey. Blue Panther wins the final title. What a great show, amazing wrestling and this UWA group is HATED in Mexico. I can't wait till Gran Cochisse (the only one who seems to been able to stand up to them) gets some people on his side. The tape will be in the mail. Stan Grimmas Hey Stan, Thanks again for the tape. It did come as you promised, but there was some white powder on it I had to blow off before watching. You might want to clean them before sending them. To answer your question, there are rudo refs in Mexico who favour the rudos. So many title changes seems to go against Mexico's usually format. I guess the new leadership is really changing things up. These super group of UWA guys is one of the strongest angles I've seen in wrestling. An invasion angle, I wonder why no other promotion has tried that before?
  3. The rudos fans atleast

  5. They were booked pretty shitty since they were called up. They appeared and we were told they were awesome, but there was nothing organic. It was just you should like these guys, but were never shown why. They should had had more vignettes to get to know them more, then some squahses to build them up. Instead they were right in the title picture from the beginning.

  8. Canek is now full-time with CMLL, by the way.
  9. Thanks, very appreciated. If you have other questions you want cleared up, let me know and I will work them in. To answer one of them, yes Dusty Rhodes did steal his famous promo from the WON from a letter by Stan Grimmas.
  10. Valente Fernandez is released and Jose Lothario is picked up.
  11. Nevermind.
  12. Good for you, you missed out on some shitty people that I happened to see.
  13. Are you denying anyone blamed her for having her phone stolen or it's her fault, she shouldn't had made the video? I saw it from a variety of sources, but I'm not going to go back and look for them because you don't believe me. I get it you hate every character I type. I should had known better than to post in a thread you are in.
  14. Well, we agree these are idiots. Always the same. That's all I was saying.
  15. "Here" as in this case, not specifically PWO.
  16. "Fuck, that sucks. So sorry about that, this hacker is an asshole. That said, you really should not keep your sex videos on your phone, it's not safe." These were not the kind of things that I was talking about. That kind of statement is obviously fine. However, there is a bunch of people not doing that kind of statement, but instead blaming her.
  17. I haven't said a thing about you. People have flat out said it's her fault, she shouldn't have made them or shouldn't have kept them on her phone. It's her fault. That's stupid. I never once said you did, or everybody did. However to deny the same thing is not happening is bizarre. Have you not been on reddit or twitter or facebook or anything? There is victim blaming going on here. EDIT: I knew it was stupid of me to post anything here. I should had just kept to twitter.
  18. So, we can't compare something without thinking they are the exact same? That's some shitty logic. A lot of people (not so much here) have said it's her fault, because she is a celebrity and she shouldn't keep that stuff on her phone. They have blamed her, for having her stuff stolen and released to the public. Often times when someone gets raped, people will blame the person for the clothes they were. It's an analogy. In no way do I think theft is the same as rape, that's bonkers. However, I think blaming the victim happens in both these cases.
  19. I really dislike this, you are a celebrity and your private stuff was stolen and now it's public, and it's your fault. It sounds a lot like blaming a rape victim for wearing a skirt. People are allowed to make sex tapes without them being stolen. There is no justification for stealing someone's private stuff and making it public. (Unless we are talking about something like a politician doing private things that hurt the people who elect him or other unique situations of course).
  20. Holy shit, you run the town I went to university in. I don't know if I could had handled an 85 minute Dory match, but a very fun overall show.
  21. That's a hell of a roster there and a cool little tittle tournament.
  22. Both have their merits, but I'm more on the UWF side here.
  23. This whole thing has been delightful with the right people going over the at the right time. Really well laid out.
  24. Los Guerreros del Universo appeared on a television talk show today. Originally it was Blue Panther, Negro Casas, Black Terry, and Babe Face, but they introduced the newest members of the unit, Los Villanos. The 7 men talked about how much better UWA was then CMLL and how they regret the merger of the two. Their main goal now is to prove UWA > CMLL by winning all the titles. Casas and Villanos are already champions and the remaining three have all issued challenges for the next Arena Mexico show. Babe Face challenged Cien Caras for the Mexican National Heavyweight Title. Blue Panther challenged Atlantis for the Mexican National Middleweight Title. Finally, Black Terry challenged El Solar for the Mexican National Lightweight TItle. After they win all the titles, the next step will be to embarrass the roster by taking their hair and masks or by sending them to the hospital. At this point Negro Casas said his main annoyance is Gran Cochisse, who has been a thorn in their side since the merger. Following this appearance, Paco Alonso confirmed the three titles match all to take place on March 22nd at Arena Mexico. He also signed Los Villanos to take on El Hijo del Santo, Tony Acre, and Vulcano for the Trios Titles and finally, El Talisman will defend his Welterweight Title against Gran Cohisse. The night will be called "Noche de Campeones", the Night of Champions.
