  1. When did the no-blood policy go away? Because Flair gigged at Starrcade 1995
  2. Scott Hudson is wrong and a liar. The crowd heat for HHH v. Taker was insane
  3. I was at the show too, really enjoyed it. Can't say I noticed that about the divas though
  4. ....What?
  5. You know, I'd love to have that type of optimism regarding Hunter and more importantly, the WWE, but I just can't. I mean, how many times have they swerved us in the past - or destroyed characters? Not saying if Taker loses it'll destroy him character wise, but it will definitely do something to him, and to that degree, Triple H too. They did, after all, de-mask Kane, which ruined him for a lengthy period of time, as the "scars" were only psychological. The WWE does have a track record of doing the wrong thing, notably with HHH involved. Maybe I'm just being too pessimistic? At any rate, if Triple H does win - what's the end result? But he's not winning. De-masking Kane, and Kane's rampage of terror was amazing.
  6. I thought the finish was HBK costing Triple H the match, to set up a feud and a match at Backlash. They have mentioned he is undefeated since Wrestlemania 11. Orton became the first wrestler to face him just so he could break the streak
  7. Triple H is obviously not winning
  8. Shatner isn't in the HOF, he just inducted King
  9. Lawler shouldn't have won, Miz needed the win and a chance to look good, especially with a Wrestlemania match with Cena coming back. Who should have won instead of Edge to face Del Rio? Rey v. Del Rio was already blown off. The booking was predictable because it was the right booking to set up the matches for Wrestlemania. They should be praised for it, and not doing the stupid stuff they've done the past few years where they kept changing the title at the Chamber Honestly, the right booking for Mania should have either been having Orton having to go through a bunch of hoops over a number of months to get a title rematch with Miz (the first or second since Miz won the title) or Barrett winning the belt in Sept and Cena finally going through a bunch of hoops to get his revenge against him at Mania. There's no weight to Cena/Miz. They have six weeks to build it but they shouldn't have to at this point, not for Mania. I guess I'd call this PPV the best they could do considering the bed they made. They have built up Cena a bit, by mentioning the hell he went through with Nexus the last year and now he's focusing on winning the World Title. Plus, they've been hinting at Miz v. Cena since January, and they have six weeks to really go balls out. I get it, you don't like Edge. But who should've won then to face Del Rio? Rey v. Del Rio part 9,000? Big Show v. Del Rio? The others were heels. Regarding Miz being a Honky Tonk Man champion, if he's going into Wrestlemania, shouldn't they try to make him more than a lame duck like they did with Jericho? What better way to make people hate him than being the guy who killed Lawler's dreams. Lawler is a legend, but he doesn't need to be protected, and Miz absolutely had to go over clean. I even like that they sent Riley to the back to show that Miz won by himself. It would've been a cool moment, and I was rooting for King, but it would've been the wrong thing to do, especially with Mania coming up. It's a nice idea in theory, but I think it'd be the wrong move for business. Again, this is WWE being smart, and I think you're just upset that they didn't book to your desires.

  11. THe SD! chamber match was amazing. I really liked King v. Miz, I thought the crowd was fine, and I like that it was clean.
  12. I always felt the Survivor Series match was the best in the series
  13. How can anyone hate the Rumble match? I was at the show, and the crowd was hot, though I think they got burnt out by the end, especially with Cena v. Orton getting no reaction. Booker T and Diesel got insane pops and the Santino Marella thing was great
  14. What are they debating about?
  15. Agreed. I watched it again recently, and he seemed pretty upset, and his words seemed heartfelt. Just because he conspired to hold down a guy doesn't mean he's not going to be broken up when a guy dies in a tragic accident
  16. Foley has said he was basically bitter that Mero made more money than he did, but he's not bitter anymore
  17. Is there something inherently wrong with them doing so? Although, I have to admit that Shawn getting his win back at the RAW vs Smackdown match at Survivor Series a few weeks later was the near-height of petty for me. But the story was HBK coming back from a 3-on-1 deficit, so of course he's going to have to pin Mysterio. How do we know that wasn't how the match was laid out with no consideration to him getting his job back?
  18. Rock v. Austin at X-7 has an epic feel that Rock v. Austin XIX just can't match
  19. I remember at Wrestlemania 11 they casually mentioned that he had never lost at Wrestlemania. Austin doing everything he can to beat Rock (cobra clutch, Sharpshooter, him flipping out and cursing a blue streak when Rock kicks out of a stunner) is another reason it's better
  20. Wrestlemania XIX is all punches and finishing moves too. The ending to Rock v. Austin at X-7 is great. Rock won't go down and keeps kicking out of everything, so Austin just murders him with chairshot after chairshot until he's officially dead. It's tremendous.
  21. That was in 2001 I think
  22. CM Punk (while face) got destroyed by Umaga in Chicago at Judgement Day. Totally killed the crowd
  23. Yea, that angle where Mick Foley walked out on Randy Orton sucked as well. I thought RAW was tremendous
