Really Hogan and Warrior being dumped by Perfect while locked in combat would set up the SNME tag nicely.

SK: Madusa? Was she a draw in Japan? WCW and WWE never had her in a "drawing" spot. Sable had to have drawn tons more in both merch and viewers. -
Chael Sonnen - still the world's greatest carny!

Sonnen is training in case Vitor pulls out -
By the way, that's brilliant and I'm ripping it off. I got my producer for WHATAMANOOVER! working on an audio mash-up of Kane and Costanza. And crowd aside, how cool was it that Punk was yelling "I'M the King of Memphis, Tennessee!!" ? You could totally tell that he was having a blast. And here we go. "KANE meets COSTANZA! WHATAMANOOVER! Fri nites at 11pm EST on http://www.tnt-radio.net/ It's a Pro Wrestling Radio/ Podcast hosted by Bryan Miller and Johnny Sorrow. Join us as we keep one eye on the current world of wrestling, and one eye on the classics. Like Robert Gibson if he was Doctor Who?" Taken down already

That got annoying when the announcers had to say they had no clue what Goldburg's record was and fans should tune into Nitro to find out. Mad them sound incompetent -

Kind of a random question here: When the hard liners were feuding with the Steiners in WCW, WCW's syndicated show promised a match between either The Steiners vs Hardliners as a main event or a Rick Steiner vs Murdoch 1 on 1 match... Then the next week the match was canceled (Was this Scott's arm injury? I don't remember the time frame) and from what I remember (I was 8 or 9) WCW made it up to the fans by having the whole show be competitive matches instead of squashes (The only match I remember is OMG over Big Josh w/ Gang winning after Josh took a shot with his axe handle to his back)... Anyways... Anyone have a full line up or any idea why the match was canceled? Am I totally remembering this wrong??? -
Wrestling Observer Recap - 12/30/85
BruiserBrody replied to MikeCampbell's topic in Newsletter recaps
So a year after they signed up, ESPN already wanted them gone? Sort of baffling. I know in the 89 DVDs I have, Bischoff mentions the different start times, and oddly they showed new episodes for at least a week at one point in the year. -

Why would ESPN hurt its own ratings intentionally? (Re: AWA) -

2 things... Here in Green Bay, Gold Dust segments were banned from airing in syndication. This led to Dok Hendrix doing a localized promo telling the fans that Gold Dust was going to have a meeting with the station manager (This may have been around June 96 when RAW taped a month worth of shows in the Brown County Arena 2> There was a rumor floating around that Dustin told Vince he was willing to get breast implants to make the character that much more bizarre- any truth to that?

IIRC WWF magazine claimed the match went over 40 min in the review, only 4 times the actual duration

I'm pretty sure Mistico did it one time. Fray Tormeta too. It's pretty sad that it seemed that Sunny/Sable was more over than the match. Why did Mero go back with Perfect after Perfect turned on him early in the year? the turn is 3-4 weeks away

What do we know about what went down in Florda in 83-85?
BruiserBrody replied to Matt D's topic in Pro Wrestling
re: Graham's suicide...I saw a shoot (Mike Graham? Sullivan?? Haynes???) where they said Eddie had to shoot himself twice as his 1st shot he flinched and merely blew his jaw off. -

He does the recaps for his own personal notes and opinions. When Dave researches stuff he doesn't want Todd Martin's views...that being said I skip over his reviews every week
