    Oh man, this was SO promising, on every level, work, promos... It's really a shame it didn't happen.

    Michaels promo is decent, Landell's promo is awesome, although it comes off like a babyface promo a tad too much at points. Great promo nonetheless.

    I don't know if it's because I spent so much time watching ECW, WCW and SMW, but those Taker promos sound so damn corny now. Interesting is a way to put it. A match I never ever want to see again is more like it.

    Well, there you go. Talk about them Steiner boys if you want to, to me most of their most pimped stuff doesn't hold up at all (the Dome match, Luger/Sting 10 minutes spotfest, abusing a young japanese worker). I enjoyed them trading bombs with Doom and Williams/Gordy, and their best match is probably the Nasty Boys from Halloween Havoc 90 (a case of a mediocre team and a shitty team having one hell of a match for some bizarre reason). Fun for big spots, but that only goes so far with me.

    NOOOOOOOOO !!!!! Morton actually got me excited about this match, which probbaly would have been excellent at worst. All of this because of girls fighting in the back ? Fuck me....

    I didn't see that one coming. Some slopiness from Snow, but overall a fun little TV match. Man, Ricky Morton is great, he comes off as slighty whiny here, just enough to not sound like a heel but still kinda heelish. Rock'n Roll vs Thugs sounds great on paper.

    Gordy is already gone ? Another OD or what ? Except for his Raven match in ECW, Gordy post death is so sad to watch. I really don't care about Boo Bradley one way or another, just like I don't care about Dave Sullivan.

    That's some early footage of the Hardys for sure. They had to be 15 or something.

    Agreed. Both teams are greatly overrated. I haven't seen a Bulldog match in ages, but I went through a shitload of Steiners, and from pure memory I think the Bulldogs were quite the better team.

    I agree Cornette was overexposed too. I mean, I love him, but after a while you just can't get fresh anymore, no matter how great of a promo you are. And when the booking is getting stale, it doesn't help. Tommy Rich interview is good though, I like old pissed off heel Tommy Rich.

    Curtis was a trooper and one hell of a bumper. But I don't care for that angle at all. Maybe me not being familiar with USWA doesn't help. Hales isn't good at all.

    Holy shit this is pretty surreal, as they basically plug a UFC PPV. Gotta love Severn explaining the differences between UFC and wrestling. I was half expecting him to response "Welll, UFC is the real deal." Yep, I think we have found the source for Meltz MMA = wrestling school of thought. I still have a big time soft spot for Severn, I wish he had a bigger pro-wrestling career on a big stage.

    Oh, I enjoyed SMW quite a bit, but 1995 is really really dragging to me. I would say the company peaked from 1993 to mid 94, something like this.

    Hey, Tommy Rich ! Where has he been ? He kinda sucked in WCW the last time I saw him (a little less in the York Foundation than as a babyface), but he was fun as hell as a heel manager in ECW. Let's see how he'll fare here.

    Referee vs official. Boring stuff. Bad promos. Don't care for this. Booking is tired. Give me PG13 vs Rock'n Roll or something instead.

    Solid TV match. Brad looks absolutely great and pretty big in this setting. SMW does look like a dying promotion, and I don't see how its quality is better than ever at this point.
