I've been around some gay and lesbian couples, and this didn't really strike me. The stereotype that wants a lesbian couple to look like one butch and one more feminine woman is pretty accurate at times though. Been around single gay people too, and their taste really depend too. I know bears who only like bears, so in that case yea, it's a matter of looking alike. Know older gay men who only like young guys. Also been around bisexual people (and no, not like Orlando Jordan's gimmick), woman having sexual desire for other woman while being in couple with a guy, single guy hitting on both women and men... What I got from my life experience is that there is no rules on that matter. Yeah, I don't remember what species it was about, but I recently heard about homosexual behaviour in nature too. Yep. Was about to respond to that but John beat me to the punch. The "programm" thing is bullshit, and life will tell you otherwise. Met women who had been with shitloads of guys, and guys who are with the same girl since they are 20. That's a good point. The difference is, WCW treated them like a huge deal and huge stars that they were supposed to be. Diesel had been the WWF champion for nearly one year, main eventing every PPV, and Razor had been one of the most recognizable face of teh company working in upper mid card and winning the IC title 4 times at a time it meant something. Of course what put them over the edge was Hogan, and like you said, Austin could have been their "third man", but the problem is WWF didn't talk about Booker and DDP like they were major stars. Writing made the difference. WCW wanted to ake money with the NWO. WWF just wanted to feed their own ego with the Invasion.

Eaton had been a JTTS for years at this point, and was not even being featured on any of the two main WCW shows for 2-3 years at least. The WWF audience wouldn't even have recognized who the hell that guy was.

The WWE may not die before long, but I feel like dying out of boredom every time I tried to watch one of their shows in the last 3 or 4 years.

I don't know if it would do better business, but it certainly wouldn't do worse. They could do reasonnably good if they delivered a good alternative product without relying on washed up guys from the past and rejects from WWE. And I'm not saying doing good means doing good against WWE. Like I said, competing with Vince now is just not gonna happen. Doing good means running their business, delivering a good product that paying fans might enjoy, and not even thinking about WWE. That can be done. I'm not talking about being a competitive promotion to Vince, like you said, 1998 is not going to happen again.
