I'm fine with that as long as i get my Steamboat dates due to a deal made with Parv when this whole thing started. My whole December is based around him (TV's and Christmas.)

We aren't redrawing. It's not like there's a ton of high quality talent available in these yet to provoke a flurry of trades. There have been months where people draft a ton and some where they don't. If we randomize it again, it'll be unfair for those of us who are just now getting to the top of the list. And frankly, there's no reason to redraw. It works fine. This is a rule that does not need to be changed, especially at this point.

Good stuff. I think it may have something to do with me listening to this the day after last week's BTS and there was just a bit of a recap overload for me. -
Mid-South is on fire! JYD is the new Backlund for this world in that he's gonna have fun matches with a bunch of contenders (who can make him look great). Muraco is the definitive #2 champ for a promotion and what a way to step up with the Grand Wizard's replacement. I think Jones is actually a fantastic manager, he just was saddled with stiffs and a feud that never ended. Samoans also step up in a huge way and after the tag championship being held by a bunch of huge names lately, they prove that a great team will beat two singles anytime. And there's just a ton of fun names coming in. This feels more like a Mid-South type promotion than ever.

Right. If you don't see anyone you REALLY want right now, just know that there will be a bunch of debuts coming in 1984/1985 and that you can keep your spot as long as you want provided you don't pick.
-
All I've got right now is up to January. KrisZ does it even though he dropped out a few weeks ago. He's busy, but was able to do January. He might do February soon too, I don't know. We typically had 3 months to see before we finished out the year for September.
-
Just an update as two of our newest bookers are first and may not know the rules of this draft. Each month we draft any workers who are debuting or returning that month. If you draft, you move to the back of the line and can continue to draft workers as your turn comes up (and continue moving to the end of the line) until you are done. If you don't want to draft anyone this month, you can PASS and that means you keep your spot for the next month's draft. So, Memphis is up now and can pick or pass, followed by Florida, followed by JCP.

A long time. At least 6 months if not more?
-
Because the NWA wouldn't allow it. Shit would have hit the fan if the NWA was blindsided like this in real life.
-
If that's the holdup, then we should just be the NWA/AWA or something and have two champions like WWF was with NWA. Two touring champs who sometimes meet in huge matchups like the American League and National League do in the World Series. Seriously, why would Gordon Solie work for the NWA and AWA if they are separate units?
-
Then why even have NWA and AWA? What is the point of them? What is the point of leaving the NWA to go to the AWA? I'm not proposing that they are enemies because I'm working with multiple AWA members right now, but what is the point? The reason I reacted so strongly to the "defection" of Southeastern is because it seemed like a shot to start something. Georgia absorbed another NWA promotion and all of a sudden TBS is home to AWA and NWA is out in the cold? Why not just have us all be in the same group then?
-
Why are worrying about getting new promotions when we have 1 (probably 2) promotions dead and ready to be picked up? I'm more concerned about keeping the current participants active in this thing. But right now we are closer than ever to just having dedicated writers and no extra fluff. Let's just worry about our current members and forget about trying to attract new people. One of the reasons we are where we are is because we let 19 people start and half have dropped out. Keep it exclusive to people who are going to work at this.

I oppose an expansion draft.
-
It was like that when both were part of the NWA, but it makes no sense now. Not sure who should get him at this point.

Just my opinion, but I find the week in history segment to be my least favorite "round" since it basically boils down to the guys listing results for various cards. -
I just want to emphasize I'm not trying to kick Boricua or Wahoo out. I'm just trying to stave off any more dropouts in the near future. Boricua has been heavily involved and I know Wahoo checks in from time to time. I don't want anyone, especially those of us that post weekly, to drop out in the next 2-3 months. The role call last month was worthless if we're still getting dropouts this soon after. If we've dwindled down to the "in for the longhaul" guys, no matter how often they post, I'm fine.
-
Thanks. It has already been beneficial since I haven't had to do any real work throughout the week on this. Write up took 5-10 minutes and to do that 1-2 times a week, I'll be fine.
-
I'm tired of drop outs. If guys who fell behind are staying in indefinitely, fine. If they are doing wishful thinking, it's time to make a real decision. Grimmas and Kris were caught up all the way to the end and still folded with no warning. I don't want any more of that.

This 100 percent. Put aside the feelings about new talent and whatever. We started planning this in June. Shows began in July. It is now October. We should not be allowing the same "benefit of the doubt" people had when we started. Why be a part of something if you are never going to participate?

And I do have an issue with stuff like Fly in Brian and now possibly peach drop without announcing it or just telling one person in secret.
