Seth's promo last night on SD was fantastic. He's come a long way on the mic even since the beginning of the year. He finally seems to have found his voice. Strange this segment wasn't saved for Raw. It was great And the Rusev Lana stuff is gold. I know people are mad Rusev isn't a serious top guy but these two are great together in this angle

holy crap that Rockers promo is beyond incredible. Who says Shawn and Marty couldn't talk? Fantastic! "Why don't you make like a sheepherder and get the flock out of here!"
-
Bagwell is an interesting case. He's generally not well liked but he never really got a shot on top. He didn't have a rub to give during the MNW era because he never had the feel of an "established" guy. Even though he is sorta perceived that way. But after the neck injury he was quite over as a sympathetic face until they swerved him back heel. That probably was the best chance to do something with the guy. He had the look promoters love and at least at one time was quite over with the female audience. If he didn't get a shot the rest of the guys surely stood no chance

In a perfect world sans politics and Hogan and Nash not holding guys down who do you think would have been the biggest stars or tops guys out of the late 90s WCW midcard? Benoit is the obvious choice but he always seemed so out of place when working with Hogan and the rest of the NWO guys. It didn't happen often but when it did it was awkward and didn't have the right aesthetic feel. It wasn't necessarily his fault as WCW had such a caste system that certain guys just looked like they didn't belong at different levels Eddy could have hung with those guys on the mic and would have a made a damn good underdog against the top guys ala a DDP. Jericho a definite yes. Could see him adapting to the main event style, Could talk Can't really see a case for Malenko or Saturn. Raven? I could see it but he didn't really work a style that WCW main events featured Kidman? Bagwell? any others?

well they basically set up Austin v Lesnar for Mania next year
-
still the worst segment on WWE TV this calendar year. Shit
-
Dolph Ziggler, Neville, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, and Sheamus will compete in the Money in the Bank match. well Reigns is obviously winning unless they make some changes to that lineup
-
Owens v Cena rematch at MITB in 2 weeks
-
did Vince come down with another case of Diverticulitis? He can't be there right? Holy shit what a star making match for Owens

When did the world learn to stop worrying and love the Earthquake?
Strummer replied to BigBadMick's topic in Pro Wrestling
glad I'm not the only one that remembered the rumor he was going to come back in Spring/Summer of 98 and feud with Austin -
John Studd had a pretty long run in late 84 and most of 85
-
that last segment was straight out of 1998
-
Tamina is so terrible in the ring. She was out of position for every spot in that match. Her selling is also awful. Wow is she bad
-
The constant Rousey "will she or won't she work Mania ?" news is starting to become quite annoying. Maybe it's because I'm not a big MMA fan but I wish people would stop talking about it for awhile. It's become quite similar to all the Lesnar rumors before he came back in 2012. I understand why it's big and Rousey is charismatic as hell but wake me when a final decision is made
-
so that Paige promo on Smackdown? You know where she implied Tamina was a man? Yeesh I thought we were past that stuff in wrestling these days. Cringeworthy

Watching last night did Steph get her implants removed while she was gone? She was looking 99/2000 levels of normal size

That last segment went on forever. Good showcase for Ambrose I guess few other things. Bray once again goes over a popular upper midcarder. What top guy will he lose to in his next program? and have to love the way WWE books babyfaces. Brie goes right along and trusts Stephanie despite them having an ultra heated feud not even a full year ago. Why in the world would she trust her? Poor Brie is still the worst booked babyface in history. And she just turned a few weeks ago
-
Owens v Cena at the chamber. Pretty awesome
-
Yup they are going to do Steph v Brie again. You would think Brie should go over. Hopefully
-
Well it looks like they are going back to Steph v Brie. That didn't work out so well for Brie the first time
-
Lana is probably the most over babyface in the company now that Bryan is out. Her and Dolph should be a fun pairing although it looks like Rusev's days on top are over. Still looking forward to this program though

Already sick of Triple and Stephanie being back. It was a nice couple months
-
Announced for Raw John Cena open challenge Nikki Bella v Naomi New Day v Kidd and Cesaro with Xavier banned from ringside A Brat Wyatt match And the return of Stephanie to WWE programming after nearly 2 months away. No doubt they were delaying Kane's face turn to wait till Steph could come back to TV and scream at him. I expect that to go down tonight

Bray can beat all the upper midcarders and lower tier guys but as soon as he faces a top guy he chokes. To think he was scheduled to go over Bryan at Fastlane to build him up for Taker until they changed plans. Bryan technically never got revenge on him. He decisively won the Ambrose program. Yet another paradox in WWE booking
