  1. also the company was unhappy on how long the show went and will make all efforts to make sure it lasts no longer than 3 hours next year. And Vince apparently didn't like Madusa swearing and Shawn going off script
  2. so Dave confirmed the PWI report that Eva Marie was originally supposed to host the event. Has to be a typical Kevin Dunn "get the old guys outta here and replace em with a pretty girl" deal. Maybe they were filming an angle for total divas and had no intention of using her
  3. with Kane presumably turning babyface does anyone think that he will be the placeholder challenger for Rollins over the Spring/Summer PPVs until the inevitable Rollins/Reigns/Lesnar match at Summerslam? I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that was the plan. Wyatt will either be feuding with Reigns or Orton (has to be one of these two he's referring to in the promos) My initial guess is Orton and Wyatt costs him the match against Rollins at the PPV when he seemingly has the title won. Although I wouldn't be surprised if he's going to be programmed with Reigns although him causing Roman to lose to Big Show would be a disaster (mob hit?) So either Orton or Reigns is going to be directionless coming out of ER unless they continue with their current programs (yuck) a Cena/Bryan unification match seems logical for Summerslam but again the gut tells me Vince still wants his long term Bryan/Sheamus program so Cena gets stuck with Show or Kane (if he doesn't turn). Or they reverse it with Bryan/Show and Cena/Sheamus. Same shit basically so yeah I'm not exactly psyched about the next 4 months of programming
  4. My parents buying me my first LJN action figures. Probably late 1986 It was Hogan and Studd. I can remember begging them to let me bring them with us on a trip to visit my uncle in Binghamton. I didn't want to let go of them. I was so proud finding AWA and WCW action figures in a local toy store. Steve Regal, The Fabulous Ones and the Road Warriors were the AWA ones I remember. Remco! This was probably 86/87. Finding WCW ones in 1990. Sid, Sting, Arn, Flair, Windham
  5. There has to be a reason Steph isn't selling any fear for any of the wrestlers. Ego can't be the only motivation. Again this is the same person who was humiliated on wwe TV practically every week for three straight years
  6. To be honest I think Steph has been slightly overrated the last two years. She has been real good but I don't see the apparent all time greatness many have talked about. But then I always thought she was underrated 10-15 years ago when she was mostly disliked. As of right now she has turn the channel heat with me, along with Hunter. Looks like she will be the on screen figurehead of the company going forward so she probably has a chance to surpass Vince in the eyes of many. As an aside if I were Steph I would think about getting a restraining order against Geno Mrosko. I always kinda iked Shane. Not as a worker per say but as the wanna be tough guy rich punk. He made me laugh a lot in 98 and 99 Vince was always great although the initial Austin stuff lasted way too long. He has a habit of knowing when to leave the air when he's becoming stale. Of course he has the advantage of the broadcast years which coincided with my childhood. As far as real life I couldn't disagree more with his philosophies on the business and he is annoying when talking to the media
  7. the constant replays of earlier segments on Raw. Constant cuts to the announce booth in general Triple H and Stephanie are starting to garner "Change the Channel" heat with me. The Authority angle should have been blown off at Survivor Series. This is just a pure ego trip for both of them now. Nothing more. Vince McMahon saying anything was fair game in the Austin interviews and then getting mad at him for asking tough questions. Pretty much anything Vince says in public now pisses me off. Kane and Big Show still being protected in the booking and um pretty much any non-Keith commentary at Cageside Seats
  8. Bryan v Barrett for IC title at Extreme Rules announced by WWE on twitter
  9. One week later and the mania momentum is basically gone
  10. Reigns already beat him clean tonight. I guess the gimmick match will be the "sell"
  11. They already advertised Bryan for SD tomorrow though
  12. Bryan not even on the show. I guess SD really is his only home
  13. Definitely feels like a different tone. I'm sure we will be back to the usual tired formula next week
  14. Oh God they are turning Kane babyface. This company
  15. The Authority on vacation again. They sure get a lot of sweet time off. Had Thanksgiving/Christmas now Easter/Passover
  16. Yeah Meltz says they want Rousey v Steph. It's basically up to Dana as Rousey and the company have already signed off. I'm sure people will love the inevitable Steph training videos and her squashing the lower tier divas with MMA moves but I can't imagine how much airtime this will get. The fact that Steph and HHH will be pushed ever harder for the next year might be enough for me to tune out if only for a little while
  17. I guess Ziggler is considered a "small guy" now. Okay. Looks like it will be Bryan v Barrett v Sheamus v Dolph at the PPV That was a terrific promo from Reigns. Wonder when they will have him start cutting them in front of the crowds?
  18. this is from Cageside Rumor Roundup so who knows: so basically they are hoping to do something with her in a year?
  19. MITB is only 2 months away and I can't think of a sure fire logical choice to get the case. The mid card and upper midcarders have been treated so terribly that no one has any momentum going in. I assume Rusev is a possibility. Ambrose a long shot. Or maybe they have Reigns win it and give Rollins a taste of hs own medicine type deal
  20. I don't even mean this as a criticism really but Dave's reaction to the Rousey/Steph/Rock/HHH stuff seemed to be the equivalent of him experiencing the birth of one of his children. He just seems so damn happy over it. And he has a full year to tell us how great it is going to be
  21. Strummer

    Rusev

  22. If HHH and Steph are going to be pushed as the top stars for the next year I think I'll have to tune out for at least large chunks of programming. If you watch wwe programming every week you can't help but think loss's theory is true
  23. Other than the Brock stuff that was quite boring
