apparently Sasha has a "significant" head injury that she sustained at a house show last week. Feel so bad for her. Have to think if she isn't better in a month or two they are going to to Charlotte/Steph at Summerslam. Unless they call Bayley up or something
-
Man I hope they are not building to a Steph/Charlotte match this summer so Steph can have the belt when her book comes out. Dave has said that Sasha/Charlotte is the plan for this summer and I hope they stay course there
-
So the way he's been booked the last three weeks Flair has to be getting written off TV, right? I guess they think Charlotte is good enough to stand alone now. Anything less than a Summer long program with Sasha would be foolish at this point
-
Steph just announced on twitter she has signed a book deal to write a memoir about her life. Oh man that could be real interesting if she talks about the obvious backstage things we know about And can you imagine the push this will get on wwe TV when it comes out And it comes out Sept 27 of this year. Maybe this is why they were teasing a true face turn last week

PWI reporting Seth Rollins will be returning on the June 6th Raw. Question is will they feud him with Reigns right away or will he be in the Steph/Shane ordeal
-
I do think it's possible for the promotional work and creative to coordinate with each other. Remember the poster for Summerslam 07 featured the Jackass guys on it which was the plan for that show. Then the Benoit tragedies happened and they backed out. So I think in specific cases the two departments can work together
-
Yeah, I remember Stephanie being on the Elimination Chamber 2014 poster for some reason
-
well they did get the main event slot on Raw. Um,, yeah no idea
-
so this is like 5 days late or whatever but for the first time I might be into this McMahon stuff. Steph acted like a total face on Monday. Not an insincere just fucking around face but a full blown straight forward babyface. I really hope they stay with this. *Shane* being the one to turn on her would certainly be a fresh take instead of the predictability of Steph finally snapping and having her turn. It would be a tough sell for the crowds to cheer Stephanie all of a sudden (if this was 13-15 years ago all it would take was a short skirt and a bunch of cleavage shots but yeah not now) but I don't think it's impossible. I know this going to look foolish when she's back as a heel on Monday but I really hope if they are set on doing this they don't go the obvious route.

word is that Paige and Del Rio are an item. Can't wait for the next season of Total Divas
-
Christian has been released from his performer's contract. Yeah I guess we're not getting season 2 of the E & C Show I guess his network show contract is separate so he might still be around
-
He'd been with the company since 1983! My favorite moment of his career is him attacking Gorilla Monsoon on an episode of Primetime in early 1989. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard watching wrestling
-
Barrios said it during the conference call
-
WM did nearly 1 million traditional PPV buys. With no Cena on the card. Probably have to admit Shane/Taker drew that number
-
The AJ and Roman stuff has been fantastic. Maybe they can go one more month with it. Hate to see it end
-
And there's Dana Brooke's debut

Your Favourite Episode of Wrestling Television
Strummer replied to JaymeFuture's topic in Pro Wrestling
The 6/12/97 episode of Hardcore TV. Dreamer finally beats Raven and Lawler debuts in ECW. Watched it on tape that whole summer and had it on tape till about the middle of last decade. The pinnacle of ECW TV IMO -
Separate But Equal?: The ultimate goal of Feminism in wrestling
Strummer replied to Luchaundead's topic in Pro Wrestling
He was a superfan in the 80s. The character debuted in 2004. So someone who had been with the company for a long time had to come up with that name for Dinsmore. Vince, Patterson, Dunn *maybe* Steph. That irked me when they did that -
Sandow has been released
-
Alex Riley and Hornswoggle have been released. More expected today obviously

funny I was just watching a Martin Scorcese interview from about 20 years ago and he revealed that after the gritty and realistic films of the 70s he had trouble getting work in the early 80s. Studio heads wanted to shift away from harsh reality and towards a less cynical, more "ideal" reality. Francis Coppola and Michael Cimmino and other directors went through the same thing. I was born in 79 so I was pretty much raised on this 80s and early 90s culture which is kind of humorous to me in retrospect. It felt like simpler times but I guess that was just a false reality being propagated.

man that is a real impressive list. I have a feeling Rollins will initially be involved in the Shane/Stephanie stuff so I don't see that happening any time soon. I think Roman/Brock will main event Summerslam. Or they could go back to Brock/Bray at that show and do Cena/Reigns. Reigns/Ambrose would be great but it's a tough sell right now. They'd have to do a few months worth of rehab (at least) with Ambrose to pull it off. It really depends which stars are involved in the McMahon angle. The big stars that aren't involved with that will probably be with Reigns. AJ will probably be done with Roman by June when all the big names return. And with the way they think you can't discount a program with Orton either

this sounds *fantastic*
