  1. Sleazy isn't the word. Fun show so check it out~!
  2. "The Bus Tour" is an extra feature on it. Too funny for words that inclusion.
  3. At the end of the day no full indy matches were included: http://www.silvervision.co.uk/products/CM-...ay-2-Discs.html
  4. Glad Tammy is getting after all the no show/unable to perform stories on the Indies. Anyway this sounds so sleazy:
  5. Are You Serious just declared war on us the Internet Wrestling Community.
  6. WWE made someone who probably won't make it past reality TV screening into a reality TV star it seems.
  7. Irelander with the amount of sports knowledge you could write on the back of a postage stamp here but even I gasped at Dave's reply to a thread asking who Wrestling's Joe Paterno was:
  8. I think they have been both fair and legally prudent given what happened with Dawn Marie. I don't know guys. For lay person facing the outside world after suffering a still birth is hard enough. But her pregnancy was announced on WWE and then the outcome of it was on TMZ & everywhere else. Even before all this happened we spoke about how firey/passionate she is given what happened to her in TNA. Now imagine some prick Wrestling fan saying something cruel to her at a show about her pregnancy. Law of the street says the guy should get his ass handed to him but this isn't the street it is a Public Company run by a family with political aspirations. Even if she turns in the other direction when harassed those sorts of comments would really hurt anyone's feelings let alone someone of a vulnerable disposition. The situation really sucks and there isn't really a handbook for it given how specific of an industry wrestling is and the confluence of factors here: being a celebrity, social media, misogyny in Wrestling, mental health in an unhealthy business etc.
  9. I think WWE just fulfilled their obligations to her as an employer (they seem to have treated her so far as an employee instead of an independent contractor) when July rolled round. Now it is time for them to part ways. God bless her for everything she has gone though but I think she isn't made for WWE.
  10. Mike Johnson clears things up on Finlay:
  11. Well my "talking point" is that Cornette knows MMA is big as he sees Dave devote vast sections to it but he never actually reads/understands it. I said that months ago as ROH doesn't convey any knowledge of what made UFC/MMA a success: Youth branding and coolness. It is very hard to make a case Cornette's booking isn't influenced by it as one of his main programs was based around a beef of the choice of training partners. In that Guest Booker shoot I referred to earlier Cornette is wearing one of those terrible Affliction shirts. Meltzer years ago noted with glee in the Observer that Cornette was filling up a big ledger with new finishes inspired by MMA.
  12. For the sake of the thread Austin Aries was the one who coined that term in a never expanded upon Tweet.
  13. Who said what? Elgin: Sinclair, Joe Koff and such like. They want the MMA dollar not the Wrestling one it seems.
  14. But unfortunately from the outset it was pretty much stated that Jim Cornette would be the last person out the door due his friend Gary Juster brokering the deal between Sinclair and Cary Silkin.
  15. Probably the only forum this hasn't been posted on: A bunch of ROH wrestlers have shown discontent with Sinclair/ROH today on Twitter mostly in a cryptic or low key way.
  16. Seen Bash at the Beach 1992 years and years ago at this stage. Over on the Torch site Wade is putting up old radio shows and newsletters from era. The latest one was a review of Bash at the Beach 1992. Ending the PPV with a Steiners/Gordy & Williams 30 minute time limit draw instead of Rude/Steamboat or Sting/Cactus was absolute insanity additionally it bore no relationship to the TV build at all. It was kind of quaint hearing Wade, Bruce and the callers complain about a bikini contest being on a Wrestling show too.
  17. Posting this here in case no someone didnt read the Wednesday Wrestling Observer news update: Sounds pretty awesome.
  18. The Review A Raw podcast did a funny bit/rant on that. Just ripping it for the laziest, most burnt out thing WWE Creative have ever came up with.
  19. Mark Madden wrote his usual lazy article on Wrestlezone full of trolling bluster which caused somewhat of a stir on Twitter among ROH fans & roster members. The backlash inspired one of his better columns on Wrestlezone dealing with the criticism he received. Mark slays those who played into his hands and makes a pretty decent overall point. http://www.wrestlezone.com/editorials/2572...x-your-problems
  20. Not all people have access to it here.
  21. Most likely X Division wrestlers for the next TNA PPV and a TNA team in King of Trios.
  22. Kyle O'Reilly from ROH was on the PWTorch podcast this week and came out with a tit bit straight out of Jim Herd era WCW. Kyle spoke about how Cornette asked Sinclair why they didn't buy advertising during Raw for the markets they are promoting shows in. Sinclair said ROH viewers don't watch RAW as only kids watch Raw. As much as people talk about the booking they seem to be fucked at a corporate level. Bare in mind this comment pre-dated Cena's joke comment on Raw this week about the only people who watch Raw are nine year olds in a retort to Chris Jericho who called Cena's material lame.
