Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired December 26, 1992 Clairfield School, Clairfield, TN Recap of what led to the impromptu Heavenly Bodies vs Rock & Roll Express match from last week. Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle) vs Rock & Roll Express - Robert Gibson decks Cornette and the Stud Stable come out to check on him. They throw his tennis racket in the ring for the Bodies to use but as Tom Prichard is picking it up, Gibson hits him with a sunset flip for the pin. Match was nothing special but stokes the fire for the three team feud. INT: Tony Anthony, Jim Cornette Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden (w/ Dutch Mantel) vs Daniel Little Bear & Reno Riggins - Jim Cornette joins them on commentary for this bout, although he is a bit upset as all of those bodybuilding supplements he’s been taking to improve his massive physique have given him a blocked up nose, have raised his blood pressure and his body is all out of whack. He says that he doesn’t remember asking for any assistance last week when his Heavenly Bodies were facing the Rock & Roll Express, and they don’t need any help as they can take care of themselves. INT: Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden & Dutch Mantel - Golden says that they saw that the Heavenly Bodies weren’t getting the job done so they came out to help and the gratitude they get is Jim Cornette saying they didn’t need any help! Fuller says that next time they might end up doing something that Cornette doesn’t like and that they’re coming after the Rock & Roll Express. Tracey Smothers vs Dark Secret INT: Tracey Smothers - he wants to get in the winner takes all TV tournament and wants to prove to himself and everyone that he is here to stay. INT: Bob Armstrong - says he’s been trying to find the SMW Heavyweight title to return it to the Dirty White Boy but has been having no luck. He's asked Tim Horner about it but he doesn't know where it is, he's looked in the dressing room, he's doing the best he can but just can't find it. INT: Tim Horner - from Horner’s home and he is accompanied by a young lad called J.T. who is holding the belt. J.T. has been sick and Horner wanted to win the belt for him, this lad has made Horner know what is important in life etc. (Horner lays it on thick here even starting to cry). Horner says that he knows in his heart that he is the SMW champion and the Commissioner's office has said that he has to give the belt back. Whether he does or he doesn't, he is the champion and the fans know he is too. I didn't know what to make of this. The whole angle of Horner stealing the belt has reeked of desperation and then topping it off with the exploitation of a seriously sick child? Why on earth is a face stealing the title? Odd, uncomfortable, ass backwards booking. Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) vs Paul Lee INT: Tony Anthony & Ron Wright & Paul Orndorff - Anthony says that he’s been robbed, that there is a thief in Smoky Mountain Wrestling and his name is Tim Horner. If he was any kind of man he would come out right now with his belt and hand it back, but he won’t because he’s gutless. Wright says that his heart is acting up again, he’s got gout and is worrying himself sick over these matches that are coming up. Orndorff says that Ron Garvin and Tim Horner are one and the same, they’re both cowards and come Christmas Chaos they’re going to put so much pain and agony in their lives that they’ll wish they’d never stepped in the ring. Kevin Sullivan (w/ The Nightstalker) vs Dixie Dy-No-Mite - Sullivan gets DQ’d after choking Dy-No-Mite with a coat hanger which he then uses to drag Dixie out of the arena to the back. INT: Tracey Smothers, Tim Horner INT: Kevin Sullivan & The Nightstalker - The Nightstalker says that Commissioner Armstrong is sadly mistaken if he thinks anyone can stop ‘The Master’ Kevin Sullivan and himself. Armstrong interrupts them and tells Sullivan it’s the last time he’ll put a coat hanger around anybody’s neck and if the Mongolian Stomper can’t do it, if Brian Lee can’t do it, he’s going to find someone to get him out of Smoky Mountain for good. Sullivan starts goading Armstrong and says that it will be a cold day in hell when they get rid of The Nightstalker and him. Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired December 19, 1992 Clairfield School, Clairfield, TN Paul Orndorff (w/ Tony Anthony & Ron Wright) vs Reno Riggins - good little bout and Orndorff rolls through on a Riggins crossbody off the top and hooks the trunks for the pin. INT: Ron Wright & Tony Anthony & Paul Orndorff - Wright says that they took the belt and now won’t give it back. He says that they need to get Bob Armstrong out here and get some ruling so the belt can be back where it belongs. Dirty White Boy says how you can never find Bob Armstrong when you need and he wants his belt back. There’s a thief in Smoky Mountain Wrestling and his name is Tim Horner! Armstrong comes out and Anthony tells him that he wants his belt back now, “You’re the Commissioner, so do something about it!” Armstrong says that he’s looked for the belt and can’t find it and has asked Tim Horner but he doesn’t know where it is either. He says that he tried to have a singles match between then to find out who the best man was and the winner of that would get the belt, however as Christmas Chaos is coming and they have a tag match, he is going to put the Dirty White Boy’s belt up in that. Anthony says that he can’t do that as it’s like a handicap match and their opponents have nothing to lose. Orndorff tells Armstrong that he is a fair man “so do the right thing,” he then decides that as it is a tag team match, the belt will only be on the line for the first 30 minutes. Orndorff goes crazy saying he wants his robe back whilst Anthony wants his title belt back. INT: Tony Anthony, Jim Cornette Personality Profile: Tracey Smothers INT: Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - Fuller questions Dutch Mantel as he said things were going to turn around, that they were going to get a title match and that he was going to see to it personally, but nothing has happened and they are still in the same boat? Golden claims that they're afraid to give them a title shot as they know what will happen. Dutch says that there is some political maneuvering, some back stabbing, some insider stuff going on! He doesn't quite understand it, but his investigation is continuing. Fuller then says that he doesn't care who they wrestle and that they should be the champions now, but as soon as they get that title shot that is exactly what they will be. Recap of Kevin Sullivan massacring Brian Lee with the spike INT: Brian Lee - says Christmas Chaos is one week away and while the doctors have told him that his internal injuries haven’t healed, he knows that he’s fine and when he gets his hands on Kevin Sullivan it’s going to be all over. Recap of Kevin Sullivan vs Mongolian Stomper from Johnson City, TN INT: Bob Armstrong - says that Brian Lee is coming back too soon and against the doctor’s advice. For that reason, Smoky Mountain Wrestling cannot be responsible for the match at Christmas Chaos and that is why they’ll have to non-sanction it. The Nightstalker (w/ Kevin Sullivan) vs Daniel Little Bear - Nightstalker throws Little Bear outside to Sullivan who starts attacking him and gets the Stalker DQ’d. They both double team on him before the Nightstalker hits a powerbomb and they leave him lying in the ring. INT: Kevin Sullivan & The Nightstalker - Sullivan tells Brian Lee to come on down and if the Mongolian Stomper has crazy thoughts he knows a great psychologist. He did wonders for him, he’ll send him his card. INT: Sawyer Brown - they say that they are behind Brian Lee and tell Kevin Sullivan that he will be back Down & Dirty w/ Tim Horner - opens with a recap of Tony Anthony vs Tim Horner from last week. Dutch asks Horner where the SMW Heavyweight title belt is and he says that he doesn’t know. Dutch says that he left with the belt so he must know, but Horner continues to stonewall him. Dutch then asks him about the upcoming tag team match at Christmas Chaos and enquires about where Ron Garvin is? Horner says that he’s not here today, he’s hunting in the woods in Virginia. Tony Anthony and Paul Orndorff come out and Anthony says that he wants his belt back, Horner stole it, and he wants it now! Mantel casually lets Orndorff and the Dirty White Boy know that Garvin isn’t here today, Anthony swings at him, he ducks the punch, crawls through Orndorff’s legs and out of the ring while Anthony screams that he wants his belt. INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies - Cornette is in his workout gear and Stan tells everyone to feast their eyes on the best conditioned, most finely tuned athlete in the world (just as Cornette starts coughing). Cora Evans from Bodyshaping is writing him love letters, while Joe Weider wants him on the cover of Muscle Mag next week! Cornette does some shadow boxing and appears to be tiring himself out. He says that he is going to be training until Christmas Chaos comes around, is on a diet of Twinkies white chocolate covered fudge Oreos and is stocking up on carbohydrates. He attempts to tear a phone book in half, struggles, so rips a few pages out and claims he’s done it. He then tells the Rock & Roll Express that they won’t know what’s hit them. Rock & Roll Express vs Paul Lee & Dark Secret INT: Rock & Roll Express - Ricky Morton tells Jim Cornette that the worst mistake he’ll ever make is stepping in the ring with them. Cornette then comes out to the ring and challenges Morton saying that he is in the best shape of his life and he’ll hit him so hard his grandkids will be dizzy. Morton accepts but it is all a plan as the Heavenly Bodies jump Robert Gibson, and with his back turned, Cornette clocks Morton with a coke can that’s been wrapped in his towel. INT: Tracey Smothers, Tim Horner INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies & Killer Kyle - Cornette says that he’s heard of athletes having a problem with coke in the past, but Morton has got rocks in his head He claims again that he is in the best shape of his life, has just beat up both of the Rock & Rolls by himself and is afraid he’s going to kill someone with his bare hands he’s that tough! Stan says that he’s so proud of Cornette and in one month he’s gone from 150 pushups to 2,000. Cornette demonstrates by doing women’s pushups, he sees the Rock & Roll Express coming, ups and flees and they attack the Bodies which leads to an impromptu match. Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle) vs Rock & Roll Express - the show goes off the air with the match in progress Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired December 12, 1992 Clairfield School, Clairfield, TN Dixie Dy-No-Mite vs Dark Secret (Brian Armstrong) INT: Rock & Roll Express - Ricky Morton says that they asked for this title match at Christmas Chaos with Jim Cornette on the Heavenly Bodies side because he is always out there with that tennis racket. This way they can keep an eye on him in the ring, and can also hit him and not get disqualified. INT: Tracey Smothers INT: Bob Armstrong - despite his objections, Kevin Sullivan will be allowed to wrestle on television. He has received a letter from Sullivan’s lawyer which states that they feel their client, Mr Sullivan, is being wrongfully denied his rightful and lawful chance to further his career through TV exposure. The lawyers also state if this ban is due to disciplinary action, please forward the name and details of all wrestlers fined or suspended in the past year, reasons for doing so, and if Mr Sullivan was barred from TV for rule infraction, please show where all others who broke the rules were banned also. Failure to do so we will consider as discrimination and seek recourse in federal court. If he was barred due to the psychological counselling he has undergone, we will consider it a violation of his civil rights. Armstrong says that this is the lowest form of abuse and its people abusing the legal system, however the Stomper likes abuse and Brian Lee is ready to abuse Kevin Sullivan after what he did to him. They then recap Armstrong’s interview from Thanksgiving Thunder where the Stomper goes to attack Sullivan in his dressing room. This is followed by a Brian Lee interview, who says that the doctors are going to release him in six weeks, however when Bob Armstrong told him about Christmas Chaos and that Kevin Sullivan is going to be there, he told him if Sullivan is going to be there, so is Brian Lee. Armstrong closes the segment by saying that the SMW Board of Directors have been on to his case and the Mongolian Stomper & Brian Lee vs Kevin Sullivan & The Nightstalker match at Christmas Chaos will be non-sanctioned. INT: Tim Horner & Tracey Smothers Kevin Sullivan (w/ The Nightstalker) vs Jeff Daniels - Sullivan brutalizes Daniels and busts him open. The Nightstalker eventually gets involved in the action and Sullivan is DQ’d. INT: Kevin Sullivan & The Nightstalker - Bob Caudle says that Kevin Sullivan being allowed back in the ring to wrestle on TV has got to be a miscarriage of justice. Sullivan says that he has lawyers and everybody gets a chance in this country, even Charlie Manson had a lawyer. Smoky Mountain Wrestling and Commissioner Armstrong can’t keep him and his followers from doing what they want. He says that he hurt Brian Lee one time but it was an accident he didn’t meant to keep stabbing and stabbing him with the spike, but he can do anything he wants because he has lawyers, he has great lawyers, and what a country they live in when you can do anything you want if you’ve got great lawyers! Down & Dirty w/ Ron Wright & Tony Anthony & Paul Orndorff - Wright says that Christmas Chaos is coming but he’s never been so sick of a holiday in his life! He’s supposed to be getting 16-18 hours rest a day and wants to tell all those snotty nosed kids in his neighbourhood to quit singing those Christmas carols, aggravating him and keeping him awake all hours of the day and night. He says that he’s liable to have a heart attack if they don’t slow down on it. Christmas Chaos, bah humbug! Anthony says that Tim Horner won’t make it to Christmas Chaos as he’s got a shot at his SMW title today and that means more to him than anything. Orndorff doesn’t think that Horner is man enough to take the title from the Dirty White Boy and says that come Christmas Chaos they’ll show them what a true legend team is all about. INT: Tim Horner - says that Christmas Chaos will be the icing on the cake but today he is winning the SMW title Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle) vs Daniel Little Bear & Reno Riggins INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies - Cornette says that the Rock & Roll Express have been to Bob Armstrong to get a handicap match against them at Christmas Chaos. He insists that he isn't a wrestler, but the Rock & Rolls want to get their hands on him and to get a kick out of seeing him being killed! He says that he is going into training that Richard Simmonds is a very good friend of his and he is going to get into the best shape of his life. The Heavenly Bodies will keep the Rock & Rolls away from him and then they'll get their titles back. Prichard tells the Stud Stable to stay out of their business as he would hate anything to jeopardize their friendship, while Lane says that they need to stay in their local, regional matches and leave the main event stuff to them. Cornette closes by saying that next time we see him he'll be ripped to shreds and that everything about him will be hard! Tim Horner vs Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) - Horner atomic drops Anthony into the turnbuckle, he bounces back and collides with Horner and they both fall to the canvas. Horner falls on top of the Dirty White Boy and as Mark Curtis counts the pin, Ron Wright puts Anthony’s foot on the ropes. Curtis hands Horner the belt and he starts to celebrate before appearing to have second thoughts after seeing the foot on the ropes. Horner leaves with the title whilst Curtis still appears to be undecided over what the result is. Very hokey stuff again with Curtis. INT: Tony Anthony, Jim Cornette & Tom Prichard INT: Bob Armstrong - he has Jeff Daniels with him and tells Kevin Sullivan that Daniels is a young man just trying to make a living for himself, but he has a gash in his forehead that will take 15-20 stitches to close as well as a concussion and they’re going to find a way to get rid of Sullivan for good. He then says that he is very happy that Tim Horner got the three count in the previous match, but the Dirty White Boy’s foot was on the ropes. Whether Ron Wright put it there or not, rules are rules, and he’s going to have to ask Tim to give the belt back to the Dirty White Boy. Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired December 5, 1992 ‘Thanksgiving Thunder Tour Special’ Battle Royal (jip, from Johnson City, TN) INT: Tracey Smothers (from Johnson City, TN) INT: Tim Horner, Rock & Roll Express Handicap Match: Paul Orndorff vs Danny Davis & Ron Garvin (jip, from Johnson City, TN) - Garvin gets the pin but again piledrives Davis after the match and as he is about to do the same to Garvin, Tim Horner runs down to make the save. INT: Paul Orndorff & Tony Anthony - backstage interview. Brian Matthews can’t believe that Orndorff would interfere and help Dirty White Boy beat Horner, but Orndorff states that’s a blatant lie. “Do you think the Dirty White Boy needs his help to beat Horner?” He tells Matthews that he needs glasses just like Bob Armstrong needs glasses, and the only thing that matter is that the Dirty White Boy still has the belt. Anthony says that he beat Horner 1-2-3 all by himself and he just can’t handle that. He says that if Ron Garvin or anyone else wants to stand beside him that’s fine as he has Paul Orndorff stood beside him. INT: Tim Horner & Ron Garvin - Horner says that every time he goes up against the Dirty White Boy there is some kind of interference and now it’s Paul Orndorff. He asks Garvin if he wants to stand by him as if anyone knows anything about Orndorff it is him. Garvin tells Horner that he will but he’s got to take it easy, stay cool and drive them nuts that way. Special Report on the tag team situation between the Heavenly Bodies and the Rock & Roll Express Hospital Elimination Match: Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Rock & Roll Express (jip, from Harlan, KY) - this match took place a few days prior to the Thanksgiving Thunder tour. Unfortunately the Smoky Mountain Wrestling cameras weren't present at the event, but a fan using a camcorder in the bleachers was willing to give them their tape. With Stan Lane and Robert Gibson already eliminated through being busted open, Jim Cornette enters the ring and is about to hit Rocky Morton with the tennis racket when Gibson jumps in the ring and steals it off him. Gibson then hits Prichard in the head with it, splitting him open and the Express win the belts. The Bodies and Cornette go to work on the Rock & Rolls after the match, with Cornette and his tennis racket keeping everyone at bay and from getting in the ring to help. As more wrestlers come out, so does Killer Kyle, to help his manager, and it turns into a pretty wild and crazy scene. Falls Count Anywhere Match: Rock & Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) (jip, from Hazard, KY) - this was the first match of the Thanksgiving Thunder tour. Lane has Gibson in a sleeper inside the ring and this enables Cornette to use the ether soaked towel on Morton, who is outside the ring and outside the vantage point of Mark Curtis. Morton is knocked out from the ether and Prichard covers him on the arena floor for the win and title change. Les Thatcher informs us that there is no footage of the second match in the tour, the Texas Death match from Welch, WV, however the Rock & Roll Express defeated the Bodies in the tenth fall to become the new champions. Street Fight: Rock & Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) (jip, from Johnson City, TN) - the footage starts just before Cornette takes a great punch from Morton. Corny uses the tennis racket to the throat of Morton, before they tie him to the ropes and bust him open. In the ring the Bodies double team Gibson before one of the ring attendants eventually cut Morton free (why is the attendant getting involved?). The Bodies 'bag' Gibson attempting to suffocate him and Morton with a chair makes the save. These are some ultra conservative hands up chair shots, but with what we know now, no issue on my part with that. The Rock & Rolls bring a table in to the ring and both Bodies get whipped into it. Cornette throws his tennis racket in and as Lane is about to hit Gibson with it, he kicks him in the mid-section and snatches it off him. Gibson backs Cornette up but Prichard knees Gibson in the back and as Cornette holds him, Prichard goes for the clothesline but Gibson ducks and he nails Cornette instead. Double dropkick on Prichard, but Lane makes the save and breaks up the pin. Gibson goes back to attacking Cornette, Prichard loads the boot, kicks Gibson in the head and gets the pin for another title change. From what aired on TV I thought this was an awesome brawl. My main criticism is that Cornette was far too involved in the match and it was almost as though this was a handicap match as opposed to a straight tag. Barbed Wire Cage Match: Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Rock & Roll Express (jip, from Knoxville, TN) - Prichard powders Gibson and the Bodies double team Morton. Gibson eventually gets his bearings back then gets hold of a chain and starts to unload on Prichard. Cornette throws an ether soaked towel into the cage to Lane but Morton kicks it out of his hands. The towel ends on Stanfield's head and Morton rolls him up for the pin whilst Gibson sprays the ether at Prichard for the fourth title change in four days. INT: Rock & Roll Express - they say that in the past two weeks they’ve been the tag team champions on three occasions, but there’s one thing left they have to do. Through every match they’ve had with the Heavenly Bodies, it’s always been Jim Cornette sticking his nose in where it doesn’t belong. It’s not going to be over until they get their hands on him, which is why they have asked for a handicap match with Cornette on the Bodies side and with their tag titles on the line. INT: Bob Armstrong - he announces that this Christmas they will be running an event called Christmas Chaos as a special thank you to all the fans for supporting them this year. He then says that the promised the Stud Stable a match and title shot against the Heavenly Bodies last week but it’s not his fault that they’re no longer the champions, however he has signed a match between the teams for 12/12. Down & Dirty w/ Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies - Dutch asks Cornette to give him some comments about the upcoming Christmas Chaos match and he says that it was bad enough that the Rock & Roll Express ripped them off for the belts, but now they've gone to Bob Armstrong requesting a 3 on 2 handicap match. They've got to be crazy as there is no way that they can beat Stan and Tom together, much less with a man of his caliber in the ring. However he doesn't want to get in the ring; he's afraid that he may hurt them and get arrested, it's not that he's scared. He is also upset that Armstrong has signed a match between them and the Stud Stable where they were to defend the title belts against them, but has invited his good friends Robert Fuller and Jimmy Golden to join them. Cornette says that Armstrong set this up to try and cause trouble between them, but he knows that it's not going to work. He says that as they are no longer the champions there is no point in having the match as it would just be a waste of time. Robert Fuller says that there is no point in getting the Commissioner mad, let’s go ahead and have the match and find out who the number one contender is. Stanfield tells the Studs that even though they haven't had the national exposure that they have, he's admired them for a long time because they have been on top in the local small promotions and it would be a pleasure to wrestle them. Prichard says that if they are to have the match he knows it will be a good clean bout as the Bodies won't break the rules and he knows that they won't break them either. Cornette says that they live by sportsmanship and if they have the match that is what's going to take place, it's just a shame that Dutch won't be there to witness it. Dutch responds and says that he will be there as he is an associate member of the Stud Stable as you can see by his jacket. Cornette is a bit taken back by this and tells him he's admired him for years, but that he's taking too much on and to just stick to his commentary as he's doing great and that Bob Caudle would be nothing without him. Dutch states that he will be right across the ring from him and the Bodies and Cornette reluctantly offer their hands to the Stud Stable. Kevin Sullivan vs Mongolian Stomper (from Johnson City, TN) - The Stomper has the Shinnonamake sleeper on Sullivan when the Nightstalker interferes for the DQ. Bobby Fulton, Robbie Eagle, Dixie Dy-No-Mite and Tracey Smother come out to run the heels off, but the Stomper starts beating on those who tried to help him out. INT: Bob Armstrong - dressing room interview. He says that the Mongolian Stomper is as wild as ever and Kevin Sullivan is in for a big problem. The Stomper then pushes past Armstrong and heads to Sullivan’s dressing room to attack him. They start fighting and Sullivan gets him in the eye with the spike until eventually they are separated and kept apart by the Nightstalker, Robbie Eagle and Dixie Dy-No-Mite. INT: Tony Anthony, Jim Cornette INT: Bob Armstrong - he’s been on the phone to the Board of Directors and has come up with a triple main event for Christmas Chaos. The matches will be the Mongolian Stomper & a partner (as of the moment no-one has signed on to partner the Stomper) vs Kevin Sullivan & The Nightstalker, Tony Anthony & Paul Orndorff vs Tim Horner & Ron Garvin and Rock & Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies & Jim Cornette. Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired November 28, 1992 Sullivan East High School, Bluff City, TN Tim Horner vs Paul Lee INT: Tony Anthony & Ron Wright - Wright tells Bob Caudle that they shouldn’t be worrying about the lumberjack match like that as he’s been worrying about it for the past week. He’s been trying to get his four men lined up to be in their corner, but has found out that Tim Horner and his cohorts have been paying them off so he’s not been able to get the men he really wants. He assures Caudle though that they’ll have four men down there to help his beloved man hang on to the title. Dirty White Boy is a bit concerned and Wright says that some of the guys he originally signed up are trying to back out, but tells him not to worry too much as old Ron will sort something out. Anthony then tells Horner that Wright is a man of his word and that they’re on a mission to get this legend out of his chair. INT: Brian Lee - from home. The stitches are out, the bruises, and even his burns, are healing, but he’s still not 100% and the doctors haven’t released him. The docs have told him that if he comes back to soon after the injuries he suffered it could be fatal and he doesn’t want any excuses this time, because when he gets his hands on Kevin Sullivan it isn’t going to be pretty. INT: Bob Armstrong - says that Thanksgiving Thunder is upon us and the Mongolian Stomper is coming back just for Kevin Sullivan, who isn’t going to get away with what he did to Brian Lee. He says that the Stomper is the baddest man in all the land and he’s going to enjoy watching him take Sullivan apart. Armstrong has some more video footage of the Stomper in action showing what he does “to guys like you”. This time I think it’s of the Stomper against Dennis Condrey from the Mid-South Coliseum. Kevin Sullivan paid commercial - he says that the people who watch Smoky Mountain Wrestling now know that he is for real and that Commissioner Armstrong has sent for the Mongolian Stomper, a man that he once hated, he's now shaking hands with. He says that he is not going away and that he has heard a rumour that Brian Lee is planning to get out of his sick bed to try and give some inspiration to the Stomper. He tells Lee that when someone has had a near death experience you always see the light, and that light is telling you not to get in any more near death experiences and that goes for the Mongolian Stomper too. INT: Jim Cornette INT: Tracey Smothers - says he’s grateful to be in Smoky Mountain Wrestling and wants to thank everyone for making him feel welcome, but one day wants a shot at the SMW Heavyweight title. Dixie Dy-No-Mite vs Jeff Daniels - the Nightstalker jumps both men after the match. Paul Lee, Robbie Eagle and Reno Riggins try to make the save but he sees them all off, until eventually Tim Horner and Tracey Smothers come out and clear him from the ring. Down & Dirty w/ Danny Davis - Davis says that he didn’t ask to be in neck brace, he didn’t stick his nose in Paul Orndorff’s business, “Paula” just gave him a piledriver and nearly ended his career. All he was doing was watching Ron Garvin’s back like he always has as he is a longtime friend of his. Dutch questions him on how long he’ll be wearing the neck brace for and he says that a couple of weeks ago he got the feeling back in his right arm. Only he and his doctor know how long he’ll have to wear it, but he won’t be disclosing that information. Davis confirms that he will be at Thanksgiving Thunder at which point Orndorff comes to the ring and confronts him. The two of them get into a shoving contest before Mr Wonderful decks Davis. With his back turned to him, Davis takes off the neck brace and chokes Orndorff with it. Orndorff eventually gains control and is about to piledrive Davis again when Ron Garvin runs out for the save. Recap of Heavenly Bodies & Jim Cornette vs Rock & Roll Express & Ron Garvin from last week Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle) vs Reno Riggins & Robbie Eagle INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies & Killer Kyle - Cornette says that this afternoon in Knoxville is the most dangerous of the ‘Four Faces of Fear’ matches, the barbed wire cage, and after they tried to assassinate him last week he isn’t going anywhere without Killer Kyle. He promises the Rock & Roll Express that after he gets through with them they’ll be in so many pieces that they’ll look like a jigsaw, only that some of those pieces will be missing. Rock & Roll Express music video - Thin Lizzy ‘The Boys Are Back in Town’ Ron Garvin vs Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) - Tim Horner joins them on commentary for the match. Wright tries to pass Anthony some brass knux but Horner dashes from the commentary position to try to stop and grab them off him. Wright and Horner start fighting over the knux while Garvin drops Dirty White Boy with a punch. Referee Mark Curtis is trying to see to Wright and Horner when Paul Orndorff comes down and throws a chain to where the in ring action is, Curtis turns round and goes to count the fall but stops on seeing the chain. Orndorff tells him that Garvin used it and then Curtis raises Anthony’s hand. A second referee then comes out to explain to Curtis what happened but we go to the local interviews. INT: Rock & Roll Express & Tim Horner INT: Bob Armstrong - says after what happened in the previous match he has taken it on himself to declare Ron Garvin the winner, however as no three count took place he can’t take the title away from the Dirty White Boy and he remains the champion. Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden come out and interrupt the interview saying that they’re the best tag team in Smoky Mountain Wrestling, they’ve beaten the Rock & Roll Express, they’ve beaten the Fantastics, there’s no-one they haven’t beaten except the Heavenly Bodies. Armstrong says that he’s had a bad day and if they want a title shot with the Heavenly Bodies they can have one, and if they come back next week he’ll tell them where and when. Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired November 21, 1992 Sullivan East High School, Bluff City, TN Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden vs Robbie Eagle & Jeff Daniels - Dutch Mantel leaves the commentary desk claiming he has to make a phone call and The Fantastics join Bob Caudle for the match. Recap of Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden vs The Fantastics from last week INT: Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - Fuller doesn’t want to talk to a little slimy fella like Bob Caudle, he wants to talk to a number one commentator like Dutch Mantel. Dutch returns and says that he had to make a phone call, but wishes that The Fantastics could have stayed out here so that he could whip them both at the same time, however they ran off like the yellow, egg sucking dogs that they are. Fuller says that Dutch has the potential to be the best referee there has ever been and he wants him to be part of the Stud Stable. Fuller has bought one of his jackets out with them as a present for Dutch who puts it on, then gladly accepts the invitation to be part of the Stable. INT: Bob Armstrong - he says that Brian Lee is recovering but it’s going to be a slow process as he was injured pretty badly. They did send their camera crew to Lee’s home as he had a few comments that he wanted to make. The video airs and Lee is all beaten up, his head covered with plasters, with broken ribs and all laid up in bed. He says that the only reason he is here today is because he had a guardian angel looking over him that day, and he tells Kevin Sullivan that he better hope that the same guardian angel is looking over him as next time that they come face to face it will be him being stretchered out. Armstrong then says that he has a man coming in for Kevin Sullivan, the Mongolian Stomper, and he has some film to show just how bad the Stomper is. The footage that airs is of the Mongolian Stomper defeating Jerry Lawler at the Mid-South Coliseum. Kevin Sullivan paid commercial - Sullivan is flanked by the Nightstalker and Molokai and says that Thanksgiving Thunder is coming and Bob Armstrong has bought in the Mongolian Stomper, a man whose race tried to eradicate everyone in Asia and a man who put fear in the heart of every wrestlers in the United States. He says that there is a point in a man’s life when everything is taken from him, the Stomper was once a violent man, at one time was a warrior, at one time had ice running through his veins, but at Thanksgiving Thunder he is going to add him as another notch. He says that all his family will be there because his people believe in him, you can’t believe in that Commissioner though, just ask Brian Lee! INT: Rock & Roll Express INT: Danny Davis & Ron Garvin - they can’t wait until their handicap match with “Paula” Orndorff at Thanksgiving Thunder. Garvin says that he’s always given something to his fans, so today he is going to raffle off the robe that he took from Orndorff. Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) vs Reno Riggins - during the match Danny Davis goes to the commentary desk and hands Bob Caudle a black bag (supposedly containing Paul Orndorff’s robe that they will raffling later) and asks Caudle to look after it for him. After the match Tim Horner jumps Anthony and the Fantastics, Tracey Smothers and Dixie Dy-No-Mite all surround the ring as a precursor to the lumberjack match. Horner throws him out of the ring and the faces immediately throw him back in and he then ‘pins’ Dirty White Boy with his rolling bridge as Dy-No-Mite counts the fall. Down & Dirty w/ Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies - Cornette isn't happy about the upcoming six-man tag match and says that it's a con job! He says that everyone knows he doesn't belong out there, isn't an athlete and shouldn't be forced to wrestle and whilst the Heavenly Bodies can take care of themselves, now they've got to worry about taking care of him. It's all a con! The Rock & Roll Express came up with the 'four faces of fear' match for Thanksgiving Thunder, but now they're trying to chicken out of it, now they've got to have some sort of advantage. They go to Bob Armstrong and make up this 'dream match' which people have supposedly written in requesting, they needed an advantage and knew that if they got him in the ring then they would have it. Armstrong then claims a conflict of interest for him, so signs Ron Garvin to take his place in the match. Cornette says that they will be alright though, he doesn't know what they are going to do but they are going to do something, and the Rock & Roll Express won't get their hands on him. The Express think that if they put him out of commission he's not going to lead his men at Thanksgiving Thunder that he won't be able to advise them from ringside, and that will give them the advantage. He states that he will be there and that they have the advantage as Robert Gibson's hand isn't 100%, and who knows, something may happen to Ricky Morton too so he's not 100% either? Cornette says that no-one can go through the 'four faces of fear', the four most dangerous matches in pro wrestling, on four consecutive nights without getting hurt so at some point someone will get hurt bad, and they plan on that someone being the Rock & Roll Express. He then runs down the dates, venues and each match in the 'four faces of fear' (falls count anywhere, Texas death, street fight and barbed wire cage) explaining them all and what may happen. He tells the Rock & Rolls that at some point they will look the faces of fear in the face and when the Heavenly Bodies are beating them up so bad they'll ask the referee to stop it, but he'll say he can't, he doesn't have the authority because you asked for it to be that way. They'll then ask him and will say 'please pull them off us', but he'll tell them no because you were stupid enough to ask for it and he doesn't feel sorry for stupid people. Then when the Bodies are stood with their arms raised, the belts over their shoulder and the Rock & Roll Express are lay face down in a pool of their own blood they will realize they've seen the face of fear, and it was the Heavenly Bodies! (This was an amazing promo. For five minutes Cornette just talks and draws you into the upcoming series of matches on the Thanksgiving Thunder tour, he starts to focus on each match, explaining what will happen and reeling off the dates and venues too and the promo turns from amazing to incredible. Cornette even gives himself a nosebleed from the intensity and with how focused he is. INT: Paul Orndorff - he now claims to never remember saying that he’d wrestle both Danny Davis and Ron Garvin, but Smoky Mountain Wrestling have done everything to try and hold Mr Wonderful down and this is no different. He can’t believe that they were planning to raffle off his robe, he picks the black bag up and says with a bit of work and some sewing he’ll be able to wear his robe again. He pulls the ‘robe’ out of the bag and it turns out to be a black negligee and Orndorff is livid. Garvin and Davis appear in the ring with Davis wearing the robe, Orndorff charges towards the ring but they just leave. Heavenly Bodies & Jim Cornette vs Rock & Roll Express & Ron Garvin - Cornette immediately sprays something in Ricky Morton's eyes (what he had foretold in the earlier episode of Down & Dirty) and he is taken from the ring and it becomes a handicap bout. Garvin utilizes a back rake, chest rake and a wedgie on Prichard whilst Cornette spends most of his time on the apron. When Gibson is hurt enough he finally tags in, punches him a couple of times although these just seem to wake Gibson up and Cornette sensing he's about to get pounded offers Gibson his hand in a moment which made me laugh out loud. The finish comes when Cornette hits Gibson in the back with the tennis racket (somehow behind Mark Curtis' back), Curtis then turns round, see him holding it and DQ's them. They continue to attack them after the bell until Morton, now wearing an eye patch, dashes back to the ring and chases after Cornette. This seemed more angle than match to me as it didn’t really go anywhere, just sets up Thanksgiving Thunder. It could've been really good, had some nice moments but a crap finish and the overbooked nature of some of the matches and screw job endings are really starting to get to me (to the point that you know they are coming). INT: Jim Cornette, Tim Horner, Tim Horner & Brian Lee & Rock & Roll Express INT: Rock & Roll Express - Ricky Morton (wearing his eye patch) tells Jim Cornette that it’s an “eye for an eye” and he’s going to have to kill them if he thinks they’re not going to show up for Thanksgiving Thunder. Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired November 14, 1992 Sullivan East High School, Bluff City, TN INT: Danny Davis - he’s wearing a neck brace, but tells everyone to stay tuned as they have a surprise for “Paula Orndorff” Paul Orndorff vs Reno Riggins - Ron Garvin joins the commentary desk and hands Bob Caudle a note to read to Orndorff. INT: Paul Orndorff - Bob Caudle reads the note to him which is from Bob Armstrong. The note says in response to Ron Garvin’s recent request, he agrees that Orndorff made a verbal agreement on TV last week, they have therefore added a match to the Thanksgiving Thunder tour of Paul Orndorff vs Ron Garvin & Danny Davis in a handicap match. Orndorff tries to backtrack and says that he hasn’t signed anything and isn’t pleased either. INT: Tim Horner, Rock & Roll Express INT: Tim Horner - says that he’s finally got the Dirty White Boy where he wants. He’s been running, hiding behind Ron Wright, hiding behind Smoky Mountain Wrestling, he’s had to chase him everywhere! At Thanksgiving Thunder though he’s got him in a lumberjack match, where there will be eight men surrounding the ring and if you get thrown out, you get thrown straight back in. Rock & Roll Express vs Paul Lee & Jeff Daniels INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies - Tom Prichard says that for four continuous days at Thanksgiving Thunder the Rock & Roll Express’ lives are going to be a living hell and they will end their career once and for all. Down & Dirty w/ Bob Armstrong - they open by recapping what happened between Kevin Sullivan and Brian Lee last week, with Dutch giving a disclaimer that it is graphic footage and has been censored due to some complaints they've received about it. The censoring (a black circle) makes no difference and to an extent makes it look worse as things are left to your imagination. Dutch says that he doesn't blame Armstrong in his actions of suspending Sullivan as last week the whole show got out of control. Bob says that he finally found out why Sullivan had this grudge against him and SMW and it is because when the company first started he wanted to come and wrestle here, however due to his bad reputation he didn't want him here and didn't need another problem. As a result he held this grudge and finally picked his chance. Armstrong says that he feels responsible because he let him come back and wrestle Brian Lee and when he entered the ring last week and saw what a bad condition Lee was in, he did lose control. He's thought about things and while he is banning him from TV, if he wants to be so bad as to wrestle somebody, he's not going to let him get away with what he did. He's going to pay for it as he knows a man who is as big, as bad, has been suspended from more territories than anyone and who he has personal experience with. He tells Sullivan if he wants a part of this, if he wants to get a part of the real baddest men in the organisation, then at Thanksgiving Thunder he'll see the baddest of them all, the Mongolian Stomper. A cool old video then plays of Bob Armstrong vs Mongolian Stomper from the 70s. Armstrong says that he didn't even want to call the Stomper but did want to correct a wrong that he felt he caused, and at Thanksgiving Thunder the Mongolian Stomper will leave Sullivan looking twice as bad as Brian Lee. Kevin Sullivan paid commercial - the commercial opens to the sound of the Rolling Stones’ ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ with Sullivan sat by a fire and the Nightstalker and Molokai flanking him on either side. Sullivan says that what happened is on Bob Armstrong’s head as all he wanted was a chance to come to SMW, but just like the other federations, he said I was too violent. “It was never proven, it was lies, it was insinuendos.” He says that this is just the beginning, wrestling has gone through a change, they want to sanitise it, make it a kiddie’s show, well he’s not for kids. He was told he was not a good influence that he and his followers are what’s wrong with society and it’s because of people who pass judgment that is why he is here today. The big organisations can sanitise wrestling all they want but this is Smoky Mountain Wrestling, this is where it’s all real! Bob Armstrong has made another mistake at the Thanksgiving Thunder and he’s going to show the Mongolian Stomper that he is no longer a warrior, just an errand boy for the commissioner. Sympathy for the Devil plays again as the commercial ends. Tracey Smothers vs Robbie Eagle Bob Caudle announces that next week’s ‘dream match’ will be Heavenly Bodies & Jim Cornette vs Rock & Roll Express & Bob Armstrong, however Armstrong felt that it would be a conflict of interests to wrestle so has designated Ron Garvin as his replacement. This leads to a highly flustered Cornette rushing to the commentary desk and saying what are they talking about? Says that you’re going to get him killed and they can’t put Garvin in the match and the Heavenly Bodies have to pull him away. Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden vs The Fantastics - Ron Wright & Tony Anthony join the commentary desk for this match. Mark Curtis gets bumped and then Dutch Mantel says that this match is too important not to have a referee so goes to the ring to take his place. It appears he is calling the match down the middle at first, but when Jackie goes for a crossbody off the top on Golden, Dutch pulls him out of the way. Golden then covers Jackie and Dutch fast counts the pin. INT: Paul Orndorff INT: Rock & Roll Express & Ron Garvin - they say that if Jim Cornette sticks his nose in the ring next week he’s going out 1, 2, 3. Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired November 7, 1992 Sand Lick Elementary School, Haysi, VA INT: Dutch Mantel - he’s at the back of the arena awaiting the arrival of ‘The Master’. He can see a van in the parking lot and thinks that he is here. Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) vs Mike Sampson - after he gets the win Anthony calls for Tim Horner to come out and face him. He continues to attack Sampson while at the same time calling out Horner. Horner then runs to the ring from the opposite side that Anthony is facing, rolls Sampson out the way and switches places with him. Anthony grabs what he thinks is Sampson’s hair, but is in fact Horner’s and he punches the Dirty White Boy who exits the ring sharpish with Horner on his tails. Anthony ends up getting behind Ron Wright and wheeling him to Horner who proceeds to spin Wright’s wheelchair round and round whilst Ron clutches at his heart. Very funny stuff. INT: Tim Horner - says how Dirty White Boy and Ron Wright have been running every time he gets a chance to come and get them, so a lumberjack match has been signed for Thanksgiving Thunder and there will be nowhere for him to run to. Dutch Mantel goes to see Ron Wright who is still clutching at his heart, saying that he can’t see, needs some fresh air and doesn’t know whether he will make it or not. INT: Jim Cornette - “Eastern Kentucky is a place where men are men, the women are too and the sheep are scared” INT: Danny Davis - from his home. Says he’s been doing a lot of thinking these past few weeks about whether he should come back to wrestling, whether he should find a new career, but he’s not going to be intimidated by what Paul Orndorff did to him. He says that if he has to, he will buy himself a ringside ticket and every time he wrestles Ron Garvin he will be in the front row cheering Garvin on. He then tells Orndorff to watch his back as only he and his doctor know when he’ll be ready. INT: Paul Orndorff - he doesn’t care about Danny Davis, all he cares about is getting his $15,000 robe back. He then states that he could beat both Davis and Ron Garvin at the same time, it would be nothing to him as they’re just midgets. Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle) vs Paul Lee & Robbie Eagle INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies & Killer Kyle - Cornette says that after what has happened the Rock & Roll Express are anxious to get rid of the Heavenly Bodies, whilst the Bodies have always been anxious to get rid of the Rock & Rolls. The Express went to Bob Armstrong and said that they wanted some kind of showdown, some way to get rid of the Heavenly Bodies out of professional wrestling for good. Armstrong came to him with their idea and he accepted. On the Thanksgiving Thunder weekend, from 11/26 to 11/29 it will be 'the four faces of fear', the four most dangerous types of match in wrestling on four consecutive days: Texas Death match, Falls Count Anywhere, Barbed Wire Cage and Smoky Mountain Street Fight. He goes on to say that it's all coming down Thanksgiving Thunder and no-one can come through that without getting hurt, and that's exactly what they want. Down & Dirty w/ Tracey Smothers - Smothers says how he sees some of the greatest wrestling talent ever assembled here in Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Dutch says that whenever someone comes to a new federation they’re going to get tested and he asks how he thinks he’ll do when that test comes. Smothers then says how Dutch has been sat back there all night saying how bad and tough he is and asks why doesn’t he test him? Dutch says that he just might and Tracey tells him he’ll see him later. INT: Rock & Roll Express - Ricky Morton says that ‘the four faces of fear’ are the most dangerous type of matches in wrestling and at any time himself, Robert Gibson or the Heavenly Bodies can be put out. He then mention that what Jim Cornette forgot to say was that all of these matches are no-DQ and that means that they can get to him too, do anything they like to him and not lose their title matches. Jackie Fulton vs Bobby Fulton - Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden join the commentary desk for this match and Fuller says that someone needs to show these boys how to wrestle as this is boring him to death. With the referee bumped the Stud Stable go down to ringside and Fuller put something around his fist and clocks Bobby. Jackie goes to pin him but realizes that something is up, asks the fans what happened and then launches himself over the top rope with a plancha on to the Stud Stable. The three of them fight until Bobby regains his bearings, comes to help his brother and the Studs leave. INT: Bob Armstrong & The Fantastics - Armstrong says that they already had the Stud Stable vs The Fantastics scheduled as a dream match for later in the month, but due to what’s just happened he’s scheduling it for next week. Lengthy history piece on ‘The Master’ and how we arrived at the upcoming match Brian Lee vs ‘The Master’ - 'The Master' slowly makes his way to the ring to the sounds of some creepy music, keeping his identity covered by a black cloak. Brian Lee charges at him and 'The Master' unleashes a fireball, then pulls down his hood to reveal he's Kevin Sullivan. Immediately he starts to hit him in the head with a spike, while the Nightstalker and Molokai both come into the ring to help with the attack. Sullivan spikes referee Mark Curtis and continues the assault bloodying Lee up. Paul Lee tries to come and help his namesake, but he is the next victim of the spike and they then hang Brian Lee in the tree of woe. The non-stop attack is relentless as Sullivan spikes him some more. Robbie Eagle and Mike Sampson run down to try and help but the Nightstalker is keeping guard, preventing anyone get to Lee and he sees them off. Meanwhile on commentary Bob Caudle is saying that someone's got to stop this “call the law, call the army, do something?” A cameraman ends up getting up on the apron trying to help, but he gets spiked as well, leading to Caudle leaving the commentary desk and going over to where the assault is taking place, waving his arms and trying to get them to stop. Lee's face at this time is an absolute bloody mess and Dixie Dy-No-Mite is next to try and help, but like everyone before him the Nightstalker keeps him at bay, while Sullivan keeps spiking Lee and digging it into his forehead. The Fulton brothers come out but it makes no difference and it seems like no-one is able to get to Lee to help him. There is some visual at this point with Lee lay on his back, head hanging over the apron, covered in blood with his hair turned red and Sullivan still continuing to spike him. In the end the Rock & Roll Express, Tim Horner, Tracey Smother and Bob Armstrong all rush out and Sullivan leaves, with Dutch saying “We ain't going to see none of this shit on TV” and then tells Caudle that he should've stayed over there with him. Armstrong starts to massage Lee's heart and check for a pulse. He then goes over to Dutch and Caudle and says that he made a mistake by allowing Sullivan to come in here but he's correcting it now, and from this point on he's banned from the area for the rest of his life! INT: Tim Horner, Rock & Roll Express A chaotic scene as they continue to tend to Brian Lee. Bob Armstrong then gets on the mic again and tells Kevin Sullivan that “You’re banned from Smoky Mountain Wrestling you son of a bitch (bleeped out) for the rest of your life.” Dutch Mantel says that he disagrees with a lot of Bob Armstrong’s decisions but he agrees with this one as it was totally out of hand and should never have happened, as Lee gets carried out on a stretcher. This was incredible and the violence levels were off the charts with the repeated spike shots and Lee's face (and hair) being drenched in blood. Caudle getting involved and then Dutch agreeing with Armstrong when he bans Lee just adds to everything. After years of hearing Cornette rant on ECW, IWA-MS, Ian Rotten etc. and then watching this? Probably more pure violence in this one angle than anything I have ever seen in those promotions. Crazy, wild, chaotic, an unbelievable angle and piece of wrestling television. Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired October 31, 1992 Sand Lick Elementary School, Haysi, VA INT: Dutch Mantel - says that Bob Armstrong has done it again and from now on every match between the Rock & Roll Express and Heavenly Bodies must be a title match. Tracey Smother vs Paul Lee INT: Tracey Smothers - says it’s a pleasure to be back in the South, an even bigger pleasure to be with the wrestling of the future and to have the fans with him instead of against him. INT: Rock & Roll Express - Robert Gibson has his hand all bandaged up and apologises to Ricky Morton for not being there for him last week. Ricky says that he doesn’t need to apologise, as without him hitting the ring he doesn’t know what would have happened to him. He then says how Bob Armstrong has told them any match that they have against the Heavenly Bodies will be for the titles, so bring it on! Tim Horner vs Mike Sampson INT: Tim Horner - sometime, somewhere he’s going to get the Dirty White Boy and when he does, he’s taking that title. INT: Jim Cornette INT: Sandy Scott & Mark Curtis & Bob Armstrong - Bob Caudle asks them all whether ‘The Master’ should be allowed to wrestle in SMW. Scott votes “No,” but both Curtis and Armstrong vote “Yes” and Caudle says that the Board have spoken, ‘The Master’ will wrestle here. Brian Lee vs The Nightstalker INT: Brian Lee - now that he has his chance at ‘The Master’ next week, and he’s taking him out, just like he did to his hired hands. Down & Dirty w/ Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies & Killer Kyle - opens with clips from last week's action where according to Dutch, the Rock & Roll Express had tried to chicken and weasel their way out of a match with the Heavenly Bodies, but due to Jim Cornette's expertise in contractual matters they couldn't do it. Dutch asks him to explain the reasoning behind going to work on Robert Gibson's when he eventually showed up. Cornette says how his mother is a deaf mute, Gibson was tending to her after surgery and it was their intention to break his fingers so he couldn't talk to her! He says that Bob Armstrong has now threatened them with suspension unless they put the belts on the line every time they face the Rock & Roll Express, but that's fine with him as he's finally found the perfect combination to take them out. He tells them that they thought it would be comic book wrestling like they’re used to, but last week they realized they’re in the fight of their lives. INT: Danny Davis - telephone interview where he says that he currently has six electrical stimulators attached to his neck to try and revive the feeling he has lost in his fingers and toes due to the piledriver he received from Paul Orndorff. INT: Paul Orndorff - tells Danny Davis that if he sees him sticking his nose in his matches with Ron Garvin he’ll break his neck like he almost did last time, but this time he’ll make sure he does. He then tells Garvin that he better get his robe back because until he does, he will end the career of anyone who steps in the ring with him. Killer Kyle (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Ron Garvin - Paul Orndorff comes out to try and get his robe back but Garvin catches and stops him. He then gets in the ring to try and attack Garvin and double team him with Kyle, but Dixie Dy-No-Mite sneaks down and steals the robe to preserve it for Garvin behind Orndorff’s back. INT: Tim Horner, Rock & Roll Express INT: The Fantastics - they face each other next week in a ‘dream match’ suggested by one of the fans. They say that they don’t have to worry about Jim Cornette’s tennis racket, the Stud Stable, Paul Orndorff, they can just get in there and wrestle clean. Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden come out and Fuller says who cares what loser beats what loser cause you’re both losers and who wants to see who the best loser is? They all square off just as the show goes off the air. Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired October 24, 1992 Sand Lick Elementary School, Haysi, VA INT: Ricky Morton - says that the Rock & Roll Express have finally got their match for the SMW tag team titles. He also mentions that Robert Gibson’s mother went in for surgery on her eyes yesterday and he went to see her, though he is on his way back though and should be here later. The Fantastics vs Paul Lee & Mike Sampson Recap of Tony Anthony and Tim Horner from last week INT: Ron Wright & Tony Anthony - Wright has been trying to keep his man off Tim Horner, but Horner keeps coming out and attacking him, a poor old man! If he keeps on doing this he may have to let his man loose. Anthony says that everyone has seen Horner jump him from behind and if he was here today and had one gut in his body he’d come out and face him face to face. He states that his old lady is stopping him from doing so as she knows he would beat his ugly face in! Horner comes out and chases after the Dirty White Boy who wheels Wright away. Horner then says that one of these days Anthony will pay for hanging him and breaking a bottle over his head and if Ron Wright gets in the way, he may just hit him too. INT: Tim Horner, Rock & Roll Express INT: Tracey Smothers - he says that for the past two and a half years he's competed in WCW and we all know for the past year and a half which side of the fence he's sat on. When he first came in to WCW he was one half of the Wild Eyed Southern Boys and signed a contract for money than he had ever seen in his life. Things were going great, but after about a year the corporate people approached them and said we don't really want the redneck country boy style and we would like you to change your name and brighten up your outfit. It was as if they didn't like that we were from the South and represented the South, they even wanted to change where we were from to Cheyenne, WY. We did that and changed out name to the Young Pistols, they then started to send us to these towns up north but they just didn't take to us. Then we would come back down South and they couldn't understand why they were calling us the Young Pistols and that we weren't the Wild Eyed Southern Boys, they felt we'd abandoned them. We soon started to get these bad vibes off folk and eventually began hollering back at them, we forgot where we came from and changed everything about us. One day Bullet Bob Armstrong called him up and said you're like a fifth son to me but you're heading down the wrong road, everything might look good now, but when that changes see how many people you've got standing by you. Well now he's on his own and started to see that he wasn't being true to himself, his family or his friends so he left that situation as no amount of money in the world was worth it. Now he's in SMW and is going to do the best to show everyone that he wasn't raised to be the type of person you've seen for the past year and a half. Killer Kyle (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Robbie Eagle INT: Ricky Morton - informs everyone that Robert Gibson has just called him to say that they have landed at the Tri-Seasons airport and he is in his car on his way here. Down & Dirty w/ Bob Armstrong - says that despite his offer from last week he hasn’t heard anything from ‘The Master’, at which The Nightstalker and Molokai the Grim Reaper appear. The Nightstalker hands Armstrong a letter, whilst Molokai places something up on the ring apron. The letter states “You were so kind to make your offer to me last week. My followers, The Nightstalker and Molokai the Grim Reaper, bring my greetings to you, they also bring a gift for Brian Lee and an offer. If Brian Lee wrestles and defeats the Nightstalker on next week’s television program then I will appear in person the following week. However I will not come out merely to talk; I will appear only if I am allowed to face Brian Lee one on one in the ring. These are my terms, if you don’t accept them we will continue to meet like this.” The Nightstalker and Molokai leave and Armstrong says that he’ll have no trouble booking a match against The Nightstalker, but when it comes to ‘The Master’ he’s not sure as he has really disturbed the Board of Directors and he’s not sure he has the power to make that match. Brian Lee comes out and unveils the gift that Molokai had bought to ringside and reveals it to be a tombstone which reads “Brian Lee 1967-1992”. Lee says that this is sick, it’s not wrestling but next week he’s going to go through the Night Stalker and will then face ‘The Master’. INT: Ricky Morton & Bob Armstrong - Morton doesn’t think that Robert Gibson is going to make it on time and asks Armstrong if they can postpone the match until next week. Armstrong says that Gibson is always on time and would be here if he could (and still may well be), that its fine with him and the match will take place next week. This brings out Jim Cornette who has a contract with him. He says that the Rock & Roll Express went to the end of the earth to get the title shot and the contract has today’s date on, not next week, not next month and not next year. If Morton doesn’t have a partner it’s not his problem and if he wants a match for the belts he better produce a partner today or he’ll forfeit. The contract is legal and he’s holding him to it! Recap of Paul Orndorff piledriving Danny Davis from last week INT: Ron Garvin & Dixie Dy-No-Mite - Garvin says that he has called Danny Davis’ family and they have said he’s okay. It might be a month or two until he’s back and he’s got a brace around his neck, he’s just lucky that he didn’t break it. Garvin says that he feels responsible for what happened to Davis and he’s going to make Paul Orndorff pay for what he did to him. Dixie Dy-No-Mite vs Paul Orndorff - prior to the match Orndorff took to the mic and said that until he gets his robe back from Ron Garvin he’s going to take all of his friends out, just like he did Danny Davis. During the match Garvin shows up at ringside again wearing the jacket and just as Orndorff is about to piledrive Dy-No-Mite he spots him. Orndorff goes out after him and starts chasing him around the ring, eventually getting counted out and losing the match. INT: Tony Anthony, Jim Cornette INT: Ricky Morton - he says that Robert Gibson still isn’t here and it looks as though he will have to forfeit the match. Jim Cornette, Killer Kyle and the Heavenly Bodies show up with Cornette clucking like a chicken and then saying how Gibson is getting even with him for what he did to him in the past. He calls Morton a loser and says that he has no friends or family and that the only person who speaks to him is his father Paul Morton, and the only reason he does is because he is drunk all the time and doesn't know who he is. Morton slaps him and tells him that you don't talk about his family and that they are going to get that fight and he heads to the ring followed by the Bodies. Handicap Match: Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle) vs Ricky Morton - very good match with Morton dominating early until he gets bumped out of the ring. Prichard posts him and he blades, then the Bodies go to work on him for the rest of the match with Cornette telling them to “punish” him. Robert Gibson (in street clothes) rushes to the ring to aid his partner, leading to Cornette getting involved. The three of them triple team Gibson until Morton gets his hands on the tennis racket and nails Prichard with it, but he’s still exhauster from the earlier beating. Cornette calls Killer Kyle into the ring to help with the attack and they turn their attention to Gibson’s hand. Mike Sampson, Robbie Eagle and Paul Lee come out to try and help the Rock & Rolls but Cornette and Kyle keep them at bay. Eventually Tim Horner, Dixie Dy-No-Mite and Brian Lee run the heels off. Morton was tremendous throughout this entire show and angle. Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired October 17, 1992 Hancock County High School, Sneedville, TN Dixie Dy-No-Mite vs Joe Cazana INT: Rock & Roll Express - Ricky Morton says that throughout the history of the Rock & Roll Express and the Midnight Express and now the Heavenly Bodies, it's always been Mama Cornette putting the money up. He got to thinking, who is she, as he's never see her. Well, he’s just found out that she has recently got her picture taken by a famous photographer and he went down to his office and got a copy of it. Later on today he will show the whole world who Mama Cornette really is. Recap of last week’s Down & Dirty and the subsequent two on one attack by the ‘stalkers’ on Brian Lee INT: Brian Lee - says that he is tired of looking over his shoulder and being jumped from behind and tells ‘The Master’ to quit sending his hired help and to just get in his face. INT: Bob Armstrong - he still hasn’t found anything about ‘The Master’, but has a deal for him. He tells him that if he takes off the bounty and calls off the stalkers, he’ll give him air time on this show to air his grievances and to get everything out in the open. INT: Jim Cornette INT: Dutch Mantel - he reads a letter he has received from one of the fans for ‘Dream Match’ month where Leroy Mercer from Tennessee wants to see Tojo Yamamoto vs Whitey Caldwell. Dutch says that the problem with that is that they are both dead and this just goes to show that people in the Smoky Mountain area don’t know if someone is alive or dead, are stupid and should be institutionalized as they’re all ignorant! Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle) vs Ben Jordan & Robbie Eagle Down & Dirty w/ Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies & Killer Kyle - Cornette says that he heard the Rock & Roll Express come out and say that they've got a picture of his mother. Well it's not true and it's not legal, you can't just possess a picture of somebody and show it on TV! He tells the Rock & Rolls that they've got nothing of his mother as she's a fine woman and wouldn't allow them to have a picture of her! He says that they’re going to collect on that bounty too, they’re going to collect on Brian Lee, the Rock & Roll Express and anyone else who gets in their way. Prichard says that he’s sick and tired of hearing the Rock & Rolls come out every week and say what they’ve done to the Midnight Express and Jim Cornette, well they’re not the Midnight Express, they’re the new and improved Heavenly Bodies. INT: Ron Garvin - he is wearing Paul Orndorff’s robe again which he refers to as his ‘smoking jacket’. He says that from now on he’s going to make Orndorff’s life so miserable that he won’t be able to stand it in Smoky Mountain Wrestling and he’s going to drive him out of the area. Danny Davis vs Mike Sampson - incl. Paul Orndorff insert interview where he says that Ron Garvin is not going to drive him crazy and he’ll end his career one way or another. He says that Smoky Mountain Wrestling isn’t big enough of for the both of them and he’s going to pay dearly, in fact it will start now. Orndorff then goes down to the ring and attacks Davis. He piledrives him and is about to do it again when Ron Garvin runs out to make the save. Orndorff exits the ring and says over the house mic that the process of elimination has just begun, he hopes that he has broken Danny Davis’ neck and that Paul Orndorff is next. INT: Bob Armstrong - says that piledriver has just cost Paul Orndorff $2,500 and if he can find a way he’s going to see if he can get him to pay for Danny Davis’ medical bills too. Reiterates that there are no piledrivers allowed. INT: Rock & Roll Express - Ricky unveils the photo of Mama Cornette and it's a picture of a dog wearing a wig, glasses and a dress. The Rock & Roll Express leave the photo with Bob Caudle and then the Heavenly Bodies, Jim Cornette and Killer Kyle rush out and start to tear up the photo. Cornette says that his mother is not a dog and tells the Rock & Rolls to get back out and they'll fight them right now. Stanfield is not happy as they clearly have no respect if they can do that to a man's mother, whilst Dr Tom says she's the sweetest old lady he's ever met in his life and tells them to get back out here. Bob Armstrong comes out and says how he guesses that they want a match with the Rock & Roll Express? Well they can have it one condition, and that is that it's for the tag team titles. Cornette is fine with that, the Bodies not so much and an argument erupts between them. They say what about the injunction, but he tells them they've humiliated him and his mother ('they called her a female dog!'), that they're the best tag team in the business, that's what he pays them for and it's their job to beat the Rock & Roll Express up. Cornette doesn't care about the injunction and signs the contract, much to Armstrong's pleasure. INT: Jim Cornette INT: Ron Wright & Tony Anthony - Wright is in such a weakened condition that he barely talk. Tim Horner hit him with beer bottles and they've told him he'll probably lose his sight and he'll be out here in his wheelchair trying to manage wearing dark glasses because he's blind! 'Can you imagine a poor, old, broken down man like me, can't even walk, having to be rolled up to ringside and going blind?' It breaks his heart, he's said lots of prayers, asked for help and been to the smartest doctor in the world and he just doesn't know if anything can be done as that glass got in his cataract implants! Horner has come out and attacked him numerous times because he hasn't got the guts to get on the champ, so he picks on poor, crippled Mr Wright. The Dirty White Boy wipes a tear from his eye and tells Horner what kind of man is he? All he's doing is trying to do is make enough money to get Mr Wright out of his wheelchair, but every time Horner gets in his way. Everyone says he's a good down to earth man, but how can he be when he keeps attacking a crippled man? He tells Horner to pick on him instead, he isn't hard to find, just come down and step in his face, but implores him to leave Ron Wright alone. Bob Caudle says that he didn't see it like that, but Wright claims they edited the video of Horner threatening to kill him. Anthony then says that he has an announcement to make, but wants to make it in the ring and heads over to it. He says for weeks Horner has been begging him for a SMW title shot, well if he was here now he’d give him one, but he’s probably not got enough guts and is sat at home, at which point Horner makes his way to ringside (flanked by Bob Armstrong). Dirty White Boy is all shocked and starts telling Wright ‘you said Horner wasn’t going to be here?’ Anthony starts goading him, but Horner is under doctor’s orders not to do anything as he has a concussion, and whilst he wants to get in the ring to get him, Armstrong holds him back. Dirty White Boy returns to the interview position and says that Horner is crazy, he’s got a concussion and the best thing he can do is to stay out his way. Horner eventually breaks free from Armstrong and goes straight after Anthony, beating on him and they fight around the arena until the show goes off the air. Great segment. Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired October 10, 1992 Hancock County High School, Sneedville, TN Killer Kyle (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Robbie Eagle Recap of Tony Anthony breaking the bottle over Tim Horner’s head INT: Tim Horner - says that after the hanging and then having the beer bottle broken over his head the doctors have told him not to wrestle for two to three weeks, however he’s got title shots coming up with the Dirty White Boy and there’s no way he’s missing them. INT: Ron Wright & Tony Anthony - they explain that they were having a celebration last week over Wright’s life being spared after Tim Horner tried to kill him! Wright says how Horner came out, grabbed the beer bottle, swung it at the Dirty White Boy and hit him in the head. Some of the glass ended up getting in his eyes where he had cataract surgery and now he's probably going to lose his sight and he'll be a blind manager out here. He's already crippled and in a wheelchair, and now will be blind too and it's all down to Horner. Bob Caudle says that he didn't see it that way, when Anthony tells him if Horner gets in the ring with him he'll finish the job he should've started a long time ago, and is going to take $2,500 out on him because Ron Wright could've really used that money. Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) vs Ben Jordan INT: Tim Horner, Rock & Roll Express Recap of Danny Davis vs Paul Orndorff from last week INT: Ron Garvin & Danny Davis - Garvin is wearing Orndorff’s robe but he has cut it a bit shorter. He encourages the crowd to chant ‘Paula’ and says how Orndorff was supposed to be a girl, tried to be a man, but still couldn’t do the job. Orndorff comes out all irate and Garvin continues to wind him up until he just leaves and SMW officials (including Tommy Young) stop him from going after him. Orndorff says that in all his years in professional wrestling he’s never had anything like this happen to him, that was his favorite robe and it cost him $15,000. Tells Garvin that he is not going to get away with it, he’s going to hurt him and is going to try to break his neck. Great intensity again from Orndorff. Down & Dirty w/ Bob Armstrong & Brian Lee - Dutch has found out that a new letter has been received and that the mystery man at last has a name. Armstrong reads the letter to Dutch and it says “Bob Armstrong, Brian Lee seems to have many friends and many allies. My followers have only me to help them since society has rejected them, just as the sport of wrestling has rejected me. To make my task easier for my errand boys I’m extending the bounty. Any man who helps Brian Lee is now a target, and $10,000 will go to whomever hurts Brian Lee or his buddies so badly that they can’t compete in the Smoky Mountain Wrestling area. Since you seem to require some name to call me, I will be happy to help. You may call me ‘The Master’, since I am the master of wrestling, the master of my followers and most importantly the master of your destiny.” Armstrong says that he’s tried everything in his power to find out who this ‘Master’ is, but so far is dumbfounded and hasn’t found out a thing. Lee says that he is tired of this ‘Master’, is tired of all this hired help and if he’s got any guts he’ll come and meet him face to face. We return from a commercial break to see the most recent stalker (the Samoan looking guy) attacking Paul Lee in the ring. Brian Lee runs out to go after the stalker and the two of them fight with the stalker trying to collect on the bounty. Eventually with Brian Lee in control, the second stalker (The Nightstalker) runs down to the ring to join in on the attack. They both beat on him and leave him laying until the Rock & Roll Express come down to help Lee out. INT: Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - Fuller isn’t happy as he states that they’ve whipped the Rock & Roll Express time and again but who gets the title shot? Who gets to chase the Heavenly Bodies while they have to prove themselves against The Fantastics? Well there is only one fantastic team in this area and it’s Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden. Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle) vs Danny Davis & Dixie Dy-No-Mite INT: Tony Anthony, Jim Cornette INT: Rock & Roll Express - Bob Caudle tells the Express that they were blindsided by Jim Cornette last week coming out with that surprise injunction, and that they can no longer wrestle the Heavenly Bodies for the tag team titles. Morton says that if Cornette likes surprises, they've got one of their own for him next week. Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired October 3, 1992 Hancock County High School, Sneedville, TN Ron Garvin vs Mike Sampson Recap of Paul Orndorff tearing up Ron Garvin’s towel and choking him with it INT: Ron Garvin - he says that Paul Orndorff got to him, attacked him from behind, choked him with his towel and he kicked his butt! It's not the first time Ronnie Garvin got beat but he always comes back, he's like an elephant in that he never forgets. He goes to sleep at night thinking about him, not thinking about making love or kissing him (huh?), but thinking about putting him out of wrestling and teaching him a lesson. When he put his hands on his personal property he fooled with the wrong man and it's going to come his way very soon. Paul Orndorff vs Danny Davis - Ron Garvin intercepts the second taking Orndorff’s ring jacket back to the dressing room, puts it on and proceeds to watch the match and walk around ringside. Orndorff doesn’t see him until he is about to hit the piledriver, at which point he is distracted by Garvin and Davis schoolboys him for the pin. INT: Rock & Roll Express Rock & Roll Express vs Paul Lee & Joe Cazana INT: Rock & Roll Express Down & Dirty w/ Ron Wright & Tony Anthony - Down and Dirty opens with a recap of the angle from last week and then a Tim Horner interview. He has a bruised neck from the attack and says that he was confronting Ron Wright as he was promised a title match if he beat the Dirty White Boy. He went out to get that match at which point he was jumped from behind, handcuffed like a common criminal, had a noose put round his neck and was hung out to dry. He says that the Commissioner has promised him as many title matches as he wants and now it's time to get even, he's going to pull Dirty White Boy's neck like he did his and when it's over he just might be the SMW champion too. Back on Down & Dirty and Dutch asks them what happened last week? Wright says that Horner came out in a rage, he said that he was going to kill him and that there would be nothing left! They accused the SMW people of cutting that part out of the video and it was just lucky that the Dirty White Boy was able to get out and save his life! Anthony says that when he saw Horner come out and jump on this poor, crippled old man he just snapped and tells Horner that he was lucky he didn't beat him any more than he did. He starts bad mouthing Horner some more (thinking he is at home) when he rushes the set and clocks the Dirty White Boy. Wright wheels himself over to Horner and starts pulling at his trousers trying to get him to stop the attack, Horner then turns his attention to Wright who backs off and says how he's got glasses on and he can't hit a man in glasses! Anthony then breaks a beer bottle over his head, busting him open in the process. The Dirty White Boy and Wright leave whilst Horner's wife comes out to check on her husband and they go to a break. INT: Bob Armstong - he is fining the Dirty White Boy $2,500, he would fine him more, but that's all he can do on his own until he goes before the Board of Directors. He says that he was calling Tim Horner a coward, but that's the most cowardly thing he has seen in his life. Jim Cornette comes out to confront Armstrong and tell him that his mother has a crack staff of attorneys and they have been working on something for him. He says how they gave the Rock & Roll Express their chance at the tag titles and they blew it. He then hands him an injunction which states that Bob Armstrong cannot sign a title match between the Heavenly Bodies and the Rock & Roll Express as long as there are other teams that deserve a chance that have not yet had an opportunity, like Dixie Dy-No-Mite & Danny Davis and Pat Rose & Joe Cazana. Armstrong says that Smoky Mountain Wrestling have lawyers of their own and he's going to do some research on this. Killer Kyle (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Brian Lee - the Heavenly Bodies join them on commentary for this match and later make their way down to ringside. As Lee goes to hit the Cancellation Fee, they jump in the ring and attack him for the DQ. The Rock & Roll Express make the save and they brawl with the Bodies leaving Kyle and Lee to go at it. Cornette goes to blindside Lee but he turns round in time, at which point another stalker, this time a big Samoan looking guy, hits the ring and attacks Lee until Dixie Dy-No-Mite, Danny Davis and the returning Rock & Roll Express see him off. INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies INT: Danny Davis & Dixie Dy-No-Mite & Brian Lee & Rock & Roll Express - they say that they’re all behind Lee, whilst he says he’s tired of messing with the preliminaries and wants the man behind this. Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired September 26, 1992 Pikeville College Gym, Pikeville, KY Rock & Roll Express vs Robbie Eagle & Mike Sampson INT: Rock & Roll Express - they tell the Stud Stable that they’re not carrying them out on a stretcher and they better be ready, as they’re fighting “eye for an eye.” Ricky Morton then tells Jim Cornette that they took the Express name from them and now they’re going to take their belts too. Bob Armstrong has told them that they will get another title shot and that is good enough for them as he’s a man of his word. INT: Bob Armstrong - says he’s found out nothing about Brian Lee’s stalker, but this contract is leading to additional problems and situations. A clip then airs of the ‘stalker’ (Mongolian Mauler) jumping Lee from last week’s show and then of a six-man tag match from a spot show (Brian Lee & Dixie Dy-No-Mite & Tim Horner vs Heavenly Bodies & Killer Kyle) where Lee is attacked by another unnamed assailant (The Nightstalker). Armstrong says that he has received another letter (although this time in the form of a contract) which states “Commissioner Armstrong, you didn’t think I only had one errand boy did you? I have many followers, many poor souls who society has rejected, all of them are loyal to me and all are anxious to hurt those who have wronged me. If Brian Lee wishes to face his tormentor and bring his agony and career to an end, he has a chance. Here is a contract. Brian Lee may sign it and seal his fate. You still don’t know who I am do you? By the time you find out, it will be too late.” Armstrong says that he doesn’t know and isn’t bothered as he will find out eventually, however he has found out that the big, bald stalker is called the Mongolian Mauler. Armstrong says that as promoter he has the right to sign the match between he and Brian Lee, and even though he doesn’t agree with what he did, he can understand what Lee’s going through, so is giving him the chance to face him face to face and the match is made. INT: Tony Anthony, Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle Killer Kyle (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Newton Steffey INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies & Killer Kyle - they reiterate some of their previous points and Stan Lane is hilarious selling his perforated ear drum, and how the people insist on yelling and making noise as they want to see a good, Christian athlete like him hurt. Down & Dirty w/ Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - the segment opens with clips of last week's Rock & Roll Express vs Heavenly Bodies match and Robert Fuller would like to clear the air about what happened. He says that they got drawn up in all the action and that bought them down to ringside to get a better vantage point of what was going on. As Robert Gibson came into the ropes he clumsily tumbled over them and nearly fell on to Jimmy and him, and if they hadn't been there he may well have hit someone in the audience. When they were helping him back in the ring they noticed that his eyes were all glazed and at this point goes on to talk about the real rock & rollers, God fearing men like Elvis Presley and Ricky Nelson, personal friends of his who never touched a drug in their life. Now you have Guns 'n' Roses, Aerosmith and all you have are the drugs and the drinking, things you never see good God fearing men like Jimmy and he doing. He tells the Rock & Roll Express to dose themselves up and stick needles in their arteries because they'll need it when they take the ride on the stretcher. WTF!!! Fuller has such wonderful delivery but the subject matter was something else, saying that all Rock & Rollers these days are drunks and druggies and telling the Express to stick needles in their arteries! INT: Ron Wright - Bob Caudle thought that Ron Wright was having a heart attack last week when Tim Horner defeated the Dirty White Boy. Wright says how Horner has hounded him more than any bill collector, has been calling him 24 hours a day and sending the police out because he wants a title shot. He claims that he never promised him a title shot and now he is out there lying through his teeth accusing him of promising him to give him one if Anthony got beat. He tells Caudle that the gentleman Ron Wright would never go back on his word, he's just down and out on his luck trying to raise enough money to get to the hospital to have his hip implant and open heart surgery! At this point Horner comes out and Wright's voice and demeanor change instantly and he goes back to clutching his chest. Horner says that they told him if he beat them he'd get a title shot and asks where his contract is. Wright claims to have arthritis in his shoulder and arm so bad that he couldn't even sign it, but has watched the tape back and states that he never promised him a title match. He they starts accusing him of lying though his teeth, calling him yellow and can't say what he would like to him as he would probably be arrested! Horner starts back at Wright when Anthony appears and nails him in the back with a chair. He then handcuffs him with his arms behind his back and Wright gives him a noose which he puts round Horner's neck, before dragging him to the ring and hanging him from the top rope. Robbie Eagle, Ben Jordan and Newton Steffey all try to help, but the Dirty White Boy beats them all down. Horner bleeds from the mouth and does a pretty spectacular sell job with his facials, whilst Anthony lifts his legs up off the floor to aid in the hanging. The Rock & Roll Express, Dixie Dy-No-Mite and Danny Davis eventually make the save, stopping the attack and saving Horner from any further punishment. INT: Bob Armstrong - he tells Ron Wright and Tony Anthony that they are not getting away with that and that Tim Horner can have as many title matches as he wants until he wins the title. If they want to try and sue SMW go ahead, as he’ll find some way to strip Anthony of the title belt. INT: Ron Garvin - says that Paul Orndorff made it personal by putting his hands on his property and he’s going to pay. Even if it’s his false teeth or his underwear, he’s taking something of his! Paul Orndorff vs Brian Lee - Orndorff brings the timekeeper’s bell into the ring resulting in his disqualification. He tries to piledrive Lee on it in an effort to collect the $10,000 bounty, but Lee blocks the attempt. INT: Tim Horner, Rock & Roll Express INT: Brian Lee Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired September 19, 1992 Pikeville College Gym, Pikeville, KY Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden vs Rick Newsome & Ben Jordan - Fuller shoves down referee Mark Curtis and the Stud Stable are DQ’d. INT: Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - they’ve bought a stretcher with them. Fuller says that they don’t care about winning anymore just about hurting people, and this stretcher is for the Rock & Roll Express. Paul Orndorff vs Ron Garvin (from Kingsport, TN) - Orndorff jumps him before the bell, snatches Garvin’s towel and tears it in two. He then ties the towel round Garvin’s neck, hangs him to the top rope and proceeds to beat on him. Danny Davis eventually comes out with a knife to cut him free. INT: Ron Garvin - he says that Paul Orndorff went too far taking his towel, tearing it into pieces and using it to choke him with. It’s like a ring jacket to him, he hands it to a fan every night and Orndorff deprived a fan of it. States that Orndorff has made it personal and he’s going to take something of his and make him cry. INT: Paul Orndorff - again claims that he has got nothing to do with the bounty on Brian Lee but will face him next week, stick him in the ring and collect on that bounty. Then says that he is sick and tired of Ron Garvin, that he’s gotten under his skin and he’s going to stick him too. INT: Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle, Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden INT: Tim Horner INT: Ron Wright & Tony Anthony - Wright says that Tim Horner has been crying to the promoter forcing them to give him a match, well he’s not good enough, never has been good enough and there is no way he can beat my man. Tim Horner vs Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) - solid little match and Horner small packages Dirty White Boy for the win and no doubt subsequent title shot. Ron Wright falls out of his chair in shock and is sprawling on the floor in a moment which had me in hysterics. Down & Dirty w/ Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle - Dutch welcomes Cornette to his show, the crowd boos and he says how they love him. His ratings dropped with Bob Armstrong and Brian Lee on last week's show, so he's glad to have him on today. Cornette says how Killer Kyle is going to collect the bounty on Lee's head and then turns his attentions to Bob Armstrong. He's been sticking his nose in his business again. It wasn't enough that he cost the Heavenly Bodies the titles once, now in a rematch he's handcuffing himself to him at ringside, well you'll find out why they call him Houdini Cornette! He then tells the Rock & Roll Express that today, when they silence the critics and defend their belts against them, once they emerge unsuccessful from their one chance at the title, they will never see the belts or his men again. INT: Bob Armstrong - the ‘Wanted’ posters are still showing up and in preparation for Brian Lee’s match next, he’s put up extra security to guard the doors so they are ready for the ‘stalker’. Brian Lee vs Mike Sampson - Lee gets the win and is jumped by the ‘stalker’ (Mongolian Mauler) after the match. Newton Steffey, Ben Jordan and Robbie Eagle all come out to try and help Lee, but he leaves each of them laid out in the ring. Eventually Danny Davis, Tim Horner, Dixie Dy-No-Mite and Bob Armstrong come out and the ‘stalker’ rolls out the ring and walks out of the arena. Heavenly Bodies (w. Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle) vs Rock & Roll Express - Kyle gets ejected from ringside for tripping Robert Gibson and soon after the Stud Stable come down. Prichard whips Gibson into the ropes, the Studs pull the top one down and he goes flying over the top of it to the arena floor. They roll him back into the ring and Prichard covers him for the fall. A very good TV match and the actual match quality has improved greatly in the last month. INT: Tim Horner, Rock & Roll Express INT: Bob Armstrong - says he saw what Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden did in the last match and he’s fining them $500 each and is also ordering Jim Cornette and the Heavenly Bodies to give the Rock & Roll Express another title shot. Cornette then comes out and wants to file a complaint against Ricky Morton for hitting him in the face (as he could’ve seriously injured him), wants him suspended from SMW and tells Armstrong that they’re not getting another title shot. Bob says that by Cornett getting involved he gave them another title shot, and not to forget that they have two more matches signed against the Fantastics and he will be handcuffed to him for those. Cornette claims that Armstrong can’t stand it so is trying to cheat them out of the belts at every opportunity and then reiterates that they will not get another title shot as he’ll tie it up in court. Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired September 12, 1992 Pikeville College Gym, Pikeville, KY Paul Orndorff vs Ben Jordan INT: Paul Orndorff Recap of the Fantastics vs Heavenly Bodies from last week INT: The Fantastics - they claim that once again the Bodies cheated them and took their tag team belts. Bobby Fulton says when he woke up he could still smell whatever was on that rag and the smell lasted for a couple of days, but the hatred he has for Cornette and the Bodies remains. He feels they were robbed, but there is nothing Commissioner Armstrong can do because it was a no DQ match. They've a return title shot upcoming where they'll prove they can beat the Bodies again, however this time Cornette will be handcuffed to Bob Armstrong at ringside. INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies & Killer Kyle - after 13 years in the sport Stanfield Lane has sustained his fair share of injuries, but none were ever of the magnitude of the one he received at the hands of the Fantastics. He suffered a perforated eardrum, has to now wear protective headgear and wants everyone to keep the noise down! Tom Prichard is getting sick and tired of all these fat, disgusting women trying to rip their clothes and get to them every chance they get. “We don't associate with any woman in the Smoky Mountain area, we get our women flown in.” Cornette states that Bob Armstrong may be used to being in handcuffs but he's not, he's never spent a day in jail and this just goes to show he's out to see his men lose the belts again like last time. He goes on to say that Killer Kyle is going after the $10,000 bounty on Brian Lee, whilst people have been coming up to him saying that you're not true champions until you beat the Rock & Roll Express. He's going to rectify this and has asked for a match against them on TV next week and when they beat them, they'll never get another title shot as we'll have proved we're true champions. INT: Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle, Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden Tim Horner vs Joe Cazana - Ron Wright & Tony Anthony join the commentary desk for this match and Wright says that Horner has been harassing him at home! He’s been calling him up at 4am and got him out of bed, he’s been calling him when he’s eating his supper, he can’t even find time to take his heart and arthritis medicine, asking why can’t he get a title shot? INT: Tim Horner - he confronts Ron Wright and Tony Anthony, but Wright claims to feel a heart attack coming on and says we better get out of here. Horner says that he’s not going to touch him, but wants to make sure his name is in that hat and Wright says that it is. Down & Dirty w/ Bob Armstrong & Brian Lee - Dutch thinks these ‘Wanted’ posters are reprehensible and has often said that the fans shouldn’t do this! He wants Bob to get to the bottom of this, is on his side and has always been on his side. Armstrong has received another letter and although there is no signature he recognizes the handwriting. The letter says “Commissioner Armstrong, you seem surprised that my follower keeps returning? All the police and all the security cannot stop him from doing my will. You will regret having wronged me and all of wrestling will pay. You, Armstrong, will be forced to stand by and watch, you will be helpless to stop it. Brian Lee will be the first to suffer but he won’t be the last. Do not interfere with my errand boy or more of your friends will be hurt.” Armstrong has been racking his brains about who it could be but can’t think of anyone. He asks the man to call him, to meet him face to face and maybe they can sort out the problem. Lee says that he is nervous but is going to have to get tougher, and then rips the poster up. INT: Ron Wright & Tony Anthony - they’ve let the fine commissioner Mr Armstrong write down the names of the top ten contenders again, they will be put in a hat and whomever is drawn will get a shot at the title belt. Dirty White Boy pulls a name out of the hat, pauses for a bit (looking shifty in the process) and then says it’s Newton Steffey, before throwing the paper away. Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) vs Newton Steffey - Bob Caudle thinks that the Dirty White Boy is handpicking his opponents, he then gets the piece of paper that Anthony threw away and sees that the name on it was in fact Tim Horner and not Newton Steffey. After the match Horner confronts Anthony saying that he was watching backstage on the monitor and saw that it was his name that he pulled out, and that makes him scared and a coward. Anthony tells him to get his butt back to Morristown with his momma before he hurts him. Horner slaps him and the Dirty White Boy says that he’s crossed the line, he can have that match but it’s non-title, and if he beats him then he gets a shot at the belt. Danny Davis & Dixie Dy-No-Mite vs Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - the Rock & Roll Express come down to ringside during the match. Golden tries to suplex Dy-No-Mite from the apron back into the ring, Morton hooks his leg and holds it down allowing Dixie to fall on top of him and get the pin. INT: Tim Horner, Rock & Roll Express INT: Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - Golden says that he has never been robbed so bad in his life, Ricky Morton tripped him and held him down by his foot. He’s got a stretcher with him and says that the stretcher match isn’t going to be over until they’re both flat out on it and being carried to the hospital. Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired September 5, 1992 Avery County High School Newland, NC Tim Horner vs Robbie Eagle - Tony Anthony joins them on commentary, but quickly scarpers after Horner gets the win and he sees him making his way over to the desk. INT: Tim Horner - he just wants an opportunity against the Dirty White Boy. He’s happy to leave it to the luck of the draw, but wants his name in the hat alongside the other top ten contenders. Recap of Heavenly Bodies vs Fantastics from Fire on the Mountain, and then of Jim Cornette’s efforts to get a rematch INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies & Killer Kyle - Cornette says The Fantastics were so cowardly and scared of the Heavenly Bodies that they wouldn’t get in the ring with them for any amount of money, but he found their price. They are accompanied by Robert J. Lacey (who is VP of the Third National Bank in Morristown) and he has $20,000 in cash in a briefcase. Cornette promises the Fantastics that they are never getting their hands on the money and the Bodies are taking it, and the belts home with them. INT: Rock & Roll Express No DQ Match: The Fantastics vs Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) - the referee gets bumped and then Mark Curtis comes out to take his place. Curtis then gets bumped himself in a rather contrived manner (something that’s becoming a habit for him) and whilst Bobby Fulton has a sleeper on Stan Lane, Cornette soaks a rag in ether and uses it on Bobby to knock him out. He throws the first referee back into the ring who counts the fall and the Bodies regain the titles. Bob Caudle is convinced that Cornette knocked Fulton out with something, whilst Dutch Mantel just thinks he's a heavy drinker, was drunk before he went out and ended up passing out in the match! A very good match and best TV match of the year so far, although there was no need for Mark Curtis to be involved and subsequently get bumped. They could have easily carried on the match and do the same ether rag finish with the first referee still being out and KO'ed on the arena floor. Screams of being overbooked. Down & Dirty w/ Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies & Killer Kyle - Dutch opens by thanking Cornette for coming on to his programme and from keeping the Fantastics off it and killing his ratings! Cornette is a little choked up he is so happy, but what the people don't realize is that the referees were knocked out and as a result there was no official to keep an eye on things and make sure none of the participants in the match suffer a serious injury. He saw an old wound on Bobby's head begin to open up, so pulled out his first aid kit, sprayed disinfectant on a cloth and then went in to wipe the wound and make sure that he wasn't hurt that bad that he couldn't continue. After cleaning the wound he was fine, but then he passed out almost straightaway. Maybe he has a drinking problem? Maybe he was bitten by a tsetse fly? But either way the Heavenly Bodies are the new tag team champions. Stanfield says how he smelled liquor on Fulton, so no more Fantastics and from now on it's the Rock & Roll Express. They've beaten them so many times in the past that it will be like taking candy from a baby! Cornette then pours the $20,000 over him and is almost bathing in it in the ring. INT: Paul Orndorff - says that if Ron Garvin is the man that he says he is, why didn’t he step in the ring? Garvin claimed that he is going to piledrive him? Well no-one in the world is ever going to do that to him. Texas Death Match: Tony Anthony vs Brian Lee (jip, from Knoxville, TN) - the ‘stalker’ (Mongolian Mauler) again comes from somewhere to attack Brian Lee and lay him out. Tim Horner comes to help Lee and the arena security take the stalker away. INT: Bob Armstrong & Brian Lee - Armstrong says that the reward posters were bad enough, but he has now received a letter in the post. The letter says “Commissioner Armstrong, I see one of my followers has disturbed you, it won’t be the last time. Professional wrestling has wronged me, you Armstrong turned your back on me and because of this your fair haired boys will pay. Brian Lee will be the first and you’ll have to watch it happen. Don’t try to find me, when it’s time I’ll find you.” Armstrong doesn’t know what they’ve got against him that they’re taking it out on Brian Lee, but he’ll get it settled when he can. Lee says that he has no problem when it is one on one, but this letter has got him a little shook up. Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired August 29, 1992 Avery County High School Newland, NC The Fantastics vs Paul Lee & Mike Sampson Recap of Ron Garvin vs Paul Orndorff from last week INT: Ron Garvin - reiterates what he said last week and that he’s trying to get out of the sport, but that Paul Orndorff is saying how he wants to piledrive and cripple him and that’s very obvious from the way he wrestles. He says how the piledriver is the most dangerous move in wrestling, you can break someone’s neck or spine with it and he doesn’t want that to happen to him, but Orndorff has backed him into a wall and he doesn’t back down from anyone. Garvin then promises Orndorff that he will piledrive him and he won’t get up! At which point Orndorff rushes to the interview segment and challenges him to get it on right now. Garvin says that he’ll take him any time, any place, but doesn’t think this is the proper place and warns Orndorff not to make him mad, because when he’s mad he loses it completely! Rrecap of ‘the stalker’ (Mongolian Mauler) interfering and attacking Brian Lee from the previous few weeks INT: Bob Armstong & Brian Lee - Armstrong tells Lee that this guy has twice tried to collect the reward and that he continues to find the posters all over the place. He says that he is doing his best but doesn’t know where they are coming from and everyone he sees, he’s tearing down. Lee tears up the poster and says how he is going to tear up everyone who is in his face, and if he’s going down he’s going to take some people with him. INT: Rock & Roll Express - repeat from 8/22 Killer Kyle (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Tommy Angel - Kyle puts his reverse bear hug on Angel after the match and a chair wielding Dixie Dy-No-Mite runs out to help. He hits Kyle in the back and over his head with the chair but he no sells both blows and Cornette pulls him out. INT: Ron Wright & Tony Anthony - Wright says that so many people have been begging for a title shot, but none of them are really deserving of getting in the ring with his champion. Therefore, what they’ve done is put everyone’s name on a piece of paper and they’re going to put them into a hat to see which lucky man gets an opportunity to face the Dirty White Boy. Anthony draws a name from the hat and he picks Danny Davis. Down & Dirty w/ Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies & Bob Armstrong & The Fantastics - Dutch informs us Jim that Cornette has now put up $20,000 against the belts to face the Fantastics. Bobby Fulton says that is a lot of money, so put your money where your mouth is and for $20,000 we'll sign! Bob Armstrong says that he is not going to take a cheque off Cornette or his mother, if they put cash in his hand he'll take it to the SMW bank and they'll have the match, but only as long as he gets the cash. Cornette tells him to leave his mother out of this as she's a silent partner and then states that he wants one further clause added to the match. He doesn't want to leave his $20,000 in the hands of one of his officials who do everything he says, he wants the best team to win, so insists on the match being no disqualification 'so there is no way they can call if off'. Bobby Fulton whispers something to Armstrong, who then says that they can have the no DQ match, but every time they wrestle your tennis racket ends up finding its way into the ring. He says that they can have the match on TV next week, it'll be no DQ and with no time limit, but the racket is omitted from ringside. Cornette isn't happy, but Armstrong tells him there will be no match unless he signs the contract. He believes that Armstrong did everything within his power to get the belts on the Fantastics, and is now doing everything in his power to keep them on them. He reluctantly signs the contract and the match is set. Cornette is great here reacting off Armstrong and the Fultons. Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) vs Danny Davis - Tim Horner joins them on commentary for this match. Wright passes Anthony some knux which he uses to KO Davis and get the pin. Horner goes down to the ring and challenges the Dirty White Boy after the match but he just leaves. Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden vs Rock & Roll Express - two weeks on the trot we have had a good TV main event to close out the show (something that to be fair, has been a rarity all year so far). The Rock & Roll's get a ridiculous reaction, and the crowd are totally into them already with the Stud's getting the heat on Morton. As good as the action was, the finish came when Morton firstly shoves the official, then Fuller does and he ends up disqualifying both teams. This wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't done the exact same finish in the Paul Orndorff vs Ron Garvin main event from the week before. INT: Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle, Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - repeat from 8/22 INT: Rock & Roll Express - says the war has just begun! Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired August 22, 1992 Avery County High School Newland, NC Tim Horner vs Mike Sampson Video of Tim Horner at a charity dinner to benefit muscular dystrophy INT: Tim Horner (iv) all he‘s asking for is a chance at the SMW Heavyweight title. He can’t get hold of the Dirty White Boy as he mustn’t have a phone and Ron Wright is doing his booking and he obviously doesn’t want to give him a shot. He just wants a chance as he believes he can represent these people and Smoky Mountain Wrestling well as their Heavyweight champion. INT: Bob Armstrong - he’s holding a ‘Wanted’ poster featuring Brian Lee’s face on it that he’s found on walls and in dressing rooms for the past two weeks. They are offering a $10,000 reward to anyone who is able to injure Brian Lee so he is unable to continue to wrestle in SMW and the offer remains valid until the deed is done. Brian Lee then joins them and Armstrong tells him he’s going to do his best to get to the bottom of this and find out who is behind it. Lee says that people will do anything for $10,000 as it is a lot of money. Obviously someone in Smoky Mountain wrestling is scared of him, but he’s not hard to find and if you want some of him you better bring a lot as it’s going to be a long day. INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies - Cornette has asked his momma for some cash and she's putting up $10,000 that says they can take the Fantastics. Cornette asks the Bodies if he can put his faith in them and that her money is safe? They tell him he has nothing to worry about as not only is her money safe, but they'll get the belts back as well. Cornette then challenges the Fantastics; they'll put $10,000 up and on the line for a title match. INT: The Fantastics - Jackie states how when they injured his knee they put the Fantastics out and they had to wait, well now it's their turn to make the Bodies wait. Bobby then says how Cornette's mum would be prepared to walk the streets to get those belts back round the Bodies waists. He turns down the $10,000 offer, but makes mention that they are pretty desperate and maybe they will offer more? Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Danny Davis & Tommy Angel INT: Rock & Roll Express INT: Buddy Landell & Paul Lee - Landell has noticed that Paul Lee is very underrated and he’s going to take him under his wing. He can see a lot potential in him and is going to use him, he means put his talent to good use, against the Rock & Roll Express. Rock & Roll Express vs Buddy Landell & Paul Lee Down & Dirty w/ Ron Wright & Tony Anthony - Dutch wants to congratulate the Dirty White Boy on becoming the new SMW heavyweight champion. Wright says he had to get up out of his hospital bed to make sure that they didn’t rob the Dirty White Boy of the belt, but he’s now got him off the generic heart medicine, onto the real stuff and his heart is getting a little stronger. They’ve now got a bit of money in the bank as the championship brings it in and it won’t be too long before he gets this hip implant surgery and he’ll be back on his feet, ready to kick the head in of anyone who messes with the Dirty White Boy. He still has to carry his heart monitor with him just in case, but is doing a lot of praying to the good Lord! Anthony says that unlike Brian Lee he’ll be a fighting champion and will take on all comers no matter whom it is. Dutch then asks him about Tim Horner, but he says that he’s not in the top category of what it takes to get a title shot, has proved nothing to him and won’t be getting a title shot anytime soon. Brian Lee vs Robbie Eagle - ‘the stalker’ (Mongolian Mauler) jumps Lee after the match and leaves him lying in the ring before leaving. The Rock & Roll Express and Tim Horner come to check on Lee after the stalker has left. Paul Orndorff vs Ron Garvin - referee Mark Curtis twice stops Orndorff from hitting the piledriver (he had stopped Garvin from doing one earlier), he then shoves Curtis down and starts remonstrating with him. Garvin rolls Orndorff up and Curtis is about to count the fall, but rings for the bell instead, DQ’ing Orndorff. Good bout and they’re given longer than usual for a TV match. Usually not one for screw job finishes, but didn’t mind this as it adds to the ‘bitter Orndorff’ storyline and continues the feud between the two of them. INT: Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle, Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden INT: Ron Garvin - says he was very flattered when the fans wrote in requesting for him to be Brian Lee’s partner. He was almost retired and thought it would just be a one shot deal but Paul Orndorff has insulted him, he’s stepped on his toes, is bragging too much and is going to piledrive him for life! Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired August 15, 1992 Avery County High School Newland, NC Brian Lee vs Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) (jip, from Fire on the Mountain) - the finish comes when Ron Wright grabs Mark Curtis’s leg distracting him. Lee hits the Cancellation Fee on Anthony when the Mongolian Mauler (unnamed at this point) runs out, clotheslines Lee and Anthony covers him for the belt. INT: Brian Lee - dressing room interview. He doesn’t know who the mystery man was but there was definitely something in the elbow that he hit him with. Says that if he finds out Ron Wright and the Dirty White Boy were behind it there will be hell to pay. INT: Ron Wright & Tony Anthony - Wright claims he doesn’t know who it was, but evidently some spectator didn’t like what Brian Lee was doing and jumped in the ring and sucker punched him. He knew nothing about it until he saw the video as he was having a heart attack out there. He had forgotten his heart monitor and left it in the dressing room he was so nervous over the title match! All he was trying to do was tell the referee he was having a heart attack and to call for an ambulance and to get him out of there. Anthony says that the only thing that matters is that he’s the champion and is going to be a fighting one, when Bob Armstrong comes out to interrupt them. He tells them if he finds out that they were behind that mystery man he’ll strip Anthony of the title immediately, and Wright will have to put that operation on hold. INT: Ron Wright & Tony Anthony, Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden INT: Tim Horner - he heard Tony Anthony say that he would be a fighting champion and makes a challenge to him for a title shot. Barbed Wire Cage Match: Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) vs The Fantastics (jip, from Fire on the Mountain) - Cornette throws some powder in Bobby Fulton’s face and is spotted by Bob Armstrong who ejects him from ringside. Later in the match he sneaks his way back down and throws his tennis racket into the cage for the Bodies to use. Tom Prichard catches it and as he goes to swing it at Jackie, but Armstrong grabs it and snatches it off him. Jackie then rolls him up and Armstrong (fast) counts the three for the fall and the title change. Good action, although this is the second time in a row that the face wins a title due to Armstrong getting involved in the action. INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies - dressing room interview. Tom Prichard says that Bob Armstrong was going to make sure that they lost the titles regardless of what it took and they're not standing for it. It was a barbed wire cage match where anything goes and he wants to take something away from him? Cornette says that they understood from the start that Armstrong meant for them to lose the belts but they thought they could do something about it. He let the Fantastics do everything they could and the one time Tom Prichard got his hands on something, he stuck his nose in. He tells Armstrong to sign a rematch between the teams within 24 hours otherwise he's getting his lawyers involved and will sue both Armstrong and SMW until they are flat broke. INT: The Fantastics - dressing room interview. Bobby Fulton says that he’s been involved in wrestling for fifteen years and has never seen anything as brutal and bloody as that barbed wire match. He then tells the Heavenly Bodies that they don’t have to defend the belts for 30 days and when they do it might not be against them, they’re going to have to sit back and wait for a title shot. Down & Dirty w/ Jim Cornette & Killer Kyle - Cornette says that Kyle doesn’t speak because there is no-one round here worth speaking to. He did however have a chat with him backstage and it turns out that they have some common interests and he told him he would be happy to interpret his feelings to these redneck, hillbillies so they know what he is thinking. Cornette then talks about the upcoming boxing match that Kyle has with Dixie Dy-No-Mite and says that Kyle has a punch like a jackhammer! He gets Kyle to demonstrate this power by breaking a board (held by Mike Sampson) with his fist, and tells Dixie that he’ll break him in half just like he did this board. Dutch then asks him if this means he’ll be managing Kyle and he confirms he will. INT: Paul Orndorff - he’s still not happy about his piledriver being banned and is going off about Bob Armstrong when he shows up at the interview position. Armstrong mentions how Orndorff had problems with Brian Lee earlier in the year and then questions whether he had anything to do with that guy showing up at Fire on the Mountain. Orndorff says that he has never seen him before in his life, whilst Armstrong tells him that if he can prove he did have something to do with it, the price may be more than he can pay. Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden vs Rock & Roll Express (highlights, from Fire on the Mountain) INT: Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - backstage interview INT: Rock & Roll Express - say that they might’ve won the battle but they lost the war, and they’re not happy with that. Tony Anthony (w/ Ron Wright) vs Dixie Dy-No-Mite - Killer Kyle comes out some way into the match and hits Dy-No-Mite in the knee with a foreign object. Dixie’s leg later gives way when he tries to slam Anthony and the Dirty White boy falls on top of him and hooks the tights for the pin. INT: Brian Lee, Rock & Roll Express INT: Dixie Dy-No-Mite - says that despite everything that Killer Kyle has done to him he’s still standing tall and has him in ten rounds of boxing and doesn’t care where it goes. Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired August 8, 1992 Polk County High School, Benton, TN Hector Guerrero vs Paul Lee INT: Dixie Dy-No-Mite & Danny Davis INT: Jimmy Golden & Robert Fuller INT: The Fantastics INT: Heavenly Bodies & Jim Cornette Recap of Killer Kyle and Dixie Dy-No-Mite feud INT: Killer Kyle - Bob Caudle tries to interview him but he says nothing and just rips the confederate flag. Recap of Paul Orndorff vs Gary Scott INT: Paul Orndorff - dressing room interview. He says that it seems to him that these hillbillies, these rednecks worship Ron Garvin, “the man who has beat everyone.” Well he’s never stepped in the ring with Paul Orndorff, the man who piledrove Hulk Hogan, the man who piledrove Andre the Giant, well Ron Garvin you’re next! Down & Dirty w/ Bob Armstrong - Dutch claims to have never disagreed personally with any of the fines that he’s given to the wrestlers. In fact he’s agreed with everything that he’s ever done, they couldn’t have a better commissioner than him and he’s said this many times on the programme. However a lot of people have written in to him about certain issues (as he is the voice of SMW!) that they want him to ask Armstrong about. These issues are why did he fine Paul Orndorff for using the piledriver and not Brian Lee for using the Cancellation Fee? Why did he give the Fantastics complete leeway against the Heavenly Bodies? And why, at Volunteer Slam did he don two hats, first as the commissioner and then by jumping in the ring as referee? This is the fans asking these questions and not Dutch! Armstrong has a reasonable and just explanation for all of them and starts to get a bit exasperated by Mantel. He then goes on to say that the fans have written in to him too, and wants to tell everyone what Smoky Mountain Wrestling stands for. They don't have any Little Richard impersonators or wrestlers that go out in bad taste, we have role models and we like athletes. We don't charge high prices, we charge regular prices so families can attend. We don't charge $30 for a PPV, why am I going to pay $30 to sit in my house and turn on the TV when I can go to any local arena and see my favorite stars in person and get their autograph? That's what SMW stands for and we're going to all the small cities that the other organizations think they're too big for. Dutch starts coughing at this point before Armstrong signs off and leaves the set. Four Team Elimination Match: Dixie Dy-No-Mite & Danny Davis vs Jimmy Golden & Robert Fuller vs Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) vs The Fantastics - Robert Gibson runs in for the final fall, attacking the Stud Stable for the DQ and giving them the win and the $5,000 prize. INT: Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - they’ve got their $5,000 cheque, the Stud Stable are reunited and that’s the worst news possible for Robert Gibson Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired August 1, 1992 Polk County High School, Benton, TN Jimmy Golden & Robert Fuller vs Ben Jordan & Richie Dye INT: Ricky Morton - repeat from 7/25 Recap of Paul Orndorff’s piledriver spree INT: Ron Garvin - repeat from 7/25 INT: Tim Horner - wonders where is Buddy Landell? He seems to be hiding. He’s missed a few matches, maybe he’s in jail or maybe he’s scared? In the “I Quit” match you have to make your opponent say “I Quit” and there is no doubt in his mind he can make Landell say “I Quit”, but there’s a big doubt in his mind he can make him say “I Quit”. Tells Landell to put his name on the dotted line and he’ll see him wherever if he has got the guts to show up. INT: Tim Horner, Brian Lee Recap of the end of Dixie Dy-No-Mite vs Killer Kyle INT: Dixie Dy-No-Mite - after he got taped to the top rope by Killer Kyle and then he taped his fists and beat on him, the Smoky Mountain have ordered a taped fist match between the two of them. Dixie Dy-No-Mite vs The Stormtrooper - after the match Killer Kyle comes down to ringside and into the ring. The Stormtrooper leg dives Dixie, Kyle attacks him and then starts to choke him with a coat hanger. Gary Scott and Ben Jordan come out to try and get him off Dy-No-Mite, but he just no sells their efforts. Hector Guerrero then runs out with a chair and hits Kyle in the head with it, but he no sells that too. Kyle removes his jacket and they square off until Bob Armstrong rushes to the ring, gets between them and puts a stop to things. Down & Dirty w/ Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden - It's one of the proudest days in Dutch's life to have Fuller and Golden as guests on today's episode of Down & Dirty. Fuller returns the compliments and then starts to tell a tale about how he went to his barn the other night and saw two new born twin ponies. He called one of them Ricky and the other Robert and then says how he kicked those ponies until they yelped. When he got done with them he went and sat down, but those two ponies came over to him and rested their heads on his lap. Golden then says that it goes to show you can whip a little respect into something, and that's what they're going to do to the Rock & Roll Express. Lengthy recap of the Fantastics vs Heavenly Bodies feud - incl. clips of the Smoky Mountain street fight at Summerblast which is the first airing of those on TV INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies - Tom Prichard is wearing heavy duty gloves and carrying some barbed wire, whilst Bob Caudle says that Jim Cornette has been smiling about everything, but Bob Armstrong is going to be the referee and he is going to even things up. Cornette says that Armstrong only takes care of his friends and those who mean something to him, but he will be in the barbed wire cage with the Fantastics and the Bodies (kind of implying that there is every chance he will get hurt as well). Cornette goes on to say how the barbed wire will rip cows, horses and will sure rip the Fantastics. He then uses some tomatoes to represent the Fulton's and shows what will happen when they step in the cage, and shreds the tomatoes on the barbed wire. Brian Lee vs Gary Scott - after the match Tony Anthony comes to ringside with The Stormtrooper and Paul Lee. He sends them in the ring to attack Lee but he quickly sees them off. When they fail he attacks Lee himself and referee Mark Curtis signals to the timekeeper to ring the bell and another match commences. Brian Lee vs Tony Anthony - Lee gets the pin but Bob Caudle questions if he can do it next Saturday when the pressure is on. INT: Tony Anthony INT: The Fantastics - Bobby Fulton tells Bob Caudle that you know what it means to be a paper champion don't you? They're the kind of guys that go into the ring and don't win by ability (all whilst shredding a newspaper on some barbed wire that Jackie's holding). Fire on the Mountain is going to be the end for somebody and whilst they figure they are going to end up in the barbed wire a few times, they are going to throw the Heavenly Bodies into it a few more times and plan on leaving as champions. He then warns Cornette that if he gets in the ring he's going to get shredded, whilst the Bodies are going to get cut, and cut bad. Excellent build again. Bold matches are PWO recommended

Smoky Mountain Wrestling TV Aired July 25, 1992 Polk County High School, Benton, TN The Fantastics vs Joe Cazana & Gary Scott INT: The Fantastics - say that if you don’t want to see blood then don’t come to the Fire on the Mountain, cause we’re ready to bleed to beat the Heavenly Bodies. Recap of Jimmy Golden vs Robert Gibson from last week INT: Robert Gibson - says how Jimmy Golden called an old friend up in Robert Fuller, but he's got old friends too and called up someone who he hasn't spoken to in over a year who will be glad to be by his side. A video is then played and it's Ricky Morton. Morton says how he's made a lot of mistakes in his life, but was in a situation where he lost everything that means anything to him and when that happened he turned against friends and family. When family fights it's okay, but no-one else interferes. He tells Golden and Fuller that you do not lay a hand on Robert Gibson and that they've got the Rock & Roll Express back together. He says how he lost everything he had, signed a big money contract, but it was a mistake as the money ended up meaning nothing as he had no-one to stand behind him like he used to. The Rock & Roll Express are going to reunite and he'll stand by Robert Gibson through thick and thin. INT: Jimmy Golden & Robert Fuller - Golden says that Gibson hasn't got the right to bring in anyone from another organization and he just hasn't got the guts to face him on his own. Bob Armstrong shows up and Fuller tells him that he knows what the rules and that they're not going to let him step out of one organization and into another when he doesn't even have a license here to wrestle. Armstrong says that he doesn't care what 'they do', but he's going to let Ricky Morton come in here and the Rock & Roll Express will roll again! Fuller then says he's signing Morton's death warrant by allowing him to wrestle here. INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies Tony Anthony & Paul Orndorff vs Ron Garvin & Brian Lee (jip, from Knoxville, TN) - Lee pins Anthony, but the heels attack them after the bout and Orndorff gives Garvin a piledriver. INT: Paul Orndorff - dressing room interview. Says Ron Garvin took the ultimate piledriver from the greatest piledriver technician in the world. Next time he steps in the ring with him he’ll give him the ultimate, ultimate piledriver and it’ll be over! INT: Ron Garvin - dressing room. Says that Paul Orndorff made a mistake as he’s still around to talk. When Ron Garvin piledrives someone they stay down, they’re crippled and out of the business, now we’ve got piledriver vs piledriver! Brian Lee vs The Stormtrooper (wearing a swastika, nazi vest) INT: Brian Lee Down & Dirty w/ Tony Anthony - a special edition of Down & Dirty as Dutch Mantel is on location in Bucksnort, TN, the home of the Dirty White Boy. His home is in fact an abandoned auto car park and Dutch is a little scared so has bought some protection with him in the form of a dog. Dutch tells the dog if anyone comes at them to kill on sight and if they bother them, to rip their arms and legs off. He then starts calling out 'White Boy' whilst going past all these rusty, broken down vehicles until Anthony jumps out of one of them, startling the dog in the process who would've ran off if he wasn't on a lead. It transpires that Dutch woke him up, so he pours some water over his head to wake himself up, cleans his teeth with a swig of beer and then dries his face on Dutch's poncho. Dutch is here to ask him about his 'title vs leaving town' match against Brian Lee at Fire on the Mountain, and whilst the tables are stacked against him, Dutch believes he can take him. Anthony says that he knows he can take him, that he's going nowhere, that this is his home and after it's over the Dirty White Boy will walk out as the SMW champion, throw a party and get Mr Wright out of his wheelchair. Tim Horner vs Paul Lee INT: Davey Rich - says his broken leg (suffered at the hands of the Heavenly Bodies) is getting better and he’s devising a plan to get Jim Cornette. He’s got plenty of people calling him to take care of the Bodies if the Fantastics don’t do it first. INT: Jim Cornette - says Davey Rich is crying because he’s got a broken leg and plaster of paris all the way up to his hip. He thinks he’s got bad luck? Well he could’ve not got hurt this time, have to face the Heavenly Bodies again and get beaten up time after time, he got the lucky way out! The Fantastics wanted this match at Fire on the Mountain to keep everyone in the ring, but he doesn’t think they realize how it will feel when you’re wrapped in four pronged barbed wire. Maybe they need a visual demonstration… Heavenly Bodies (w/ Jim Cornette) vs Hector Guerrero & Ben Jordan - after the Bodies get the win they start to hog tie Jordan with the barbed wire until the Fantastics make the save INT: Tim Horner, The Fantastics INT: Jim Cornette & Heavenly Bodies - Cornette says the Fantastics are going to look like coleslaw when they get through with him and they’ll hog tie them better than they did Ben Jordan at Fire on the Mountain.
