  1. I don’t know why he doesn’t just hand the reigns over to someone on that creative team, do an Impact style taping schedule in a smaller venue and try and make something more of it. I had visions of guys catching fire in ROH and moving to AEW with some heat behind them but that just hasn’t happened. Unless Athena comes up to beat Statlander
  2. They’ve added ROH World Six-Man Championship: Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, & Toa Liona (c) vs. Master Wato, Ryusuke Taguchi, & Leon Ruffin Fight Without Honor: Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds, & John Silver vs. Vincent, Dutch, & Stu Grayson Komander vs. Gravity which, outside of the FWH, don’t add much appeal, even if I’m sure they’ll be perfectly good. I have a feeling that it’ll be a show that will deliver on the night but I’m not sure the card will sell any more tickets to help fill that building up
  3. I wish we had got more of CIMA in AEW. Dude should have got a proper US run at some point in his career, in general
  4. Hook casually cutting a promo on Jack Perry while drinking his wine was money
  5. I watched the last two weeks of ROH and, after reading those, that feels like an AI booked show
  6. To be fair, it’s not even the actual cost of the ticket, it’s more the hotel and travel that will knock the price up. I have a feeling that TK has something wild up his sleeve for Wembley so I think I’m going to bite the bullet and head down for it. Even if I have to watch through golden binoculars
  7. I can get a pair of tickets to All In for about £27 each but I’ll be in the nosebleeds. Anyone had experience of watching wrestling in a stadium who can say if it’s even worth it?
  8. Just think of the hot angle when Omega and the Bucks show up on Collision to cost CMFTR the trios belts in a couple of months
  9. Thought it was strange that Punk didn’t take the title out of the bag by the time the main came around. He’s definitely going heel though and I’ve got a feeling that Owen Cup winning babyface Starks will be opposite him
  10. Nigel in the booth gives me a bit of hope that they’re going to continue what seems like the simmering build toward Bryan Vs Nigel. Nigel has went out of his way to mention Bryan a few times on ROH and vice versa so if Nigel is up to it, book it for All In, Tony
  11. Ending brawl fucking ruled the world. Kingston coming back, teasing a feud with Moxley and them interlocking about 4 different feuds is the kind of thing they haven’t done for so long. With how inconsistent Dynamite is, we’ll probably revert to frustrating next week but this week was great
  12. The problem is that he’s 10x the worker than he is a promo but the fucker never wrestles
  13. Also, why does MJF hype up that he was in “the greatest iron man match” and “the greatest dog collar match” instead of hyping that he’s beat Danielson, Punk and Cody Rhodes? Dude needs to get his priorities right
  14. Willow Vs Storm at Forbidden Door?
  15. Jarrett, Lethal and FTR running through the Memphis back catalogue is so great. Run it back! I’d bet Jarrett hasn’t even scratched the surface yet
  16. My other assumption is that they need the table for a spot during Anarchy in the Arena but, if otherwise. let’s try and stop the WWE-lite nonsense creeping in before it fucks everything more than it already has
  17. This crowd is dead for, what has probably been, the weakest build for an AEW PPV so far. Also, why are the announcers ringside now?!
  18. Never mind that. The AEW pre-show now has four prediction making talking heads. I watch AEW to avoid this shit!
  19. Feel like Shida and Britt teaming up after their rivalry should have been a huge deal and maybe would have been a huge deal a year ago? Having it thrown on Rampage is pretty underwhelming. And Dynamite felt really WWE-esque this week. Right down to the contract signing and not to mention Hangman being shunted into one random backstage interview after the awesome closing segment last week. As much as I blow hot and cold on The Bucks and Omega, they should have been all over the show as the hot thing. AEW is appointment viewing for me but man, they are bouncing wildly from week to week right now. The Young Bucks helping the Lucha Bros after all they’ve went through should probably be focused on too, come to think of it
  20. Hayter vs Saraya is the clear choice for All In, I’d say. Sometimes shit just falls into your lap
  21. You’d think the big money program would be the obvious one if they can all bury the hatchet and work it all out between them. I kind of think Punk is coming back as a heel anyway since I can see him getting booed in a lot of places
  22. Unless they want to hold off on Punk actually appearing until Collision, I do wonder if he shows up after the main event at DON to mirror MJF doing the same to him
  23. Give Danielson the book and tell him to allocate 15 minutes every week to work who he likes. The rest of the show is inconsequential
  24. Now, that’s more like the Dynamite I love. Awesome matches in front of a molten crowd and we feel like we’re trucking somewhere. Even Jericho is watchable now that he’s leaning back into oblivious, arrogant idiot mode. Miro and Thunder Rosa coming back felt like it was on the cards but everything surrounding Collision is ridiculously exciting, even if not for all the right reasons. Also, how the fuck do they book the Wembley card? I assume the card is pretty much set in stone but this is a preposterous roster of talent
  25. Seems like the current estimate is somewhere around 70k sold which is wild. The crazy bastards may actually do it
