Loss
Good match, probably not as good as an arena match would be between the two. But the highlight is a Dave Brown quote on commentary: "Tracy Smothers points to his temple as if to say he is smarter than JC Ice. It's almost as if he is saying 'I'm smarter than you, JC Ice.'" Kronos
It's a short but good match. The studio crowd is into it. I'd like to see them go longer in front of a real crowd. I know Will is high on Smothers, and I begun to see why. There's something Gordy about him.
Jack_Briscoe_Is_My_Hero
Good little TV match, which seems to be commonplace in the USWA. They have that small crowd that they keep rabid and they echo around the studio. These two do some short but good mat wrestling. Smothers the major heel wins with a flag pole to the prone knee of Mr Ice.
Kevin Ridge
Smothers back to more regular ring gear. Decent match but it was on the short side.
PeteF3
Typical studio match, with some good work. I'm running out of things to say about these Nitro and WMC studio matches, since they're all basically the same length and same pace and layout. Smothers whacks JC in his bad leg with the Confederate flag and steals a win.
soup23
Pretty non consequential overall. Smothers still feels like a real lost worker of the back half of the decade and he towered over JC Ice here. He wins with an assist from Ol Dixie. *1/
