Loss Posted March 11, 2011 Author Report Posted March 11, 2011 Bob Caudle interviews Dutch Mantell on a tape sent in from SMW. Quick segment, not much to it. Quote
benj Posted March 12, 2011 Report Posted March 12, 2011 "Everywhere that I've gone I have left carnage in my way" Dutch rules. Quote
shoe Posted May 31, 2011 Report Posted May 31, 2011 Nothing of much substance to it. I guess this was an attempt to get the Bullet as a character over. Quote
PeteF3 Posted October 22, 2013 Report Posted October 22, 2013 Dutch is on a first-name basis with most of the Gulf Coast, because he's beaten most of the people up down there. He calls out the Iron Sheik, the Junkyard Dog, the Russian Warhead(?), and Austin Idol. Quote
WingedEagle Posted January 23, 2014 Report Posted January 23, 2014 Mantell talking about USA wrestling, Austin Idol and expanding into the south. Quote
soup23 Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Dutch can ramble with the best of them at times but this is something that entered my brain and then immediately left it. Quote
garretta Posted June 10, 2016 Report Posted June 10, 2016 It seems like Corny may have been looking to spread the SMW footprint a bit, since most of the big-time talent in this promotion seems to come from there. Who knows what might have happened if USA Wrestling had been able to stay afloat for a while? Unfortunately, guys like Sheik, Zhukov, and JYD weren't going to help it do that. I love Dutch, and the idea of seeing him wrestle again intrigues me, but he wasn't enough either. They needed young talent for the old talent to put over, and they didn't appear to have it. Quote
