Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Eric Bischoff is in sunglasses and a Hawaiian shirt. He runs down the card, and they show a clip of a Flair/Windham brawl from Worldwide. The brawl is much better than their match at Beach Blast would be from what is shown, as they brawl twice backstage, in the ring and even outside. Kevin Ridge
Bischoff could have fit seamlessly into Saved by the Bell as a waiter at The Max.
PeteF3
Looking good, Eric. The difference in production values for WWF and WCW PPV reports are palpable. Footage of a chaotic brawl from Worldwide, that goes from backstage to the ring to outside. His talk show segments are awful, but you can't help but notice that the only high-quality angles and interviews going on in the company are revolving around Ric. soup23
This was better than the skits for sure. The Flair vs. Windham pull aparts have been real good and it is a shame that the injury plagued the match so much.
Robert S
As shitty as WCW TV was at this period Beach Blast has a hell of a line-up, at least what Bischoff was running down here.
garretta
The brawl between Flair and Windham was nice, but I would have loved to see one of those impromptu matches the way JCP used to do it, where Flair would get a pin on Windham in order to show that he could do it again at Beach Blast. Windham was mad that Flair was using his dressing room? Isn't the belt itself enough of an issue without dragging useless crap like this into it? Maybe not, considering that the NWA title and brand were so obviously secondary at this time. I guess I called it about Roma being Arn's main partner against the Blonds. Like I said, this really takes away from the bout unless Arn does the majority of the work for the Horsemen, since Roma seems to be the one who's set up to take the loss. The US title match looks good, and it'll be interesting to see if Rude can go half an hour given his recent inujry history. I'm not sure about the main event. I think I'd rather see Sting challenge Vader and Davey wrestle Sid in a singles match.
