Loss
You can barely see Sullivan in this, but this is awesome. Cornette knew exactly how to use the guy.
shoe
It's amazing between Sullivan here, and a year later in WCW. Just night and day.
PeteF3
Sullivan paraphrases Pogo in calling out Bob Armstrong for shaking hands with his enemy the Mongolian Stomper. Yes, this is the absolute best that Sullivan has been since his Devil-worshipping Florida heyday, and will probably hold up as his artistic high point going forward as well. WingedEagle
Sullivan back in the woods on a paid advertisement aiming for Lee, talking about Armstrong and the Mongolian Stomper. Madness. Just great.
GSR
Another paid commercial from Sullivan who says that the people who watch Smoky Mountain Wrestling now know that he is for real and that Commissioner Armstrong has sent for the Mongolian Stomper, a man that he once hated, he's now shaking hands with. He says that he is not going away and that he has heard a rumour that Brian Lee is planning to get out of his sick bed to try and give some inspiration to the Stomper. He tells Lee that when someone has had a near death experience you always see the light, and that light is telling you not to get in any more near death experiences and that goes for the Mongolian Stomper too. The seriousness and evil of Sullivan in these paid commercials compared to the comic book nature of the Dungeon of Doom is something to be seen. Just a complete contrast and you honestly think that Sullivan would have no problem in putting someone six feet under if you watched these. garretta
This is great stuff. I personally think Jake Roberts is just a little scarier at this time, but since he's about to disappear Sully's got my vote for scariest active heel in North America. Corny deserves credit for making him so dark, first because they take this kind of evil seriously in this part of the country, and also because if Sullly's at his best (which he appears to be), the Bodies and Corny are no longer SMW's top heels. They're annoying and sleazy; Sully's downright evil. I can't wait to pick up the rest of this angle as I go along!
