Ditch Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Another good touring match from them. They keep it short, fit in a bunch of stuff, and impress the crowd... like the other touring matches. Quote
Loss Posted January 25, 2012 Author Report Posted January 25, 2012 Some pretty dazzling highspots in this one. Not much more to say than that, but this is really fun. It's not anywhere near their best matches of the year, but it's still fun. Quote
Tim Evans Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 I really liked this the first time I watched it. Good introduction to the feud. Nice to see Damian try to lead the "Psicosis cheers" Quote
PeteF3 Posted December 10, 2014 Report Posted December 10, 2014 Pretty much a total showcase for Rey, and on that level it succeeds spectacularly, as he wows the crowd with some incredible moves and dives. Quote
El-P Posted August 29, 2016 Report Posted August 29, 2016 Special attraction. The match that got them, Rey mostly, famous both in Japan and in ECW. I've seen this called a "touring match". Is that a nice way to say they were doing an exhibition ? Well, it is the Rey Jr. showcase, and it's amazing more than twenty years later. This guy was gonna be a star anywhere. Too bad he never got that nice sting in Japan somewhere. Would have been something. Psic(h?)osis plays basis rudo. Rey flies the fuck around and gets that crowd unglued. Terrific stuff. A bit too much "routine" maybe ? Well, their routine was **** minimum back then, so... Quote
Zenjo Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 The roadshow comes to Japan. An ideal showcase for what the two young Luchadores had to offer. Sub 10m was just right and high fly flow abound. Excellent aerial assaults were the order of the day. Okay it was a spotfest, but they really nailed said spots and had their act down to a tee. Even compared to their other similar bouts I felt this was one of their best showings. Quote
Makai Club #1 Posted May 20, 2020 Report Posted May 20, 2020 An awesome match that felt like an exhibition in that they did their signature spots in front of a new crowd to get it over but had so many great spots that it became much more than initially intended. These two always have great chemistry and this was no different. Psicosis took some wicked bumps while Rey flew around him, hitting sime crowd popping spots. **** Quote
