Then we get another Jimmy Valiant spot. HANDSOME JIMMY. MEMPHO.

Kind of weird sequencing with Jimmy yelling incoherent stuff and then a Lawler reaction shot and some comments.

I like these little segments with Valiant. You get the feeling they were fucking around backstage after he cut his promos for the following week and they found a way to use them fucking around in the TV show the next week in an effective way.

King Fish. Gold Fish. I don’t know why but I was dying laughing at this. Maybe the editing of this as the promo before was Lawler being serious and upset at not having the title. But Valiant’s video was so ridiculous.

Valiant holds the championship and spouts off nonsense. Wacky, but an understandably and effective way of Valiant to rub it in Lawler's face that he is the champion and get under Lawler's skin.
