Loss
That design on Sherri's head is kinda cool. Just okay, but I always like seeing these two together.
PeteF3
Sherri actually outdoes Savage here. Man, the Big Two LOVED making their Leona Helmsley references in the first part of 1990. I can't get across just how much I hated this program at the time. I hated Sapphire, I was sick of Dusty, and I thought it was a waste of Savage. And to top it off, it lasted way past its sell-by date--we'll see if there's any reason, looking back, why this feud had to be extended all the way until SummerSlam. soup23
Conservative outfit for Sherri. I do like these two together and they really tried to make the program with Dusty/Sapphire seem important.
Kevin Ridge
Sherii is going to do her duty as queen to exile Sapphire from the Macho Kingdom.
Cox
Savage promos are always welcome. Nothing special, but Savage always puts a smile on my face.
garretta
I wondered why, under the prevailing rules, they even needed the mixed tag. Sapphire was no worker, especially compared to Sherri, and Savage/Dusty was at least something semi-worthy of WrestleMania, even in 1990. But if they'd gone the singles route and blown off the feud, they wouldn't have had an excuse to start Dusty/DiBiase in front of a pay-per-view audience at SummerSlam with Teddy buying Sapphire. At any rate, not a bad promo from these two at all, and Sherri gets most of the mic time, mixing her normal regal spiel with some good old-fashioned tough talk. Savage opens and closes as only he can. They've had better days, but this got the job done nicely. .
drew wardlaw
Hahaha a 1-2 punch of a Leona Helmsley and a Dinah Shore reference. Sherri is really awesome here. I'll always enjoy a fired up promo from her.
GSR
The ‘Macho King’ and the ‘Sensational Queen’ are out for an interview with Mean Gene. Okerlund says how they’ll be part of history at Wrestlemania when they face Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire in a mixed tag team match. Savage says that there are a couple of people that are way past the danger zone; the ‘American Dream’, who he is going to handle, and Sapphire, who the ‘Sensational Queen’ has a special message for. Sherri says that because of the humiliation that Sapphire has bestowed upon the Kingdom of Madness, it is her royal duty as Queen to exile her polka dot, big butt from her managerial position in the World Wrestling Federation. The consequences that she will face will end her managerial position by Dusty Rhodes’ side, and send her back to peasantville where she belongs! Savage says that after Wrestlemania VI the ‘American Dream’ won’t be Dusty Rhodes and Sapphire, it will be the ‘Macho King’ and the ‘Sensational Queen’ and there is nothing anybody can do about it. I’m a huge Sherri fan but always considered her as someone who was the never the best when it came to cutting promos. Not the case here. None of the usual hysterics or screaming that you come to expect from her and she does a better job than Savage, and it’s not often that you would say that.
