They're still pushing a Genius/Beefcake feud--I guess it's a placeholder for the summer but it still seems like an odd program for a guy ostensibly being groomed to take the IC title. This was not a very eloquent poem by Genius standards. He got it cut again at WrestleMania VI. Genius literally milked this haircut stuff for the rest of the year. I saw a match on Youtube where he goes up against Dustin Rhodes in a match that had to be from December, and his poem makes note of his hair having grown back. I wonder if they had made the call to put Hennig with Heenan at this point. My guess is no, if they are teasing a Beefcake/Genius house show run. garretta Posted December 26, 2014 Report Share Posted December 26, 2014 They may have wanted to keep Curt and Lanny together even after Curt won the IC title at first, which would have made Lanny the man Beefcake would have had to go through to get a shot at the belt. If that had remained the plan, extending his feud with Beefcake would have made sense. As it turned out, the plans changed and this segment just seems pointless. I thought his feud with Beefcake was over after the Royal Rumble but apparently not as he reads a poem directed at him and warns him to beware of his IQ.
