Loss
Tony Schiavone is back! He interviews Sting against a weird blue-ish green screen to ask him if he ever considered retirement. He mentions getting 30,000 - 40,000 letters (yes!) from fans which motivated him to come back sooner and that he will be at Capital Combat. PeteF3
Tony Schiavone has come home again, interviewing Sting in front of a weird green screen. Sting's letters came from ALL over the world--Little Stingers, Medium Stingers, and Big Stingers alike want him back, so he's going to be at Capital Combat. soup23
I didn't even realize that TOny had returned until reading the comments. It feels like he never left in many ways. Sting stumbles a good bit in this promo.
Kevin Ridge
So Tony must have just returned to WCW at this point. Sting never considered retirement. The little Stingers helped Sting when he was at his lowest points. It’s funny when a wrestler makes a mistake on a tape promo and they still show it. Cox
Hey, welcome back Tony Schiavone. Good Sting promo, I felt like he had more to say here than Luger did in his promo, and shows good intensity as well. One thing you can say about Sting, he was a much better babyface promo than Luger. garretta
What Sting lacks in elocution, he makes up for in charisma. He really may be the top babyface in North America right now; I guess we'll see throughout the rest of this yearbook how WCW screwed him up (and over). Yep, this has to be one of Tony's earliest assignments following his WCW return; he was at Mania VI in Toronto (I believe), although I couldn't tell you what exactly he did. PeteF3
Tony wasn't at WM6, but his last appearance as an announcer on Challenge aired that same weekend.

drew wardlaw
Awesome, don't care what Sting says, Tony's back, baby.
GSR
Sting is with Tony Schiavone in front of a weird blue screen. Tony says that there were a lot of rumours all over the world about Sting’s retirement and wonders if he ever really considered it? Sting doesn’t know who started that rumour but he hates the word ‘retirement’. When he did get a little low and thoughts crossed his mind about whether he should come back to face the ‘Nature Boy’, the one thing that turned those thoughts around was looking at the 30-40,000 letters that he had received. More than that though, it was when Ric Flair got in the face of the fans; the little Stingers with their faces all painted, the medium Stingers and even the big Stingers. When he got in their faces he started to get real serious. He’s going to be at Capital Combat with Robocop by his side and the two of them are going to police the area!
