Loss
A Von Erich birthday party was destroyed, apparently, and there is a $1000 reward for anyone who has information. Terrence Garvin says he knows who ruined the party. Gary Young is out before he even says anything and tells him to leave him out of it. Garvin wants his money, a Kerry/Young brawl breaks out, and Kevin is out to break it up. This is all to set up a Kevin/Young feud. Very weird segment. PeteF3
Weird segment with Gary Young more or less outing himself as the culprit who apparently destroyed a surprise party set-up for Kerry Von Erich. This looks like a babyface turn for Terrence Garvin when suddenly he hands Young his $1000 payoff and Young jumps KVE, and both heels take off. Fun little swerve even if this feud set-up doesn't make a great deal of sense. A Von Erich *would* be taken in by a trick like that.
soup23
I liked this segment a lot and it took some strategic planning for all the moving parts, but all parties and their actions ended up making sense and Young/Garvin is the new duo to feud with the Von Erichs. Kevin Ridge
Gary Young hanging out with Garvin here. Interesting combo. Kevin comes to Kerry’s aid against Young. Pringle is a bad commentator.
Cox
This is the distant cousin to "four flat tires." Gary Young does a remarkably poor job at covering his tracks here.
garretta
A bit of an odd start for a feud, but at least Kevin finally makes the set for more than a few seconds. How in the world did he get so marginalized, anyway? I know he was slowing down a bit by now, but he's done virtually nothing this whole year. I wonder if we'll see an alliance between Borne, Garvin, and Young before it's all said and done, perhaps even with Percy managing?
drew wardlaw
Totally weird but I'm in for this. Come on though, $1000 reward to find out who ruined s birthday party is so good.
GSR
Terrance Garvin wants to speak with Percy Pringle as he knows who destroyed the birthday party (not sure whose party as I think we’re missing a bit of TV), but before he says who, he wants Kerry Von Erich to come out here and he wants him to show him the $1,000. Before Kerry is even out, Gary Young is up and in the ring saying he didn’t do anything, he hasn’t got a beef with the Von Erich’s and Garvin just wants the money and will say anything to get it. Kerry joins them and Young continues to go off on Garvin telling him to leave him out of it. Percy says that he hasn’t mentioned Young’s name at all and wonders if he might be telling on himself? Kerry tells Young to shut his mouth, asks Garvin what he knows and Terrance says that Gary Young was the one who wrecked the party. Young tries to worm his way out of it saying that he did see there was a party last week, but when he saw that, thought that they should just return to the dressing room and not work out like they had planned to. He didn’t know that there were boots in the box or a watch, at which point Garvin jumps in and says if young didn’t do it, how did he know about the boots? That proves it! Kerry seems a bit confused with everything so Percy says again to him ‘how did he know about the boots?’ Young claims Garvin is lying, but when Kerry hands him the money, Young jumps him. He beats on him until Kevin Von Erich makes the save and Young gets out of there. Pringle finished up by saying ‘the snitch’ Terrance Garvin is $1,000 richer. He’s heard about his reputation as a stooge, but now he knows it’s true! Weird angle with Young outing himself. Why not have Garvin tell Kerry it was him, then have him come out and try to talk his way out of it? All seemed a bit backwards to me.
