Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Warrior provides Brother Love a blond wig and dress that he forces him to put on. He then calls him Sister Love. Kinky and transphobic all at once!
PeteF3
Rick Martel hasn't gotten any more careful in spreading Arrogance around. Brother Love's talk about Warrior being afraid of Savage is hard to argue with. WWF Magazine tried to sell this as though Warrior felt that Savage had already had enough title shots, but as a kid who also read PWI and knew title matches were repeated all over the place, I wasn't buying that for two seconds. Savage was pretty right to be pissed about Warrior not signing a contract. Another reason why I wasn't sold at all on this guy as the Babyface of the Future. I'm probably never going to come around on Warrior's promos, but he's demonstrably improved here because he HAS SHIT TO TALK ABOUT. Savage is afraid, he's hiding behind Sherri's skirt, and here he also has Brother Love to play off of. These aren't great promos or even close, but they're clearly effective for what they are because he has an honest-to-God storyline to focus on instead of Normals and Poison, which wasn't the case with either Hogan or Rude. And it really didn't take that much. All that said, there are much better Brother Love-gets-embarrassed segments than this. As a kid I wanted to see Love get his ass kicked. Brother Love or Percy Pringle--who looks better in a dress, Loss?
Loss
Well, Percy Pringle actually looked like an ugly woman, while Brother Love looked like a guy in a dress, so I gotta go with Percy Pringle.
soup23
I actually didn't think this was half bad till Warrior started busing out the wig and dress then it got terrible real quick.
Kevin Ridge
Love brings up Sherri slapping Warrior three times. Warrior has a present for Brother Love. He makes him put a wig and dress on. Felt like an episode of Oz.
garretta
The visual of Brother Love in a dress aside, what is this supposed to prove, particularly to Savage? If Warrior were to put Sherri in a pair of bib overalls and cut her hair short to make her look like a man, I could see it as a warning to Savage to quit hiding and come out to face Warrior. But does someone as bat-dung crazy as Savage even care if you dress up some fat slob in a wig and dress? I think not, even if the guy wearing a dress is a friend. In other words, this was cheap and pointless except as an excuse to make Brother Love into a punching bag, which isn't a bad idea but is far too easy to do. I thought for a second that Savage was going to come out, the way Brother Love was calling Warrior "fraidy-cat" and such. They really need to stop Prichard from insulting the guests like this when there's no actual beatdown planned, although I guess you could say that wearing a dress is comeuppance of a sort if you're into that kind of thing. I think an ugly brunette is more Brother Love's color, don't you?
drew wardlaw
The stupid wig stuff totally brings Warrior down to a petty babyface picking on someone. I don't want the Ultimate Warrior humanized at all. I want spaceships and cosmos and livers and whatever he talks about. Stupid segment, but Martel is so good. dawho5
Warrior forcing Brother Love to put on the dress seemed a lot like a heelish act. That's not the kind of shit your top babyface should be doing. It's the heels who are bullies when things don't go their way, or maybe it's opposite in Vince world.
