Babyface Lawler has a few hecklers in the studio that he deals with masterfully, even weaving it into his entire interview. If Lawler wasn't so talented as a talker, I'd be sure they were plants.

Lawler gives his general state of the USWA address where he is able to turn the people chanting NOD into how him and some other guys in the locker room arent going to stand for what has went on. Lawler even mentions him cheering a heel tag team as a kid.

Lots of NOD fans in the audience. Jerry gives a speech about bad guys and that they can go too far at times. WWF Jerry knows all about this.

Lawler's entrance music sounds eerily like the Disco Inferno theme. He speaks about anti-establishment in society and growing up cheering for bad guys, but declares that a line has to be drawn, and calls out PG-13 for their tactics.

Great Lawler interview, even hinting at the shift in landscape of pro-wrestling, where anti-establishment rules and people are starting to get behind the guys fighting the system. A cool bit of foreshadowing there, although I doubt he knew just how right he'd prove to be about that over the next few years. Memphis feels like a relic at this point, but it's a charming one and a cool contrast to the Big Two + ECW.
