Loss Posted August 11, 2013 Author Report Posted August 11, 2013 Eric Bischoff is out to interview Sting to see where he was last week when Hogan called him out. This was suspect to begin with, announcers, you should have known this would be a ruse. The NWO Sting comes out to "A Man Called Sting" and stooges for Bischoff. They sort of play off of Sting's years and years of failure to become a megastar here, especially compared to Hogan. The real Sting shows up and lays waste to the impostor while Bischoff takes off through the crowd. Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Bischoff makes the case against Sting being in the WON Hall of Fame. Eric showing his arrogance trying to provoke Sting of all people. The real one shows up and easily takes care of the Fake Sting. The reverse DDT fit Sting so well during this stage. Quote
soup23 Posted October 26, 2013 Report Posted October 26, 2013 Sort of weird that this was the last segment before Slamboree as I would have flipped it with the NWO/Piper-Flair-Greene interaction. Sting gets to beat up jobber Sting and chase off Bischoff but it is good Sting was there or else this would have been a weak Nitro from a star power standpoint. Quote
El-P Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 Sort of weird that this was the last segment before Slamboree as I would have flipped it with the NWO/Piper-Flair-Greene interaction. Indeed. Either that or a hot DDP vs Savage segment. Anticlimatic to say the least. Quote
PeteF3 Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Yeah, underwhelming finish to Nitro. Maybe they were half-assing it because of the early timeslot. I don't know how anyone could seriously believe that Bischoff was going to interview the real Sting. Quote
