Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Very good match, worked differently than your usual Michinoku Pro special. This is a slower paced grudge match with Togo starting off strong before Sasuke snapped, hit Togo with a chair and started slowly gnawing off his arm. This won't blow your mind, but you'll probably like it.
Kevin Ridge
We appear to be outdoors at night. It does seem like most outdoor shows happened during the day. I think they are wrestling in a parking lot. Sasuke with the Space Flying Tiger Drop on to the concrete. Match was fine but I just prefer the MPro guys mostly in tag matches. Childs
I enjoyed watching them work a more classic singles match, though Togo's attack on Sasuke's leg was pretty bland. I guess you could dock Sasuke for doing a handspring elbow off a busted knee, but honestly, that was his character in a nutshell. Togo's big finishing stretch looked great. soup23
I really enjoyed the leg work and focus Togo laid out here. sasuke got a little spotty with the selling which didn't allow this match to reach the plateau I would have liked, but the finishing run was good and Togo and Kaientai look really strong. The pop again seemed small considering Sasuke was pinned clean.
PeteF3
This is worked a lot more like a heavyweight match than an MPro juniors match. We do get a Sasuke Special and Sasuke attempting a Stardust Press, but otherwise this is based around limb work leading up to bombs. The work on the leg by Togo goes nowhere and truthfully neither does the arm work by Sasuke, but I dug the way they filled time in a compelling-at-the-time way rather than roll out the highspots to start the match. Togo wins and man does this feud seem awfully onesided. Maybe it's Yearbook selection bias but I think that December match has been the only babyface win so far. Zenjo
A pleasant surprise. Sasuke's trousers couldn't hide his knee brace from the predatory Dick. A fun control segment as Togo has plenty of charisma. With Sasuke selling the injury like death I was expecting him to instantly forget it and fly around for 5m. Whisper it quietly, his selling was good today. He came back by attacking the arm for a spell before they moved onto the stretch. A nice finishing run ensued as everything flowed logically and made sense. There are very few MPro singles matches I've enjoyed as much as this. It combined being fundamentally sound with being fun. Usually doing one would lose the other. It's ironic when I think of the Great Sasuke 'classics' I've been the low vote on through the Yearbooks. Then when I find one of his matches I like everyone else seems lukewarm about it.
