Loss Posted September 7, 2013 Author Report Posted September 7, 2013 Paul E. announces that ECW has accepted the resignation of Tod Gordon. Paul E. wishes him the best. So where did the mole stuff come from? Was that a storyline or a shoot thing? Quote
WingedEagle Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 It was a shoot. He was working to have a bunch of talent jump to WCW. Quote
ajtroma Posted September 8, 2013 Report Posted September 8, 2013 There was talk that Tod was going to come back in around 2000 to be a heel claiming he was the reason Mike Awesome, Chastity, Sandman, Mikey, Lance Storm and all left ECW for WCW Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted September 22, 2013 Report Posted September 22, 2013 Paul was very respectful towards Gordon giving reasons as to why Tod couldn’t continue on as commissioner and has to resign. I just read that Gordon owns a pawnbroker shop. He should get his own TV show. I can see Dreamer showing up with the chair he hit Raven with with handcuffed to the cage and trying to sell it. Quote
soup23 Posted March 9, 2014 Report Posted March 9, 2014 Paul says goodbye to Tod in sort of a snarky tone but he doesn't outright bury him as much as you might think if there was legit animosity. Quote
PeteF3 Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 I don't really know the whole story behind the mole stuff and have always found it to be incredibly weird. This segment, which is akin to Vince McMahon sending off Randy Savage, just makes everything weirder. Quote
