Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
This feature focuses on the making and significance of masks in lucha libre. We get translated comments from Psicosis, Silver King and La Parka (with a funny voice that doesn't match them at all) and Rey gives comments in English. Eddy even has a few words for El Hijo del Santo!
Kevin Ridge
They should have used subtitles instead of dubbing in English. You want to hear the wrestlers even if you may not understand the language.
soup23
This series continues to be a fun look back. This one was a little more brief than I would have liked but did feature some nice comments from Santo and Eddy challenging him to a apuestas match. El-P
Come on Rey, you now you'll never be better than after you'll lose to Nash. In a tag team match. For Liz's hair. That's tradition.
PeteF3
The Mexican Dr. Ruth talks to us about Aztec traditions being borne out in the lucha mask. Agreed that it would have been better to have subtitles--I think it would have genuinely added to their "exotic" appeal, for lack of a better term, to hear them in their own language.
