Bischoff is upset that WCW has not been able to provide a safe working environment not only for Hogan, but for the fans. That's his big concern. Hogan is racked with guilt over this. As a result, Hogan refuses to wrestle tonight unless WCW provides a written contract that Sting is not allowed in the building. I somehow forgot that they ran this angle on the show.

Hogan trying to get out of the match with Piper as he doesn’t want Sting around. Bischoff has a message for the corporate chumps at Turner.

Hogan says he wont go into the cage unless it is assured that Sting wont show up. I get that Sting vs. Hogan was the match everyone knew they were building to but it does seem like Piper is being pushed a little to the side here.
