Loss Posted September 21, 2013 Author Report Posted September 21, 2013 Kevin Nash has either had a heart attack or a heart attack scare or something, but he's not here to do the job for The Giant. Scott Hall is out to do a survey and it's a typically schizophrenic WCW crowd that chants along with the NWO stuff then boos anyway. He trolls The Giant, which eventually brings him out. He looks sober for the first time in a few months. Lucky for Nash, Giant is patient. Eventually he has to come back and Giant will be waiting. Hall can't help himself trolling and takes a beating for it. Giant teases a chokeslam but instead gives Hall a powerbomb. Hall is great selling all of this, but I'm sure the fans felt ripped off. Kevin Ridge Posted October 4, 2013 Report Posted October 4, 2013 Watching live and I probably wanted to see Giant versus Nash the most so a total let off. This card went under changes with Konnan and Raven not being able to wrestle. Big powerbomb by Giant on Hall! Quote
soup23 Posted July 7, 2014 Report Posted July 7, 2014 Nash vs. Giant being off is disappointing. Hall does sell a lot for the Giant and Giant looks good but this is one blemish on the night for WCW. Quote
El-P Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Considering Nash didn't show up, this is about the best segment WCW could produce, with Hall being absolutely great with his facials and maneurisms. The powerbomb was a nice touch too. Disappointing maybe (although the actual matches between Nash & Giant aren't something to brag about anyway, especially the first one ending with a disaster), but for what it is, it's really well done. PeteF3 Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Hall does sell a lot for the Giant and Giant looks good but this is one blemish on the night for WCW. Thank God this should be the last one! It wouldn't have set any snowflake records but Giant vs. Nash was a match they were sort of building to from the very start of the angle, at least before the Giant turn, so this is definitely a letdown. Giant easily lifting Hall up high over his head was a great, impressive-looking spot, though. Quote
