DX is in the back. HHH gives a promo with a towel over his junk. Chyna is wrapping his knee in pain. HHH says that him at 50% is better than Owen at 100%. HHH is going to send Owen to that cesspool in the South. HBK offers his services at Mania as the special referee of a match between Tyson and Austin.

January 26 was the date of false sincerity for heels. This went way too long and I started zoning out, but Shawn ends up offering to referee a match between Steve Austin and Mike Tyson at Wrestlemania.

Michaels is all for Austin vs. Tyson at WM, since it means he won't have to defend his title against him. The insincere "role model" stuff is starting to wear thin considering how much it's been done across both shows. The reveal of his ref-stripe shirt was clever.

Watching this 18 years later, DX is obnoxious in a whole other way than intended. HBK even tries to kayfabe get out of jobbing a title.

Hunter tries to be funny & feigns pain as Chyna wraps his bad knee up. Shawn goes on & on eventually saying he'd love to Austin vs Tyson at WrestleMania & offers to be special referee while wearing ref shirt as the joke. This took too long, but I like Shawn being scared to face Austin.
