I thought Carson Daly was going to be the next big thing.

 

DDP is chilling on the couch talking to him when Raven pops up on the tv. DDP tells Raven that he got banged. DDp has a great line about Raven only caring about himself. While Raven is talking on the tv, he comes out of nowhere and hits DDP with a stop sign and then DDT's him through the table. Effective.

[Loss]

WCW with an actual, honest-to-God presence in the NY media market. Amazing. Raven interrupts DDP on MTV and ends up attacking him. Looking back, Raven received a pretty nice push during most of his WCW time and it doesn't make sense that he was unhappy there at all.

Really cool angle on MTV Live, as Raven interrupts a DDP promo piece and sends Carson Daly, Dave Grohl, and the other Foo Fighter running for cover, and DDTs Page through the coffee table. Good to see some mainstream attention for the WCW mid-card, which is the most entertaining and well-booked part of the product right now.

Page should have probably not kept repeating "You got banged!" He could have phrased it better to avoid that getting mixed up. the Foo Fighters looked bored as shit until Raven came in with the stop sign. This was a big coo getting on TRL, but it came off a bit corny.
