Loss
Talk about it here.
soup23
RVD has really become one of my least likable personalities. I know part of the gimmick is to show a carelessness to ECW as a whole and that he is above the whole thing but him just constantly stalling and doing nonsensical spots in his matches take me completely out of them. It is a shame because much like in the Douglas match, Scorpio seems game and pulls off a crisp performance hitting his highspots more flushly and impactful than RVD. Finish is humorous as Sabu interferes but Sandman comes out to Scorpio's defense. Sandman then does the Scorp dance that makes me smile. Match should have been a lot more and I would actually like to see Scorp vs. Sabu at this point in time to see if Scorp could reign him in and have a very good match. Loss
Alfonso with the whistle at ringside is unbearable. This is a bunch of crappy stalling and non-action, and RVD isn't good enough at stalling to build an entire match around it. I actively hated this. The guy everyone thought ECW should have been built around because he was so over managed to kill the crowd so much that he got a "boring" chant started. I have almost never done this on yearbooks but I had to stop watching this at a certain point.
Childs
This totally failed to hold my attention. Sandman dancing with Scorp was my favorite part.
PeteF3
Yeah, bad match, with both guys often looking like they're working underwater. I don't mind RVD in certain very specific instances but I don't think any of those instances involve him working as a heel. Scorp's fallen off badly being stuck in McMahonland for these past couple of years. The 1995 Scorpio might have been able to salvage something out of this. TravJ1979
In my early smark days I thought RVD was the greatest wrestler in the world. Boy was I fucking stupid. Who can't have a good match with Scorpio? I realize this isn't televised, but I believe they have a match at Wrestlepalooza which is the biggest shit spotfest imaginable. Of course, at the time, I thought it was spectacular.
