soup23 Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 Rock tells Faarooq that he has a special surprise for him. I guess this was a match with Shamrock. We cut to after the match where Rock bailed and a pissed Faarooq said he has had enough and that he is going to kick Rock's ass. Rock and Faarooq scuffle for a bit with the Nation breaking it up. Suddenly, Rock retreats to the ramp and the Nation starts putting the boots to Faarooq. The Nation has a new leader at it is The Rock. Quote
Zenjo Posted August 18, 2014 Report Posted August 18, 2014 If somebody bought me a gold Rolex watch I'd be loyal to him too. It wasn't just because the Rock is so much cooler. Quote
Loss Posted August 19, 2014 Author Report Posted August 19, 2014 The Rock promises a surprise for Faarooq later in the evening. Later in the show, Faarooq calls Rock out for a good ass whipping but the entire Nation ends up turning on Faarooq, cementing Rock's status as the leader of the group. Quote
Childs Posted August 25, 2014 Report Posted August 25, 2014 Poor Faarooq. Take any random selection of people, and I'm pretty sure they'd follow the Rock over him. Life ain't fair. Quote
PeteF3 Posted May 15, 2016 Report Posted May 15, 2016 "Take that back to Haiti where you came from!" Another big development, that was well-built-to, in a monumental episode of Raw. With more to come. I didn't think about this for the Squared Circle Gazette podcast about best wrestling TV episodes, but yeah, this is definitely a contender for one of the better Raws in history to this point. Quote
TravJ1979 Posted July 5, 2016 Report Posted July 5, 2016 Vince turning, Austin on fire, The Rock being pushed ...a perfect storm. Quote
