Loss Posted August 21, 2014 Author Report Posted August 21, 2014 Continue the JIP frustration with New Japan TV. This is a good glimpse of the top juniors of the time period. I love the Otani/Kanemoto/Takaiwa team. This was an incredibly exciting 7 or so minutes of action, and once again, I wish we had the entire thing in full. Hot crowd and a wild finishing stretch. There's some type of post-match angle here too with I think Hamada and Otani's team. I sincerely hope that one day we get an NJ Classics run that covers 1997-1999. Quote
soup23 Posted September 1, 2014 Report Posted September 1, 2014 Fuck the editing. Again, the action is really hot with Liger going face to face with the dick trio and Delphin showing a lot of fire. Finish is a feather in the cap for the trios on the rise. Quote
PeteF3 Posted May 21, 2016 Report Posted May 21, 2016 Fun action, but we don't get enough to see if any one guy stands out. Definitely another match you'd hope to see in full--this closing stretch wasn't quite as transcendent as the Liger/Otani match and the finish feels a bit more sudden by comparison. Quote
TravJ1979 Posted July 16, 2016 Report Posted July 16, 2016 It's been a couple of years since this YB set came out. Has this been released in full like the earlier Ohtani match in February? if so, I'd love to see it. I enjoyed the 7 mins or so that was shown. Quote
