Loss Posted August 30, 2014 Author Report Posted August 30, 2014 Lawler asks Al Snow to come out. Snow is dressed as an old lady and has Head in Lawler's crown. Lawler says Snow can get the appointment with Vince if he will just return the crown. He has a piece of paper with him and it's actually a contract for a match where he'll team with Head against Too Much at King of the Ring, and he has to win the KOTR match in order to get his meeting with Vince. Thank God Lawler is there to keep Snow focused on something. Not a good segment at all - I think Snow's gimmick is too out there to get over as big as they are trying to get it over. Quote
soup23 Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 I liked Snow calling out the fact that Christopher was King's son. The chicken fingers joke got over like a fart in church. This has been one attitude era storyline that has not aged well in retrospect at all. Quote
PeteF3 Posted June 19, 2016 Report Posted June 19, 2016 Al Snow accusing Head of getting them banned from Wal-Mart was rather eerily prescient, wasn't it? Again, all the new audience the WWF had gained didn't know of Snow's background. They should have just debuted him like a newcomer. Instead, they're booking like they're trying to appeal to a Full Sail audience that's 15 years away. Russo probably loved all the shooty-shoot comments, though. Quote
TravJ1979 Posted September 16, 2016 Report Posted September 16, 2016 ECW Maniac to costume-savvy goof has cut Snow's balls off immediately. Russo all over this with the shooty shoot crap. Quote
