Loss
Last few minutes. This was the week Shawn Michaels returned and did commentary. DX and The Nation brawl outside the ring. D-Lo splashes Road Dogg with his chest protector on and Kane gives him a tombstone to bring home the tag titles.
soup23
Kane and Mankind win the tag titles with Michaels on commentary and an assist from the Nation. I still think the length of run for the NAO on top is way overstated as well as their overall importance.
PeteF3
Yeah, the NAO definitely seemed to have peaked with the Mankind/Charlie feud. There aren't really any other tag challengers for them with the LOD 2000 reinvention failing, so they drop the titles to two singles stars instead. Not a complaint, in some ways it's downright Crockett-esque. Speaking of old-school booking tactics that still work (as opposed to the old-school ones that don't work, like most of the stuff in the BATB main event), I love D'Lo's chest-protector gimmick. TravJ1979
I agree with NAO. They were great UNTIL they joined DX. Down hill from there. I knew the titles changed hands, but didn't remember it was here.
SirEdger
They had another match in the main event of that very same RAW, with Taker & Austin added as "special enforcers". They were selling hard that Taker and Kane were in cohoots (following the events of King of the Ring when Austin lost the title because of Taker's chair shot) and obviously, the finish clearly sold that as well.
