Last few minutes of the Parejas Incredibles version of the Slamboree main event. Sting is FIP which builds to Nash getting the hot tag. Crowd is into Hall vs Nash, but not as much as they were into Hall and Nash. Sting's low blow on Giant gets the biggest pop of the match. Funny how much more comfortable Sting is in his role after he's failed as the top guy. Story of his career. Bret comes in to stop the scorpion deathlock and Sting pushes him out of the ring. This leaves him prone for a Razor's Edge and pin. Hall and the Giant win the tag titles. Crap all around.

At least Sting is being plugged into a program with Hart in a battle of who WCW fucked up pushing more in 1998. The low blow spot on the Giant was crazy with how it got the crowd over. They have some shocking chemistry. Giant and Hall win the tag straps making the struggle Sting had to win them seem moot.

Sting is wrestling in black trousers which is almost as bad of a look as the red Crow paint. Meanwhile Hall continuing to wear red and black because they can't be bothered to get him new ring attire is chalked up as "mind games." Sartorial critiques aside, the action here isn't bad and a very loud crowd helps. Finish is lame as all get-out, though, as Bret Hart distracts Sting and leaves him open to the Outsider's Edge. Note how the commentators don't particularly treat this title change as any kind of pivotal moment--the original goals of the NWO simply don't matter anymore and as Loss has said, they're just another stable.
