goodhelmet
Is anyone here even interested in these?
Guest DylanWaco
I'd buy them, but I can't burn any which leaves me out of the loop you were talking about earlier.
goodhelmet
Yeah, I will probably throw them out on the market for cheap. It will be about 5-6 discs at 4 hours apiece along with a 2hour WWE TV disc thrown in for free. The original plan was to just get them distributed but I don't know if the people who get them would actually talk about them so when they are complete, I'll let you know. Loss
I can only speak for myself when I say this, but I am definitely looking forward to watching and discussing the set. I hope others are willing to do the same.
Guest godthedog
i don't have the power to distribute, but i'll gladly pay for the set.
goodhelmet
OK, good, I am seeing definite interest. More than having the power to distribute, are you guys (except Loss who I know will talk) willing to discuss your thoughts on the matches?
sek69
I can still distribute the shows, I'm about halfway done with Loss's stuff so I'm still looking forward to this project.
goodhelmet
Ok, that is good to know. It should not be long at all before it is complete. I am trying to stall a little until Final Battle is released so I can include Ki-KENTA which is getting lots of raves.
anarchistxx
One pronblem may be that many people have seen most of the matches on the set. That'll be the reason I won't be buying them. I'll happily discuss though, since I have most of the matches on DVD.
goodhelmet
Actually, at this board, I doubt that is the case. In fact, I would venture to say that most people here have NOT seen most of the matches. The WWE matches? Sure. The rest of them... highly unlikely. sek69
I don't think I've seen a non WWE match on this list except for Joe-Kobashi.

anarchistxx
May I nominate the Taka Michinoku v Dick Togo match from K-Dojo on 04/03/05. Awesome match, they build it around the crossface so well, and the finishing run is really hot. Many times I thought it was over, the build in this match is absolutely perfect, from working a slow pace to picking it up at the end. Not too much goofy no selling, so good neck work from both, leading to the crossface spots and everything was really smooth. Probably won't have time to put it on the disc, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. You should all see it.
JHawk
I am definitely interested in both buying and talking about this set.

Loss
Rey & Batista v MNM - aired on Smackdown 12/23/05 I said the wrong match in the other thread.
goodhelmet
I edited it in. I took out the HHH-Benoit and Edge-Benoit matches to make room for Benoit-Regal and the tag match. To be honest, I am thinking of making a Benoit and Eddie 2005 digest so the Benoit losses don't bother me that much.
Loss
I'm going to do my best to get the Rey/Batista v MNM match to you tomorrow. Do we have a grand total of the number of matches that will be on this set? I'd like for everyone who gets the set to do a Top (x) Matches of 2005 list, PM it to me, then I'll average the lists and post one match a day, and then everyone can talk about that match that day, counting down to number one. goodhelmet
I am having serious doubts about releasing it or going through the trouble of continuing it. I have a bad taste left in my mouth from the Hart set so I am kind of disillusioned with the whole idea right now.
Tim Cooke
Yuki Ishikawa vs. Daisuke Ikeda (4/24/05 - Ikeda Produce) - having just re-visited their acclaimed 1998 and 1999 matches, I am confident that this is easily the best. They up the stiffness to a level that is un-heard of for a worked match and in between throw in some fun mat work.
goodhelmet
Shit, I am going to have to add another disc at this rate. The bad thing is that if I keep adding discs, I won't be able to keep the cost down.
Guest Big Papi
i don't have the power to distribute, but i'll gladly pay for the set. I'm in the same boat. I haven't seen ANY of the non-WWE matches but I'm very interested in seeing what else is out there. I'll be more than happy to discuss my thoughts. I have heard about most of the wrestlers listed but I haven't seen many. I think that would give me an interesting perspective. The only issue is that I cannot gaurantee that I will watch the matches in a timely manner. Between an active toddler, a job with wacky hours and a nagging wife I get but 1ish hour a day to myself. I'm sure some of you can relate.
goodhelmet
I have a lucha bulk buy in the process right now and a couplle of other things I am witing on. The set should be finalized and distributed in no more than 3 weeks.
