There was a Greg Gagne that pronounced his name like Joe who played for the Minnesota Twins at the same time as the AWA was still going in the late 80's

Re: the legends Battle Royal. Wasn't that the match that Angelo Poffo was excluded from, which led to Randy harbouring longstanding anger towards WWF? Definitely heard someone saying that somewhere along the way.

Maybe, Kelly.

This is an absolutely hilarious show. The Morton Downey Jr show sounds like a riot, and the post battle royal interviews all sound very dignified indeed.

I know it's like 19 months after the fact, but what the hell, I'm still catching up on old Titans episodes.

Anyway, quick anecdote for Johnny after his brief tirade against Ted Arcidi in this episode. Back in 2001 I did a community theater show just outside of Boston with Ted. Nice enough guy, but he wanted NO part of talking about his wrestling career. Totally blew me off when I brought it up (outside of acknowledging it).
