Their was a link in Bix's daily update at the Observer site linking us to a documentary that at the end shows a large chunk of the Flair Veneno match.

I recall someone on CM claiming to have the match, then going through all sorts of bullshit trying to rip people off to pay for the match, and then vanishing when people started calling him on bullshit. Seemed like he'd been a semi-major dealer for a while before flaming out on this.

Yeah, it was him. He was trying to orchestrate some sort of 'grab bag' system for his discs, where one of the grab bags would contain the elusive Flair vs Veneno match. Without going into all the specifics of everything, it turned out that he never had it in the first place. Some old time traders may remember some post on Crazy Max where he sai he was off to the Dominican Republic specifically to source this, and then when he returned claimed he had it but was going to keep it for himself. He also used to refer to himself as 'the King of Handhelds'!

There were at least a couple handhelds he claimed to have shot that he didn't (just like RF with the JCP Philly shows). He had them, he just wasn't the guy who shot them.

Great footage. I'm assuming it's explained why the ending is from a badly dubbed copy as opposed to the rest of the footage which is very clean?
