If my El Gran Apollo experiment fails, can I talk Ricky Romero out of retirement? Cagematch has a match for him in 1981 and then a big gap until one last match in 1987 (that's probably not him anyway) I mean, he's only 51 at the time surely he would be likely to wrestle for a promotion with the class that Joe Blanchard's Southwest Championship Wrestling exhibits.

Can a mod edit Cross Face's post please!? I need my sleepers!

For the record I do have Ricky Romero wrestling two matches on a random card in Texas in July 1983.

Then he disappears until February 1984

Put him on the list KrisZ! I need a wizened old veteran for El Gran Apollo.

Please don't steal him WWF.

I would also like to add the names from that battle royal of: Benny Orta, Chief Running Deer, Playboy Freddie D, Super Streak, Tommy Chapman and ??? to the list of eligible people who can be drafted.

And for the jokes about Cedric Hathaway, upon further research everything I read says he is a referee. I think he actually shouldn't be on the list.

The Mad Dog Lefebvre pick fucks me pretty bad. I had a plan for him. Didn't think he'd go this early. Probably not someone I can naturally replace in my plans either. My idea scenario was to pair him with Frenchy, but that went out of the window with the last WWC so I guess it's not that bad. Either way I"m going to have to play my plans way closer to the vest. Far too many people have an idea of who my sleeper picks have been and I don't like that. Thankfully my last sleeper I have disclosed to only one person.

Your hints in here last night weren't vague enough for me not to pick them out Dylan and that's all there was to it. Not when it's this late and the number of guys with real value gets smaller and smaller.

In the interest of moving things along, if CFCW doesn't post within an hour or so, I will do what I know is his pick.

Edit : Sorry if I was out of line, CFCW. I think we were all getting a bit antsy about the pace today.

Don't be getting too big for your britches, rainmakerrtv. I allowed you to take a 10 minute break from your booking duties so you could have one beer with Da Crusher and the rest of us. Now you want to start drafting talent? Get back in your office and get back to work! I expect your first card to draw a standing room sellout at a minimum.

His first card shouldn't even count because I sent him The Fabs so obviously it's a guaranteed sellout, hanging from the rafters, the fire marshall could shut ya'll down kind of night.

60? That's a lot of names! I guess I should look over the list again but I really don't know who I'm going to add to the list of 35ish that I have now.

Honestly not picking on JHawk because I understand him wanting to have his WWA champion for continuity's sake.

That said, was Bobby Colt on anyone's list? I have no idea who he is.

Someone was going to be pissed off about not getting Bobby Bass and so I think if you really wanted him, now was the time to pull the trigger Dylan.

Never was on my radar as I have seen almost nothing. Now that he's gone if you have any youtube videos you want to share to let me know why you and Grimmas were fighting over him, I'd watch them.

I appreciate you taking my simple question as is and not turning it into a criticism.

That has his first match as being in 1963. There's a joke about where to trade him when he's done with WWA but I'll let it lie.

This has his first match being 1958, or roughly about the same age as a 2012 TNA main eventer.

There are a fair amount of Bobby tag matches online but the best stuff of his I've seen I have on disc. Him waving an American flag in Sunny War Cloud's face is still one of the funniest non-pc things I've ever seen a heel do. He is going to be the mouthpiece for one of my stables.

I have an 8-9 disc set of Grand Prix that I think has a lot of Bobby Bass on it. If I could just FIND it.

I am also glad JVK picks immediately ahead of me because there is absolutely NO WAY that he will make me suffer losing my pick to the person right ahead of me.
