By then I might have run out of stuff for her to do.

goc Posted June 20, 2015 Report Posted June 20, 2015 I just watched a piece of a Southwest episode from I guess sometime in 1982 that has a non bleached blonde Buddy Landell, looking as jacked as I have ever seen him, as a babyface doing a squash match and then cutting a bland promo about Jack Brisco teaching him the figure four and all the great wrestlers who he is traveling around with and learning from. I can't make Southwest any weirder than that.

One of the most interesting things about this is looking to see how the "tiers" of wrestling promotions and talents worked. Like a guy who left Florida was likely to go from there to Georgia or JCP maybe but a guy leaving Southwest was likely to go to say Memphis or Portland or Vancouver. Guys who worked the smaller promotions tended to stay on a loop of smaller promotions.
