KrisZ are you aware who the future Southwest Mummy is? I may want to re-do that angle.

EDIT: Blown away by my PM answer to that question. That's rough.

I need Arandu so when we get to 1988 I can bring in Arandu's valet from that Guerrero Negro hair match on the 80s set into Southwest for a real hot angle with Sunshine. By then I might have run out of stuff for her to do.

I guess we weren't supposed to say his name in here? I was given that name by PM and was quite shocked. Bad way to end a career.

I thought that would have been a more obscure question.

OK this Maoris match is ass backwards. They have wrestling boots on and their white meat babyface jobber opponent is wrestling barefoot. All 4 of these men are eligible and undrafted. Not on my list though.

By 88 Southwest is going to be an apartment wrestling VHS product sold only in Apter mags. Who are you kidding?

I just watched a piece of a Southwest episode from I guess sometime in 1982 that has a non bleached blonde Buddy Landell, looking as jacked as I have ever seen him, as a babyface doing a squash match and then cutting a bland promo about Jack Brisco teaching him the figure four and all the great wrestlers who he is traveling around with and learning from.

I can't make Southwest any weirder than that.

If anyone needs a proxy tonight I will be around another 6 hours or so.

One of the most interesting things about this is looking to see how the "tiers" of wrestling promotions and talents worked. Like a guy who left Florida was likely to go from there to Georgia or JCP maybe but a guy leaving Southwest was likely to go to say Memphis or Portland or Vancouver. Guys who worked the smaller promotions tended to stay on a loop of smaller promotions.

Also, I just watched a match with one of the few remaining Samoans on the board against Grenade Boyer from a random Southwest episode. Boyer was perhaps the most awkward moving wrestler I have ever seen.
