KrisZ
Kris & David are joined by Al Getz (WHOO Wrestling) to discuss the week that was December 15-21, 1995. We venture into an extremely busy week in WWF featuring an In Your House, TV Tapings, new blood in the company, and a tremendous bit on the saga of Laura Brevetti, her secret husband Marty Bergman, Emily Feinberg and more McMahon steroid trial goodness. We also talk out about the 1995 Tokyo Sports Awards, Stu Hart Tribute Show in Calgary, Promotion Wars in Mexico, Steve Austin finding himself, Brian Christopher & Scott Bowden’s awesomeness, Madusa debuting on Nitro and other WCW wackiness. Also we have the Ultimate Ultimate and our thoughts on Dan Severn among others so a MUST LISTEN!!!!!!!!! Mad Dog
I was getting worried there would be a Christmas break. This will get me through the first half of work tomorrow.
UKWildcat
Speaking of Bowden, you should really have him on as a guest. For Gods sakes, he shared a dressing room with PG-13, Doug Gilbert and Tommy Rich!!!
PeteF3
That was definitely Bryan Clarke as the proto-Ringmaster. The name was on his singlet and everything in the sketch. That meeting with Vince in Indy was actually in July (which I remember only because Nash has talked with Sean Oliver about the Columbus house show the night before being a breaking point, and that was a show I was at). Cobra Commander
re: UFC vs Tyson/Mathis The fight was originally scheduled to take place on Showtime on November 4th at the MGM Grand, going up against Bowe/Holyfield 3 on HBO. Then Don King moved it from Showtime to FOX on September 14th. Then the fight was postponed after Tyson revealed an injury on November 1st. Then they moved the fight to December 16th on November 22nd. It moved from FOX to Showtime and from the MGM Grand to Atlantic City. Then the fight moved from Atlantic City to Philadelphia due to King's suspension in NJ, and from Showtime to FOX on November 30th. So anything going up against Tyson/Mathis had under 3 weeks notice of the fight being on free TV, and 4 weeks notice of the fight taking place on 12/16. So, it's possible that the Ultimate Ultimate booked itself on 12/16 before Tyson/Mathis. Tyson/Mathis drew a rating of 16.1 and a 28 share. FOX claimed that 43 million saw at least part of the fight card.
BigBadMick
Any chance of getting Cornette on one of these? Jumped out at me on last weeks interview that he'd be perfect for an 80s episode especially.

GSR
In regards to something Bix commented on, Col. Brody worked over here in the UK as Magnificent Maurice before becoming Brody.
WrestlingPower
Line of the show so far: "she definitely had the 80s hair, in more ways than one"
BigBadMick
Bix, I think Vince boasting about never getting addicted to coke was in Mike Mooneyham's book (can't remember title) from 2004 or 05.
