kevinmcfl
This is a list of wrestlers whose in-ring careers have basically come to an end. Please try to be as historically correct when deciding if a wrestler should be retired. You can use these wrestlers for a one or two time special as many of them DID wrestle once or twice a year. You can use people on this list as managers or special talent. If you use them as a manager, they must be used as part of your roster. If you use them as special talent (announcer, referee, etc...) they do not count on your roster. You can not use a person as special talent if someone else wants them as a manager. You are allowed to add a person from this list to your roster as a manager even if another promotion was using them as special talent. If you feel someone is on this list by error and is actually on a major roster at the time you want to use them, just give link to information and they can be removed. agentofenton
In reviewing my roster for possible retirement issues, I cleared out three names from my jobber list. The Scrap Iron's I just couldn't find any info on, they may still be eligible in this time frame, I just couldn't find anything. Frank Williams (Found nothing besides one match in late '85) Scrap Iron Scranton and Scrap Iron Sheppard. Pat Patterson will be done (in ring) at the end of this year. Mr. Fuji will be done (in ring) at the end of this year.
kevinmcfl
Updated on Retirement list. Just need to make sure LowBlow takes them off of free agent list
LowBlowPodcast
Whatever the list you sent me is what I put on there. I won't have time this weekend to update if someone else wants to and then send me the list.
rainmakerrtv
Jake "Milkman" Milliman? Pretty sure he was till doing jobs in the late 80's (in fact , was in the ill fated AWA Team Challenge Series)
SirEdger
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Definitely Jake Milliman wasn't retired in 1984. According to Wrestlingdata, he was in the AWA from 1982 to 1990, so he should still be active.
kevinmcfl
I am sorry but as with many of the wrestlers on the list, they seemed to have been in a promotion for a match and then out. I tried to keep our free agency list to those who were truly active on a promotions roster. Jake Milliman did wrestle through the 1990's but from this point in 1984-1991 he averaged 0.5 matches per month. Many of the wrestlers on this list did have a few matches after July 1984 but it seemed very sparse. I have no problem putting him back on the free agent list if someone would like to add him. SirEdger
In that case, I don't have a problem with any way this one goes.
LowBlowPodcast
I don't think we need to overthink this whole thing. Deaths are more important than retirement as most of the main guys will be around. If it is truly questionable, do your own check like most of us have and make the moves needed. Boon
I'll be using Billy Spears as a manger if that's okay with everyone?

agentofenton
I was researching my roster, and I didn't realize that Luke Graham was already on this list, so I am removing him from my roster and officially putting him in retirement. Also, I couldn't find anything for Toru Tanaka any longer as well (end of '84) so I am putting him into retirement as well.

El Dragon
I will go ahead and say I plan to be using Dick the Bruiser and Gene Kiniski for Central States if everyone is down with it.
GeneJackson95
Well since Percy Pringle who apparently no has missed in two years has to go to the draft, I would like to pick up Lars Anderson to use as a manager to fill my last spot. kevinmcfl
Thank you for that. Others on this list may have passed away also. In order to use this list, we must confirm that they are still alive and can only be used as anouncers, managers, behind the scenes talent and sometimes for a short in ring angle. I will take Bubba Douglas off the list.
