RCS1988
They should do that for the 30th Royal Rumble. 20 from RAW Live, 20 from Smackdown Live, 5 from NXT, & 5 surprise entries. I expect Undertaker to announce his entry into the Royal Rumble match the Smackdown show when Cena returns.
Zenjo
It's the 30th Royal Rumble, so perhaps another number would be more appropriate? They tried 40 one year and decided it was too many.
Mrzfn
Bigger does not always equal better. Just look at the World War 3 concept.
KawadaSmile
Really don't think this is a good idea. Think about how many guys would end up doing double duty?
JRH
You'd have to do one minute intervals, otherwise it would be over 100 minutes long.
flyonthewall2983
Hasn't the standard been 90-second intervals since 1996-7? Bruce Prichard talked about how they felt having it be every minute just made it too quick. I'd think an 80-85 minute RR wouldn't be too bad if it's going to have that many guys in it. Â I'm intrigued by the idea. You could literally have 30 men fighting it out at one point.
cm funk
The did the "BIGGEST RUMBLE EVER" one year with 40 guys when they had all the Nexus/New Nexus/Corre/whatever stuff going on and I remember it not being a very good or memorable Rumble match. I think Del Rio won that year?

I'm intrigued by the idea. You could literally have 30 men fighting it out at one point. Didn't they do the minute intervals in 1995 and that match is just a tad over 30 minutes. Perhaps that was down more to the sheer lack of quality on the roster at that point.  The did the "BIGGEST RUMBLE EVER" one year with 40 guys when they had all the Nexus/New Nexus/Corre/whatever stuff going on and I remember it not being a very good or memorable Rumble match. I think Del Rio won that year? Yeah Del Rio won as part of his whole "Destiny" angle. The match wasn't that good though we did get the immortal "Im Marking Out" from Matt Striker. RCS1988
Only reason why I thought of this was because WWE likes to stick it to former talent, so why not have someone else win the biggest Rumble match in history by sticking it to Del Patron. I don't think the casual fan would ever remember they did a 40 man Rumble off the top of their head like people here would.
Johnny Sorrow
And I seriously doubt Del Rio would give a fuck.
Laz
Y'all are acting like any Rumble match since Patterson officially retired has been worthwhile anyway.
