soup23 Posted February 10, 2017 Report Posted February 10, 2017 BJW has a N W O knockoff group too? This was a sad crowd for them as I don’t think there was more than hundred people here. This was sort of a weird match overall for me. It was good to see Teioh and he looked well enough. Motegi was a step below but not awful. The match overall though was just a 8 minute undercard affair that will be impossible to remember in a project of this scope. **1/4 Quote
Loss Posted February 25, 2017 Report Posted February 25, 2017 Terry Boy is a little older and a little more jaded. I'm not much on a match where they treat exploders like chops or strikes. The match has some good stuff after that, but that just killed it for me. Sorry. Quote
Moonsault Marvin Posted April 7, 2017 Report Posted April 7, 2017 I didn't figure out what the round object was that Motegi brought into the ring. This match ran out of steam after the first minute or so. The rolling around slapping and the dueling exploders came across as corny. Below average. Quote
cramerjason87 Posted May 26, 2017 Report Posted May 26, 2017 Basic match done in slow motion. The crowd does not help. Teoh brought nothing which was disappointing. Quote
Jetlag Posted July 4, 2017 Report Posted July 4, 2017 Since I'm a Motegi fan now, I gotta watch this. Motegi may be far from a great worker, but he always works hard. I liked the opening with the stiff shots and I didn't hate the exploder/uranage trading as it didn't come across as no-selling to me. Teioh has some fun ways to work over a leg and I really liked his spinning elbow combination and Motegi's stiff shotais. Quote
Edwin Posted December 21, 2017 Report Posted December 21, 2017 I dug Motegi's grounded elbows, but aside from that they never did anything to keep my captivated or interested. Pretty boring match. Quote
