Jimmy Redman
Not to hijack, but for those interested after the Trish talk in this thread, brainfollower and I did a show on Trish which is up on the PTBN feed. https://www.podbean.com/media/share/pb-qupzs-73f913
SteveDubRN
Hey, guys. I completely forgot that I'm a member of this fine message board. Thanks to all for listening and giving feedback. Will has done a fantastic job captaining this series and I'm just happy to be along for the ride. Johnny's memory of the most minute moments in a wrester's career is something to behold, and Dylan is a damn tour de force of wrestling knowledge. thebrainfollower
I think my company's policy of it's okay to listen to whatever you want on headphones might be changed based on the amount of gutbusting laughs I did between Will and Johnny arguing. I have to say, I consider myself a HHH hater from 1998 on and even I will have the guy on my list just based on how important a character he is. Kane too, probably. Don Muraco definitely and most likely Rollins. Not sure about Bray Wyatt. He and Cowboy Bob are battling for my 100 spot.
thebrainfollower
And Trish Stratus is 18, between Bob Backlund and Ted Dibiase, so I am pretty sure Parv is gonna kill me.

JKWebb
Nice! I'll be submitting after listening to this and watching Clash on Sunday. This has been a fun project.
Beast
I just don't get placing Vince McMahon so high on a list of Greatest WWE Wrestler, let alone at all. He was very rarely a wrestler and his matches were often terrible. Yeah, he was a great character, but as stated, more than wore out his welcome. JT totally lost me trying to defend ranking Vince over Bret. Even if you don't love Bret as much as others, he surely participated in more memorable moments and matches than Vince. Bigelow34
I just don't think his matches sucked, I think that is the biggest disconnect. I think he is arguably the greatest heel character they have ever had.
BigBadMick
The talking point about Cena not buying in on narratives was very interesting to me, and I agree completely. It was also a long running source of aggravation in the UKs Power Slam magazine.
Beast
Agreed. This was the flip side of the McMahon arguments to me in that not only was I totally convinced by the Cena stuff, but it made me question why anyone would have him in their top 10. Dylan Waco
I thought the Cena stuff was interesting. Its defintely one of the stronger criticisms of him Ive heard. Some of the other points that spun off from that I didnt agree with, but the central criticism strikes me as valid and interesting. There is a way in which Cena can be fairly viewed as both the most unselfish and selfish top star theyve ever had. While I am persuaded some by the argument, Im not certain Im persuaded that its enough to substantially dock Cena though, in part because I think most of the other top tier guys have criticisms that are equally damning. That said, Ill think about it when putting my ballot together
