Ron Simmons future looks bright.

Pillman scores the big win over Hector. The Snowbirds have some serious momentum going as they chase the Golden State titles.

Severn is not to be messed with. HAHAHA "Mr. Hollywood" Tracy Smothers. Great stuff. Watch out Pacific, the Hollywood Knights are expanding!

It looks like the Dog Pound have lit a fire under the Thundercats. This is just what they needed. I wonder if some fights are going to break out in the crowd between the Bullpen and Wild Dogs? Pacific might need to amp up security.

Candido turned down Burke but Douglas gladly accepts the help. Smart move. Looking forward to finding out who Burke has in mind to team with Douglas.

Midnight's defeat Badd Co. in another thrilling match. Missy better find somebody to counter Big Bubba.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the LA Sports Arena, Los Angeles, on ESPN / TSN Pacific Super Cards, January 23rd

British Steel vs. Hart Foundation

Robbie Brookside was going for a top rope clothesline on Neidhart , but Bryan Adams, there as bodyguard for Gary Hart, shoved him off the top turnbuckle to the mat. Neidhart then hit a running kneedrop for the pinfall.

The Snowbirds (Owen Hart & Brian Pillman) vs. Mando & Hector Guerrero

With Chavo working a show for Lutte Internationale, it would be Mando and Hector taking on the Snowbirds in an exciting bout that Owen managed to take with a reverse flying body press on Hector

Leo Burke vs. Chris Candido

Burke had Candido locked in the Sleeper Hold , but then Gary Young and Dan Severn showed up at ringside and distracted the ref. While that was going on, Tracy Smothers came off the top rope with a Jawjacker to the back of Burke's head and put Candido on top of him. When the ref turned around, he saw Candido covering Burke and made the count. After the match, Smothers, Young and Severn got in the ring and raised Candido's arm in victory. It looks like the Hollywood Knights now have their 4th member.

Doug Gilbert & Vic Steamboat vs. Chris Adams & The Great Muta

With Eddie Gilbert also not back from a show with Lutte Internationale, it was up to his brother Doug and Vic Steamboat to take on Gary Hart's deadly duo. They gave them a fierce battle, but Chris Adams was able to sneak in the Superkick  on Gilbert to get the win

Badd Company & ?? ?? vs. The Midnight Express & Big Bubba Rogers

Jim Cornette and his crew seemed pretty full of themselves after their recent victory over Badd Company, guffawing and seemingly unconcerned over the identity of their mystery opponent. Missy came out next, dressed to the nines in a slinky black dress that matched Tanaka and Diamond's black ring gear. Cornette immediately started to taunt her, but she paid him no heed, instead pointing down the aisle and making a "come hither" gesture as she announced her new bodyguard … "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell! Cornette immediately hid behind Big Bubba in fear, but Rogers was impassive as ever and was ready to go against the Mountain From Stone Mountain. The resulting match was a rollicking bout where the two super heavyweights rocked the ring every time they squared off. Condrey ultimately tried the same trick as before, going for a clothesline from behind on Tanaka, but Tanaka ducked at the last second and Condrey knocked Eaton out of the ring. Tanaka then took Condrey down with a lightning quick legsweep and tagged in Diamond who hit a running splash to get the winning pinfall.

Pacific Television Title Match : Bob Orton © vs. Jim Duggan

A hard hitting slugfest that ended in a double countout with both men brawling outside the ring.

Pacific Coast Wrestling Show from the UCSB Event Center, Santa Barbara, January 24th

Nick Busick vs. Waylon Mercy

These two big men went all out in a match that ended when Busick caught Mercy in a spinebuster slam

Biff Wellington vs. Mando Guerrero

A fast paced match between two light heavyweights where Mando tried to take out Wellington with a running cross body press, but Biff caught it and reversed it into a belly to belly piledriver for the victory

The Thundercats (Too Cold Scorpio & Norman Smiley) vs. The Dog Pound (Rick Steiner & Brian Knobbs)

A totally out of control brawl between the two teams that ended with the ref declaring a no contest

Tom Zenk, Al Perez & Ron Simmons vs. Tracy Smothers, Gary Young & Dan Severn

Al Perez had Young set up for a German Suplex, but once again Smothers came off the top with Jawjacker. Perez managed to stagger back to his feet, only for Severn to hit a crushing judo takedown to get the pinfall

Barry Windham & Mike Rotunda vs. Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron)

An exciting bout between two powerful teams where Windham was just barely able to keep Cameron's shoulders to the mat after a running bulldog. Both teams seemed still willing to go after the match ended but eventually cooled down and returned to the locker room.

Street Fight For The Pacific Tag Team Titles : Cabin Fever (Grizzly Boone & Manny Fernandez) © vs. Buddy Rose & Ed Wiskowski

As one would imagine with these two teams, a crazy match with all four men getting busted open. Fernandez was able to hit the Flying Burrito forearm on Wiskowski to defend their titles.

The Snowbirds once again defeat the Guerreros. I'm sure the Guerreros are very frustrated right now.

Looks like Candido has found a home with the Hollywood Knights. Man these guys are meant for each other.

Missy's pretty smart as she enlists none other than Jerry Blackwell as her bodyguard! It pays off as Blackwell and Badd Co. upset the Midnight Express and Bubba. This feud is getting good.

Orton and Duggan have a nice brawl where nothing is settled. Will Orton be able to hold off the challenge of Duggan much longer?

Love Busick's spinebuster slam finisher.

Thanks to the Dog Pound, the Thundercats are getting their enthusiasm back. This could be a fun sleeper feud.

Hollywood Knights win a battle against the Brigade.

I'm enjoying the Windham/Rotunda-Iron & Steel matches. Some good hard hitting action.

Cabin Fever retain in a street fight over the Playboy Club. Will the Playboy Club want more?

Solid house shows with something for everybody.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver, on ESPN / TSN,

The Snowbirds vs. Mando, Chavo & Hector Guerero

Ever since their arrival in PCW, the Snowbirds have been hard on the trail of the Guerrero Brothers and their Golden State Tag Team Titles, getting wins in singles and six man matches. They might have just found the catalyst to propel them to that title victory with the arrival of their new 3rd member : young Japanese superstar Hiroshi Hase! Hase brings some rock solid credentials to the team, including representing Japan at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics as well as training from Owen Hart's father, the legendary Stu Hart. Perhaps it is a sign of the faith that Owen Hart and Brian Pillman show in their new partner that they have adopted new thematic tights, with Hase's bearing the red rising sun of Japan, Pillman's having the Stars & Stripes, and Hart's being emblazoned with a red Canadian Maple Leaf. The Guerreros were clearly no longer taking this trio of youngsters lightly, going all out to shut down their challenge. The result was a fast paced and exciting match where Hase showed what he was made of with some wicked suplexes and throws, as well as showing his toughness by refusing to give in to the Gory Special by Chavo, ultimately breaking out of it. But it would be Owen who would take the match by coming off the top rope and pinning Hector with a flying sunset flip. The crowd's excitement over their victory was boosted by the announcement after the match that Hart and Pillman would get a shot at Chavo and Hector's Golden State Tag Team Titles at the upcoming Aloha Spectacular from Honolulu, Hawaii.

Interview : Frank Bonnema stands in the ring

Bonnema : Ladies and gentlemen, my guests tonight are a pair of young English wrestlers who have been generating a lot of excitement in PCW … Steven Regal and Robbie Brookside, British Steel!

"Living After Midnight" by Judas Priest plays over the arena PA and the crowd cheers as Regal and Brookside head to join Bonneman in the ring , high fiving the fans along the way.

Bonnema : Gentlemen, there have a fair number of young wrestlers who have made their debut of late in the Pacific Coast, but you are among the youngest, as well as among the most impressive. How exactly did you come to be working in PCW?

Regal : Glad you asked, Frank Bonnema, as that is something of a story. You see, Robbie and I got started early back in England, but were still starting to make our mark. Then one night after a show, we were at a pub and another wrestler came up and introduced himself. It was Chris Adams. *the crowd boos and Regal nods and holds up his hand, asking them to be quiet* Yes, this was before he started working with Gary Hart and we knew what sort of man he truly was. He said he was very impressed with our work. He told us that he was taking a vacation to come back home to visit his family, but he was working in a wrestling promotion in America, and if we were interested, he could guarantee us a job working there. We immediately accepted, and soon we were packing our bags, getting our visas, and on our way to the Pacific Coast. And what did we find when we got there? We showed up and Dutch Savage and the other PCW officials had no idea who we were! Chris Adams had not said word one about us, no job waiting for us, nothing! Luckily, Dutch Savage heard our plight and offered us a spot on some shows, giving us a chance to prove ourselves. And we earned our place on the roster. But ever since then, Chris Adams hasn't given us the time of day. He's spent all of his time with Gary Hart and the Hart Foundation.

Bonnema : Yes, and you have been having a lot of matches lately against the Hart Foundation.

Brookside : True, and we've let them know that we are not to be overlooked. But every time we come close to beating them, they pull out some dirty trick or Brian Adams interferes. But they will not get rid of us that easily. We are determined ---

Brookside is cut off as "Who's That Lady" by the Isley Brothers plays over the arena PA and Missy Hyatt, accompanied by her bodyguard Jerry Blackwell, makes her appearance. The fans hoot and whistle and she revels in the attention before entering the ring.

Hyatt : Gentlemen, so sorry to interrupt but I was listening to what you said and thought I could lend a hand. I hate Chris Adams and Gary Hart just as much as you do, and I think we would be much better off working together against them than on our own. Now, I won't be able to take you fully into Hyatt International. I already have my own amazing tag team, Badd Company. But I can help you in other ways. I have used my considerable influence to sign a match for you against the Hart Foundation at the Aloha Spectacular! * Regal and Brookside break out into broad grins at this news* I will lend you the services of my personal bodyguard, "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell, so you won't have to worry about the American Ninja interfering. *Blackwell nods* And there have been some changes in the Hyatt International organization that I think might be of interest to you. Eddie's brother, Doug Gilbert, had to suddenly return home due to a family emergency. I've found someone to take his place in the organization, an experienced British wrestler looking to break into the American scene. I have had a chat with him and he is very interested in helping you out, watching your back and mentoring you on the road. How does that sound?

Regal : Well, Miss Hyatt, it certainly sounds interesting. Who is it?

Hyatt : He's a third generation wrestler, the grandson of Joe Taylor and the son of former British Heavy-Middleweight Champion Eric Taylor. He's an award winning amateur wrestler and up and comping professional superstar. He's coming off a successful tour of Japan and I am sure he will be just as successful here in America. Gents, get ready to meet your new best friend … "Squire" Dave Taylor!

Regal and Brookside look overjoyed as Taylor comes out and joins them in the ring.

Taylor : Well, my likely lads! Missy has been telling me about you. I've been watching your matches, and I am impressed. The Hart Foundation have put you through hell, and you have given it right back to them. But let me tell you this. That hell is nothing compared to what I am going to put you through. I am going to work you like you have never been worked before. I will train you so intensely that it will push you right to the brink And I will guarantee that when I am done, you will be better, stronger, and the Hart Foundation will regret the day they ever crossed you. What do you say, lads?

Regal and Brookside eagerly agree and shake his hand as the fans cheer this new chapter in the story of British Steel.

Black Gold vs. Vince Moua & Tom Laidlaw

Black Gold is the new duo of Steve Blackman and Shane Douglas, joined at ringside by Leo Burke. Burke promised that he had a great partner set up for Douglas, and he certainly delivered in the tough as nails Blackman. Their differing styles made for a unique but potent blend, with the hard hitting shots and kicks of Blackman setting up well for the high flying moves of Douglas. The two made short work of the two rookies, with Douglas whipping Moua into a bicycle kick from Blackman that put an end to the match. Douglas and Blackman have found a place in the Five Man Army, and the Hollywood Knights had best watch out.

Tom Zenk vs. Tracy Smothers

Speaking of the Hollywood Knights, they were all out in force to accompany one of their newest members, *ahem* "Mr. Hollywood" Tracy Smothers to the ring as he took on the former California Champion, Tom Zenk. Gary Young, Dan Severn and Chris Candido were a boisterous presence at ringside (well, maybe Severn wasn't quite so boisterous, but was certainly intimidating) as they rooted Smothers in his match. Zenk did his best to shut out the outside distraction, and definitely held his own against Smothers, but the numbers proved to be too much to overcome. Gary Young tripped Zenk as he was trying to run the ropes, and Smothers capitalized with a spinning elbow smash that got the three count. After the match, it was announced that Smothers would face Zenk's Brigade teammate Al Perez for the California Title at Aloha Spectacular.

Jim Duggan vs. Grizzly Boone

The Crazy Gang and the Playboy Club have been waging a brutal and bloody war, with the Pacific Tag Team Titles held by Cabin Fever being the focal point. Both sides were very much present at ringside as Hacksaw did battle with the huge Mountain Man. This was just a bare knuckled brawl, with both men busted open and battered by the end of it. Boone looked like he had things set for the victory when Duggan was trapped in the corner and Boone came in for an Avalanche, but Duggan was able to dodge out of the way. Boone somehow was able to stop himself at the last second from crashing into the corner, but when he turned around, Duggan took him down with a whalloping three point clothesline. Duggan then followed up with a running kneedrop and just barely kept Boone's shoulders down for the three count. The Playboy Club were jubilant, and after the match it was announced that Rose and Duggan would face Boone and Fernandez for the Pacific Tag Team Titles at Aloha Spectacular. Duggan was clearly thrilled at the news, but Rose and Ed Wiskowski seemed more subdued at the announcement. What is going on here?

With the addition of Hase, the Snowbirds are well represented around the globe. They score another win over the Guerreros. The Guerreros titles might be in serious jeopardy.

British Steel gets a good rub tonight as Missy offers to help them out. Taylor will no doubt be a strong influence. Good back story here. Will they finally get that big win over the Hart Foundation?

Black Gold debut and have their sights set on the Hollywood Knights.

Speaking of Hollywood Knights, they give Zenk a lot of distractions which allow Smothers to get the win and an upcoming shot at Perez. That match might steal the show at the Aloha Spectacular.

Duggan gets a big win over Boone and earns himself and Rose a tag title shot. I wonder why Rose and Easy Ed weren't to excited? We'll see how this plays out.

With all the great feuds going, the Aloha Spectacular will be nothing less than spectacular.

This fight between two heated rivals ended with Bigelow pinning Mercy after a slingshot splash

Mike Rotunda & Barry Windham vs. Iron & Steel (Larry Cameron & Tony Atlas)

Leo Burke & Black Gold (Steve Blackman & Shane Douglas) vs. The Hollywood Knights (Gary Young, Dan Severn & Chris Candido)

Blackman pinned Young after a bicycle kick to the face

Pacific Light Heavyweight Title Match : Too Cold Scorpio © vs. Hiroshi Hase

A riveting technical match that went to a 15 minute time limit draw

Dave Taylor vs. Bret Hart

Taylor gave Hart a much tougher fight than he was expecting, and wound up winning the match by DQ when he was attacked by Jim Neidhart. The two then double teamed him until British Steel charged in and ran them off.

Ed Wiskowski vs. Stan Hansen

A rough and tumble match between two big bruisers that Hansen took when he came roaring out of the corner with a massive lariat that leveled Wiskowski

Badd Company vs. The Midnight Express

The crowd was rocking and rolling for this intense and exciting tag team battle.  Diamond was going for a flying reverse bodypress, only for Eaton to duck. It was all a feint by Diamond , however, who instead hit a top rope sunset flip to score the three count

Brian Pillman vs. The Great Muta

The rookie Pillman put in a valiant effort and looked like he just might pull it off when he went for the Air Pillman, but Muta intercepted it with a spin kick, then followed up with the Moonsault and won the match

California Title Match : Al Perez © vs. Chris Candido

The bratty young upstart Candido actually gave a considerable challenge for Perez, showing he might actually be almost as good as he thinks he is, but Perez was able to hit the German Suplex and successfully defend his title.

Doesn't get more hard hitting than a Simmons/Anvil match.

Wild Bulls are quickly getting over especially with the Bullpen LOL.

Iron & Steel pull off a huge win over Windham and Rotunda. Loving the Atlas/Cameron pairing.

Burke and Black Gold win round 1 against the Hollywood Knights.

Adams gets the fall in the 6 man match and now gets a shot at Gilbert's Pacific Title. I've been waiting for this huge match up. Can't wait for Aloha Spectacular.

Scorpio and Hase defiantly got the fans warmed up.

Nobody gets up from Stan's lariat! Stan could go all the way in Pacific.

WOW! Badd Co. score another win over the Midnight Express. Badd Co has been built up so well here that I can't call it an upset.

Candido gets some shine but Perez is really coming into his own and has a firm grip on the CA title.

Damn good matches!

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Portland Sports Arena, Portland , on ESPN / TSN , January 8th

Hiroshi Hase vs. Jason Linden

Last week, Hase made his debut as a part of the Snowbirds in a winning effort against the Guerrero Brothers. This week, he had a chance to show his skills in singles action and those skills were very impressive. Hase is a rising young star from Japan and easily dominated young Linden with a series of throws and suplexes. Brian Pillman and Owen Hart were at ringside to cheer on their teammate as he pinned Linden with a bridging suplex they called the Northern Lights Suplex. The Snowbirds certainly have momentum on their side going into Aloha Spectacular, we will see if it can get them the Golden State Tag Titles.

Dave Taylor vs. Mando Guerrero

Much like the previous match, Taylor was also joined by his team mates, Steven Regal and Robbie Brookside of British Steel. Taylor certainly had his hands full with the veteran Guerrero, and the two men had a tight technical showdown, full of matwork and counter wrestling. As the match wore on, both men started to up their game, gradually increasing intensity to try to take the other one out. Mando was trying to put the match away with a German Suplex, but Taylor blocked it then took him down with a legsweep. He then caught Guerrero in a single leg submission and , much though he struggled, Mando could not escape and had to give up the match.  Taylor could prove to be just the guiding influence that British Steel need to take them to the next level.

Steve Blackman vs. Chris Candido

Both of these young men were quick to find allies in PCW, Blackman with the Five Man Army and Candido with the Hollywood Knights. This time, however, they came out on their own, determined to prove themselves. Candido came with his usual combination of speed, skill and petulant attitude, and proved to be a lot to try to contain. But Blackman kept his cool, cutting some of Candido's offensive flurries off with well placed kicks and clotheslines. Blackman bided his time and it paid off when Candido recklessly charged in and Blackman caught him flatfooted with a flash bicycle kick to the jaw that knocked him senseless and got Blackman the three count. He didn't have long to enjoy his victory as, out of nowhere, Gary Young and Dan Severn charged into the ring and attacked him, prompting Leo Burke and Shane Douglas to come in and return fire. A brief scuffle was shut down very quickly by PCW security, but you can tell that this feud is showing no signs of slowing down.

Interview : Frank Bonnema stands in the ring

Bonnema : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guest will be facing Eddie Gilbert for the Pacific Heavyweight Title  at the big Aloha Spectacular at the end of the month … "Gentleman" Chris Adams!

The crowd boos vociferously as Adams, along with his manager Gary Hart and the other members of Hart International (The Great Muta, Brian Adams, Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart) head to the ring. Adams pays them no mind and seems as full of himself as ever.

Bonnema : Chris Adams, we will get to the Aloha Spectacular in a moment, but first, last week, Steven Regal and Robbie Brookside had some scathing words about your treatment of them. Care to respond.

Adams : Oh, yes, I heard those two young punks telling some sort of sob story last week. Boo hoo, cry me a bleeding river! I'm Chris Adams, do you think I owe it to some rookies to give them a helping hand just because we come from the same country? I have my hands full with my own affairs and I don't need to have them pestering me like some flea in my ear. That's why I have the Hart Foundation to put them out of my misery.

Neihdart : That's right, Chris! British Tin, you've been a raspberry seed in our gumline for way too long! Whatever metal you think you are made of, you are going to be smashed to pieces by the Hitman and the Anvil. We're going to send you crying back home to your English mum's, where you belong! *guffaw*

Adams : Enough of them, on with the main topic! Eddie Gilbert, you have been ducking me for a long time now, but your time is up. I've been kept down for the whole duration of my run in PCW, but Aloha Spectacular will be the Gentleman's time to shine. Don't you dare tarnish that title belt, because I want it nice and shiny when it takes it's rightful place, around my waist!

Big Bubba Rogers vs. Dan Spilo

Speaking of people who are full of themselves, Jim Cornette was his usual self satisfied, err, self as he led his personal bodyguard out to the ring. His faith in "the baddest man in the world" was clearly well founded as Big Bubba proceeded to dismantle Dan Spilo, tossing him around the ring like a sack of garbage before driving him to the mat with the Bubba Slam. Even after the match ending bell had rung, Rogers and Cornette decided to prolong their fun by hitting a pair of running splashes that resulted in Spilo being carted away from the ring on a stretcher. Jim Cornette may be one of the most hated men in PCW, but he's probably feeling pretty safe, hiding behind the monster from Louisville.

Buddy Rose & Ed Wiskowski vs. Bob Orton & Manny Fernandez

Buddy Rose and Jim Duggan will be challenging for the Pacific Tag Team Titles at Aloha Spectacular, but this time the titles would not be on the line as the Playboy Club squared off with two members of the Crazy Gang. "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan was conspicuous by his absence, but Rose seemed perfectly fine with his long term compatriot Ed Wiskowski. The two worked together like a well oiled machine, tagging in and out and toughing out the onslaught of the Cowboy and the Ragin' Bull. The two deftly took advantage of the ref leading  Orton out of the ring, with Rose sneaking in a low blow on Fernandez setting him up for a face first piledriver by Easy Ed, getting the pinfall. Could this big victory over the Crazy Gang be a positive omen for the tag title match at Aloha Spectacular?

Hase shows his skills in a good showcase match.

Big win for Taylor as he makes Mando submit.

Blackman gets the win over Candido but this feud is far from over.

Great promo by Adams as he heads into his big title match with Gilbert. I like Anvil getting his two cents in.

No doubt with Big Bubba around, Cornette wont be afraid to shoot his mouth off.

Rose and Easy Ed win a battle over the Crazy Gang but I have to wonder what's going on between Duggan and Rose.

Things are heating up as Pacific heads into the Aloha Spectacular.

Going to try to work in more interviews on my TV shows. I really don't think I've done right by some of the people I have had in the past (I don't think Michael Hayes got anywhere near a microphone during his time in PCW), but with people like Jim Cornette on the roster, will try to find more opportunities to let them speak.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Portland Memorial Coliseum , Portland , on ESPN / TSN Pacific Super Cards, January 9th

British Steel (Steven Regal & Robbie Brookside) vs. The Hart Foundation

Bret Hart was setting up Brookside for the figure four leglock when Brookside caught him in an inside cradle and managed to keep his shoulders down for the three count. Brian Adams tried to enter the ring to break up the count but was intercepted by Dave Taylor. British Steel and the fans were overjoyed at this important victory, but the real test will come up at Aloha Spectacular, where these two teams will face off in their highest profile match yet.

Tom Zenk & Al Perez vs. The Wild Bulls (Ed & Rick Gantner)

The Bullpen was out in force, cheering on their team as they defeated the Brigade when Rick hit the Hangman's Drop (two handed chokeslam) on Zenk

The Thundercats (Too Cold Scorpio & Norman Smiley) vs. The Dog Pound (Brian Knobbs & Rick Steiner)

The Wild Dogs were so obnoxious, they were annoying the other fans (including the aforementioned Bullpen), to the extent that security threatened to eject them from the arena. The Dog Pound and Thundercats had a crazy match where Scorpio hit a top rope flying body press to the outside on both Knobbs and Steiner and managed to make it back in the ring in time to win by countout. Both teams continued to fight after the final count.

Badd Company vs. The Midnight Express

Diamond had Eaton set up for a German Suplex , but Condrey took advantage of a ref distraction to come off the top rope with a flying elbow smash to the back of the head to steal the win for the Midnights

Dave Taylor vs. Chris Candido

Taylor certainly had his hands full trying to rein in the bratty Candido, who threw a combination of rapid fire moves and chicanery at him, but ultimately took him out with a double underhook suplex

Pacific Television Title Match : Bob Orton © vs. Buddy Rose

Rose won by DQ when he was attacked by Manny Fernandez. Ed Wiskowski ran out and helped Rose run off the Crazy Gang. Orton retained the Television Title.

Barry Windham & Mike Rotunda vs. Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron)

These two teams have had some incredibly hard hitting matches of late. Rotunda was able to pin Atlas with a Samoan Drop to take this match for the Brigade. They will face each other again at the Aloha Spectacular.

Eddie Gilbert & Vic Steamboat vs. Chris Adams & The Great Muta

Muta pinned Steamboat with the Moonsault

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from McArthur Court, Eugene, January 10th

Hiroshi Hase vs. Chris Candido

In spite of his abrasive personality, Candido has a considerable amount of talent and showed it in this tightly contested bout where Hase was eventually put him down with the Northern Lights Suplex. Hase offered to shake his hand in respect after the match, but Candido stormed off in a huff

The Thundercats (Too Cold Scorpio & Norman Smiley) vs. The Hollywood Knights (Gary Young & Dan Severn)

The Thundercats came in quite banged up from the previous night's match but still put in a game effort before Severn finally put Smiley down with a backdrop suplex

Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Stan Hansen

These two big bruisers had a high impact match that couldn't be contained by the ring, as they both ended up being counted out while brawling in the aisle

The Snowbirds (Owen Hart & Brian Pillman) vs. The Dog Pound (Brian Knobbs & Rick Steiner)

The Dog Pound were similarly showing wear and tear from the night before but were also ready to go and actually pulled off the victory when Owen went for a running cross body press and Knobbs reversed it into a power slam. The Wild Dogs went nuts at this result and security had to come out to order them to behave themselves.

Golden State Tag Team Title Match : Chavo & Hector Guerrero © vs. Black Gold (Shane Douglas & Steve Blackman)

The Guerreros squared off against one of the fastest rising young teams in PCW in a match where the momentum swung back and forth but the champions were ultimately triumphant when Hector caught Douglas in the Guerrero Clutch

Pacific Television Title Match : Bob Orton © vs. Ron Simmons

In his second title defense in as many nights, Orton faced off against the powerhouse rookie out of Florida State, Ron Simmons, and used his considerable guile and ring skills to go the distance, taking the match to a 20 minute time limit draw.

Look at that, British Steel finally pulls off a win over the Hart Foundation. That's a big time confidence booster.

Wild Bulls don't disappoint their Bullpen fans, with that decisive win over Zenk and Perez.

Thundercats get back on the winning track. It was only a matter of time before the Bullpen and Wild Dogs crossed paths. Pacific better amp up security.

Midnight's win this round over Badd Co. but these teams will fight another day.

Taylor is racking up the wins.

I know Orton and Rose gave the fans a solid match. DQ finish keeps the feud hot.

My guys Iron and Steel drop one to Windham and Rotunda but they'll get a chance for payback at Aloha Spectacular.

Muta ends the night with his innovating moonsault.

LOL, Candido is going to have a breakdown.

I would of bought a ticket for that Hansen/Bigelow match.

Security is now on high alert every time the Dog Pound wrestles.

Guerreros retain tonight, but they have those pesky Snowbirds at Aloha Spectacular.

Simmons impresses by taking Orton to the limit. Simmons is a star in the making.

Aloha Spectacular looks stacked. These feuds have been built up so well. I'm looking forward to the pay offs.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Cow Palace , San Francisco , on ESPN / TSN,  February 12th

Ron Simmons vs. Des Quilty

The newest member of the Brigade has been gaining a lot of attention from the fans with his explosive power and hard hitting style. He took time to shake hands with the fans on the way to the ring but once he was all focus, looking intently across the ring to Quilty until the bell rang, at which point he came roaring out of the blocks and flattened him with a clothesline. He then proceeded to toss him around the ring like a bag of dirty laundry before press slamming him with seemingly no effort at all. He finally put him away with a devastating spear that got the 3 count.  Of all of the rising stars in PCW, Simmons is perhaps the most impressive.

Steve Blackman vs. Dan Severn

Speaking of impressive newcomers, these two warriors squared off in a match that pitted Blackman's blistering kicks and punches against the elite level grappling ability of Severn. Blackman was accompanied by his mentor Leo Burke and his Black Gold partner Shane Douglas, while Severn was backed up by his cohorts from the Hollywood Knights, Gary Young and Chris Candido. Blackwell used his kicks to great effect to inflict a lot of damage and force Severn to keep his distance, but when Severn was able to close the gap, he was able to grab Blackman and hit some jarring throws and takedowns.  The battle between the two was quite intense and it reached a climax when Severn dove in for a take down, but Blackman was able to counter with a knee shot that grazed Severn in the head and staggered the Michigan native. Blackman swiftly capitalized by taking him down with a legsweep and wrapping him in an Indian leglock. Severn seemed to be working on an escape, possibly getting to the ropes, but Gary Young decided to take no chances, leaping into the ring and breaking the hold with a boot to Blackman's head. Unfortunately for him, he did this right in front of the ref, who called for the bell and gave the match to Blackman by DQ. Severn is not an emotionally demonstrative person by any means, but he was staring daggers at Young as they went back to the locker room.

Tom Zenk vs. The Great Muta

The Great Muta used to be a well respected member of the PCW roster, but ever since he joined the ranks of Gary Hart International, that respect has turned to terror. Whether it has been the sinister mist, his blistering kicks or the spectacular Moonsault, Muta has torn through the PCW competition with unprecedented speed and ferocity. Nothing Tom Zenk did seemed to slow back the Pearl Of The Orient, as Muta tore into him with rapid fire kicks and shots, before he sent the former California champion to the mat with a backbreaker and polished him off with the Moonsault. Eddie Gilbert may currently have his hands full with Chris Adams, but even if he survives that challenge, he may well be facing the Great Muta in the not too distant future.

Interview : Frank Bonnema stands in the ring

Bonnema : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests have made quite an impact in their short time in Pacific Coast Wrestling … Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express!

The crowd explodes in boos as Jim Cornette, Bobby Eaton, Dennis Condrey and Big Bubba Rogers head to the ring. Cornette is his usual smug self and, while a number of fans look like they want to charge in and take a swing at him, the presence of Big Bubba makes them think better of it.

Bonnema : Jim Cornette, four weeks ago, right here in San Francisco, you said, well, plenty. What more do you have to say now?

Jim Cornette : Four weeks later and four simple words : I TOLD YOU SO! I said that the Midnight Express would run right over all of the so called competition in PCW, and that's just what we did. All of the other tag teams are running scared, and it's only a matter of time before we hold gold!

Bonnema : Now wait one minute, Jim Cornette! Your men have gotten some pretty impressive wins, but Badd Company are certainly not scared of you. They've even beaten your men!

Cornette : You mind your tongue, Bonnema, before I have Big Bubba wash your mouth out with soap! Badd Company may have stolen, … yes, stolen some wins from the Express! They used underhanded and ungentlemanly tactics, just the sort of thing I would expect from people who would associate with Missy Hyatt. Missy is just the sort of woman I would expect to find loitering in the part of town that my mother won't let me visit! And she is clearly jealous of me. She sees that I have the best tag team in the world, the has to send her own team to try and tear us down. She is intimidated by my bodyguard, so she hires her own bodyguard in "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell . Well, she clearly went looking for bargains, because the best she could get was that hick from Stone Mountain. A man like that wouldn't be allowed to trim the hedges of my family's estate, let alone dine at our table. Well, I put my faith in the baddest man in the Universe! Big Bubba has been a trusted employee of my family for years. My beloved mother pays him good money to be my friend, and he has been the best friend money can buy. He is a thousand times tougher than that gutbucket Jerry Blackwell, and will prove it when they face off at Aloha Spectacular! Yes, I have signed a match between my man and that overstuffed baked potato that calls himself "Crusher", and we will prove that no one, and I mean no one, dares to mess with Big Bubba and gets away with it!

Street Fight : Buddy Rose, Ed Wiskowski & Jim Duggan vs. The Crazy Gang (Bob Orton, Grizzly Boone & Manny Fernandez)

These two factions have been waging an intense and brutal war, and it all comes to a head in this all out showdown. With no rules to hold them back, both sides let out all the stops, with every man in the match being busted open during the match. This match went much longer than anyone would have thought, and every time it seemed like one side could give no more, their raw hatred of their enemies would give them the push to keep going. Fernandez looked like he might just be able to take out Rose when he went for the flying burrito forearm, but Rose ducked at the last second, and Fernandez wound up being levelled by the three point clothesline from Duggan. Rose then hit the Inside Out Backbreaker and Duggan and Wiskowski held off Boone and Orton while the ref made the three count. The Playboy Club had gotten their biggest victory yet. The crowd cheered as Rose and Wiskowski raised Duggan's arms in victory … but that immediately turned to stunned silence when Wiskowski blasted Duggan with a short clothesline! He then hit the Face First Piledriver on "Hacksaw", and Rose dropped a series of elbow smashes on Duggan until the members of the Brigade charged into the ring and ran them off. What this means for the tag match between Cabin Fever and Rose and Duggan at Aloha Spectacular remains to be seen, but the alliance between Rose and Duggan is clearly no more.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Oakland Alameda County Arena, Oakland,  on Pacific Super Cards, February 13th

The Thundercats (Too Cold Scorpio & Norman Smiley) vs. The Midnight Express

This was a distinctly different match from their previous outing. When the Midnight Express made their Pacific Coast debut by catching the Thundercats off guard, this time the popular team of Scorpio and Smiley were ready for them and truly took the fight to Cornette's men. The Thundercats had the Express backpedaling for much of the match and, while Condrey was just barely able to hold down Smiley for the three count after a DDT, the Thundercats are clearly back on track and not to be taken lightly.

Brian Pillman vs. Chris Candido

In spite of bringing his trademark petulance to the ring, Candido gave Pillman quite the fight before ultimately going down to the Air Pillman. Pillman offered a handshake of respect after the match, but once again, Candido chose to sulk his way back to the locker room

Bam Bam Bigelow & Leo Burke vs. Waylon Mercy & Stan Hansen

Hansen pinned Burke after a vicious lariat

Black Gold (Shane Douglas & Steve Blackman) & Nick Busick vs. The Hollywood Knights (Gary Young, Dan Severn & Tracy Smothers)

Douglas hit a belly to belly suplex on Young to get the victory

Pacific Tag Team Title Match :  Cabin Fever (Grizzly Boone & Manny Fernandez) © vs. Barry Windham & Mike Rotunda

Boone pinned Rotunda after Iron & Steel made their way to ringside and Larry Cameron snuck in the ring and hit the Harlem Hammer on Rotunda

Ten Man Tag Team Match : Eddie Gilbert, Vic Steamboat, Dave Taylor & British Steel (Steven Regal & Robbie Brookside) vs. Chris Adams, The Great Muta, Brian Adams & The Hart Foundation

An epic match that ended when Steamboat came off the top rope and hit a flying cross body press on Neidhart to pull out the win for his team

California Title Match : Al Perez © vs. Gary Young

Golden State Tag Team Title Match : Chavo & Hector Guerrero © vs. The Snowbirds (Owen Hart & Brian Pillman)

An epic tag match where the Snowbirds looked at several points like they just might take the titles but the Guerreros were able to go the distance and take it to a 30 minute time limit draw, keeping the title belts around their waists
